The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has told his members not to give offering if they are not sure of their salvation.

He said this at the opening of the annual Holy Ghost Congress with the theme, “Floodgates of Heaven” at the Redemption Camp.

He said that anyone who is still living in sin and gives offering in the church is doing himself a disservice.

The annual December gathering of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God had taken off on a high note with singing and dancing.

Pastor Adeboye said that the reason why the church, in spite of its wealth, still collects offering from members is in order to get them out of poverty as they are investing in heaven.

He said, “From today, if you are not sure of your salvation, don’t ever give when it is time for offerings in RCCG.”

Not just offering but plus including tithe.

How is this a news? You guys should continue to rely on what your GOs, bishops, Senior Pastors, etc say. Until you guys start doing what JESUS CHRIST says, then this madness will continue.

They have placed so much enphasis on giving, offering, tithe, sowing seed but forget the primary issue which is Discipling Men.

It is most disheartening that most of the messages today are prosperity, healing, breakthrough, and materialism which cannot take anyman to heaven.

Why is what Adeboye said news?

You guys should stop following men.

Have you not read the Book of Matthew 5: 23-24? Have you not read Proverbs 15:8?

Must you wait for your pastors to read and interprete the word of GOD for you?

Anyway we have rejected the HOLY SPIRIT in the church of today. What a shame!

So the one written in the scriptures is no news but the one your GO said is?

What of the Global Evangelism are you guys still doing it? Or the GO has not spoken about it again. Meanwhile the Great Commission is for all believers.
