Bollocks! You say you don't want the separation of Biafra and yet you help in raising their publicity by bringing every article about their agitation to the front page. Like I said before, Bollocks!

I think this is against the freedom of speech and view we all strive to sustain in our democracy ,I am not a biafran but seun I think this isn't the best way to deal with it , I don't see how NL differs from the Senate right now.

Wow, so we aren't free to express our views and beliefs? Just wow!

This sort of move from Mr. Founder makes me just want to delete my account right now....and I just might! angry

Afterthought....

The truth is that an idea can not be killed as Wole Soyinka said, you can ban half of your members but it wont do much, once the idea has taken root, it will be impossible to destroy!

The same force that moved seun to take this decision have all it takes to make him do much more.

It's about mind control. This is one of the small steps.

the fact that you are a black man means, you know not the difference between man and woman. I am not a man, studies have shown black men are behind their women in brain power. Such studies are proven here

What an insult! So because you write big English now, we should not hear word again abi? Better go and humble yourself so that you will see husband. Continue to blow grammar like Wole Soyinka.

he have just failed by stopping Biafra issues because weather he likes it or not Biafra have come to stay

I agree Biafra is here to stay (as an abstract entity). And also, Seun is right to be proNigeria on this issue...

You are the one who needs sense. Go and learn comprehension, or better still, ask a primary school kid to interpret to you.

Seun what happens to those who open Biafran thread to insult the Igbo's

Most ban happen when u attack someone who smears the image of Igbo's who support biafra..

If speaking in favor of Biafra attracts a ban nd those attacking the tribe behind biafra goes scot free, broz, Oga seun it's not fair..

Why not ban anyone who opens a topic on biafra that is not on the news.

Thou I will still say with all due respect, that ur Mod is partisan...
Pls lets be fair to Nairaland mods, last week i was banned for 3 days by a mod for insulting Biafra. The mods are not partisan as you want us to believe.

The Anti social media bill has just been executed on Nairaland.

What happened to freedom of expression? Seun should mellow down and let the Biafran agitators do as they please..its all about freedom of expression.

I think the best bet is for him to disociate nairaland from any such act and make it a new rule. Enough of these military like rules and regulations.

Nairaland was created by Seun but belongs to nairalanders cos without the members, nairaland as a forum is non and void.

but the rules in his business is going against d constitution of the fed. Republic of Nigeria ....biafria myt look like a potential terrorist group if their demands are not met but seun still dont av d right to stop them from using this forum to ask for biafra...what he should do so as to make peace reign in this Nl is caution.. Letting the agitators know their limits as they cont to fight for what they believe. Letting them know that they should not say or post things insultive to other people's tribal group all in the name of Biafra that is all..I still think he went too far...u cannor kuku defend those Biafra people Buh u know we just av to tell each other d truth

It doesn't matter. If the Nigerian government tags the movement as terrorist and threatens any business that supports the movement, there is nothing one can do. You can not expect to be an enemy of the state and still conduct business in Nigeria.
I'm sure you realize what happened with Google adsense? I believe google forced him to either censor the forum or quit using their product.

Niger Delta has never been part of Biafra so why mention Niger Delta

It only goes to show the instinctive mindset of the yorubas and hausa/fulani. They consider the Igbos and Niger deltans as one and the same. This country is really not one if we were to tell ourselves the truth. If crude oil discoveries are made in the North, this song will change. I bet you the North will pull out of this marriage called Nigeria immediately!!! undecided

I'm very disaapointed in you seun, are you the nairalanders, did you conduct opinion polls to get people's opinion as well. This is exactly what our leaders are doing by imposing unnecesaary rules that trample on our individual right and here you are the so called youth championing same dictatorial cause.

Nigga his hands were probably tied..

You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.

What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss.

You think you can keep threatening Nigeria and insulting the tribe of the OWNER of nairaland and go free? If ur not happy, go and create Biafra land. Who cares about ur opiniongrin

Well done oga Seun!!!

this is hypocrisy. I guess Seun may be among those bloggers that went to Abuja to protest the attempt passage of social media bill by the house. Why stop people from expressing thier feelings or right to live among other tribes. Just like what Soyinka said, open a thread that would sought the opinions of the southeasterners rather than trying to gag a message that has gone world over.

Nothing would break this great nation, no IPOD or IPAD wink

To hell wit tribal promotion! This is d problem! Evrybdy wants to promote his tribe! What is soo special about our tribes! Do u eat tribe! We ve seen brotherss of same tribe kill each other! Let us grow beyond this tribe mentality stuff!
When I say promote your tribe, I mean clarifying stereotypes, highlighting our food, culture, languages. Even though NLders have a way of turning it all to a tribal war.
I am sure if we put our heads together, we can overcome all that.

Is quite unfair Seun, i now feel for the Biafra agitators which even FG has tagged Legal.

Seun owns nairaland so i employ the biafrans to come up with a site to compete favourably with this to help them push there request.

The same Seun is yet to stop Boko Haram attacks post.

Is well, Biafra protesters and agitators be WISE AND VIGILANT.
