The people clamouring for Biafra should know that it is boldly written on their passports, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.. Not Biafra. I'd like to hear what igbo businessmen with businesses scattered round the country think about Biafra.. You say you wanna leave?? Fine.. Go to your home town, take your job/business along with you. Fly your flag there. I'm pretty sure there are A million and one people who have the same mentality/ideology as you do.. Problem solved!! FYI, i'm not yoruba.. Neither am i Igbo.. but I'm a f*cking Nigerian.. And, Mr Seun.. You obviously have good intentions but your approach is questionable.. You are gleefully forgetting that tribalism is not a one way affair.. Basically, if we wanna put it.. our misguided biafran brothers are trying to fight for their rights.. So, Freedom of expression should be allowed. What are you going to say about the Oduwa and Arewa public who are also as tribalistic as some biafrans, huh? As much as i like your decision on this matter. I think you've only touched one faction of the issue. If you really meant what you said about wanting one Nigeria.. Then all tribalists and hate preachers must be expelled from this forum, be it biafra, Oduwa or Arewa.. Anyone who has a problem can create their own.. Dem no force you sign up. 4 Likes |

spenca: of course there is freedom of speech & people should be allowed to voice their opinions without fear or censorship, but technically Nairaland is a cyber-Nigerian Territory -- to encourage fostering of an ideology that preaches division & disintegration of the state{Nigeria} would be reckless and to some certain degree be considered treason...seun could even be labelled a domestic terrorist... |

Seun: When you love someone and the person is saying that the love is hurting him... .wait if I may ask you SEUN, is loving someone by force? Freemanan:Igbos are not Urhobos. Urhobo is a minority tribe in Nigeria with smaller landmark and fewer people. They can only seek for secession at their own risk. How would Urhobo alone survive as a nation? Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba are the majors....this is what prompted the term Wazobia? Secondly, the Biafra advocators are majorly the common Igbo people who feel they've been misruled, oppressed and pushed around like commoners in a country they were supposed to share equal rights. This issue of secession didn't start with the Igbos; Catalonians fought for it too and got their independence from Spain 3 Likes |

My own is simple. When they talk Biafra why do they include Naija Delta? Abi do they refer to PH, Bayelsa and core eastern states. I begin to struggle when they add Delta/Edo. Like honestly, I don't identify with Biafra struggle. I don't have the faintest idea of what they are going through. I don't feel their pain too. LOL Good job Seun; about time we had this. |

Allosaurus: Firstly, Catalonia is Spain... Not independent... Secondly, Check the population of Faroes Island... And Georgia when they seek secession. Urhobos are more populated than Solomon Island even, and these are countries oh.... What do you have to say?, so because Igbo is more in numbers than Urhobo, that gives them the moral justification to secede? 1 Like 1 Share |

All Biafrans have one lady hollandis abi na hollandia, not sure of her name, she opened a thread around past 12am mainly to attack seun on this Biafra issue, the lady was just out o order, spewing trash together with one other guy, and I don dey wire dem better response before the thread was deleted. I'm sure Seun arrived at this decision because of that silly thread. |

Seun... this is the first time am commenting in your post. Believe me you sound more like a complete and bigoted tribal warrior. This shouldn't come from you. Come to think of it, you have been blocking most pro brafra post even banning its ballyhoo.so thinking you are making a statement in that regard will and will never make any difference. You should stand for the truth... Every living being have right for self determination. Tell them the best way to go about it and not to condemn and intimate them because you think you own a site. Just know that what will be will be with or without nairaland. :* :* 1 Like |
