The school will consider d number of applicants dat made d cut,nd relate it to her capacity.
Let assume 30,000 applied
If d sch can only take 10,000 students,nd 20,000 made d cut(50 a u said),u can imagine d number of students dat will b dropped.

The lesser d number of applicants,the higher ur chances of making it,cos d competition is real

U still don't get it... this year 30,000+ applicant, 9,000 scored above 50, 3,500 to be admitted... they choose cut-off mark according to each quota of candidates they can admit to a course

bro, don't compare HND and BSC in the Nigerian Labour market oh.........no matter the course, I can only advise HND if that person want to be self employed in that field..............I studied at a polytechnic so don't think I'm discriminating........

All the people around me make the cut-off mark and they are admitted. only one person didnt make the cut-off mark, bt later do change of course and he was admitted (he scored 64 and cut-off mark is 69, course econs)... so i dnt knw wat happen wit ur frnd

Your frd most probably have a wrong jamb combo or an incomplete O'level result... To the best of my knowledge, admission @ d university of ibadan is clean, clear and transparent...
