why we have idps in the north is because boko haram is killing it's own people, this also why idps was not a problem in the Niger Delta. common sense also dictates that they would quickly push the fight outside their region to make maximum psychological impact on the general citizenry. the Nigerian army is also in no shape right now to combat any wide spread insurgency.

The truth is if IPOB start any kind arm of hostilities against Nigerian govt in the east today,be it full scale war or guerrilla warfare,within less than a year Nigerian army will collapse.

Nigerian army are already stressed with their on-going war with Boko Haram in the north east coupled with the frequent cries of lack of arms by the soldiers.

Also if war broke out in the east today,do u think that Nigerian soldiers of Biafran origin will come to the east to fight their own brothers?? That means Nigerian army will be divided,some of the soldiers of Biafran origin will even return home to fight on the side of the biafrans.

Within a year the Biafrans will capture most of the land in east.
The only thing ur Buhari will do will be to travel abroad seeking International assistance.A year is even too far to achieve that going by the present realities on the ground.

Truth is that Nigeria can not fight on two fronts and win impossible,that is why sultan of sokoto is sending a delegation to the east for peace talks.

Why are the almajiris in the north that killed ppl because of far-away danish cartoon and Beauty peagant are nolonger interested in replying Onitsha attacks?? It is simply because they don't want another war at this time.They know the would-be outcome,they know whatsup.

the civil war has clear cut national boundaries while the ipob would not, refugees if any might run from enugu taraba or Lagos where they have relations while Nigerians might run from kogi to onitsha where they have relations, observe what is happening in the north east.

i live in the north and i can boldly tell you that even northerners have no stomach for violence now, they already live in fear so while invite more problems. also the anti Hausa killings in the east in the last few years have clearly demonstrated to them that nobody have the monopoly of violence. the major problem of the north is the corrupt elites that are gaining immensely from the lugards cage.

U do realise the battleground would be d south-East abi... If u get sense u'll shut up and face ur life. U think violent rebellion is jus protesting by force abi.. Go and ask Syria or Yemen how market. It would even be worse for d south east because no other region is going to want to accommodate us as refugees.

Forget it! No igbo man will become aggressive outside Igbo-land and if you decides to bring violent to Igbo-land, you have lessons of what can become out of your land from various places in the world.

With our second largest population after indigenes everywhere we can turn it on and go on the offensive anywhere we are found. We are well organized as you can c from our village and town meetings everywhere in Nigeria. The Igbos can achieve anything once they made up their mind. Ruthless Guerilla warfare that will exterminate, decimate and chase out forces of occupation out of biafraland is a very viable option.

I am not praying for this to happen but considering the lukewarm attitude of the government on issues at stake and considering the shoot at sight order the government had given to the joint task force.
