HighQue007:Sorry to say, but cry if u like for this country, the heart of some nigerians even on nairaland is solidified by tribal bigotry and political sentiment that they still see PMB as the devil and the likes of dasuki, GEJ and Co as angels. You will be amazed at the mentality of some nigerians. |

It is so unfortunate that I live in a country with peole like you who cannot even discern between fighting corruption and witch hunting/vengeance. Common sense should had told you that pmb is after dopkesi because of the derogatory doccumentary ait aired about him during the last election. What has dokpesi done? Is it his fault that he was paid outrageously for his media work during the last campaign? Tell me that it is also a coincidence that dasuki played a crucial role during his overthrow in 1983.you think typing long sentences and stories means that you reason well? If pmb is after fighting corruption he should start with tinubu? Tinubu owns almost all of lagos tell me how he got that? Upon all that he is still killing lagosians with taxes, toll gate fees, still exploiting the little lagosian toil to get! Is that not worst than bashir al assad has done. The billions rotimi brought for apc's campaign, where did he get it from? Was that not money mearnt for the good people of rivers state? Why dont we start there with this anti- corruption crusade. Buhari is busy destroying our economy, chasing out investors, petrol has been scarce for over a month now for no reason and he is bussy flying round the globe like a movie star and you are here praising him. Seeing post like yours makes me wanna swallow a live toad! Damn!!!!t HighQue007: 3 Likes |

I am not disappointed in Chief Raymond Dokpesi rather I am very much disappointed in some comments on this matter mentioning Obj, Atiku, Tinubu and so on. Whether selective or bias GEJ should have selected his own culprits and punished them but he did not. Any subsequent administration can selectively deal with proven criminals until we get rid of the corrupt people in our dear Nigeria. I rest my case. 1 Like 1 Share |

HighQue007: Its so easy to see that you are writing with a heavy heart. In fact, i am crying here with you! The problem is that you, just like most Nigerians have lost the entire plot. PMB cannot achieve any significant success in Nigeria. GEJ was never going to succeed. I did not vote for GEJ neither did i ever support his government. I did not vote for PMB and although i wish he could, but it is obvious that he can only try. How does a man who truly wants to fight corruption hobnob with the worst? Is Dokpesi more corrupt than Amaechi? Your present minister of Transport Is Diezanni worse than Atiku? Is Dasuki worse than Tinubu? Yet these men stroll around Aso rock like gods and a supposedly smart person comes here to yarn okpata! PMB is trying my foot!. What PMB is doing isn't any different from what OBJ did. Witch-hunting real and percieved enemies. For each of these men, we know he has a history..Dasuki from the 1983 coup, Dokpesi from the last election campaign. And trust me, Fayose would be next, that's how we fight corruption in Nigeria. That is 'Change' for you. And that is how our Nigeria would move forward right? Fighting corruption based on a personal vendetta. When will Buhari's judgement come to the door steps of IBB or even Abdulsami Abubakar and all those MILADS that stole Nigeria dry under both IBB and Abacha? That's story for another day. The structure of this country has been so designed to fail. Forget about your heavy heart. GEJ failed, OBJ failed, I would be surprised if there is any success in the next four years. Lai Mohammed would fill us up with propanganda and that would be all. What is our purpose as a nation? Does Nigeria even have one What is our Vision? Shared collective vision of the kind of nation we want to become Who are the leaders that would take us there? What are the clear figures as to what we want to achieve with agriculture, technology, health, manufacturing, power etc. I mean clear figure with scalable projections as to how we would get there. A working blueprint that all Nigerian can run with. This is not a party thing. America know where it wants to be in 2030, doesn't matter if its the democrats or republicans are in power. I do not support PMB. Never will. I will not support a man who rode on the back of corrupt men to come into power. A man who claims to have N30 million Naira (gotten from heaven knows where) and yet ran a campaign worth billions on Naira. Let him first give an account of how he sourced those monies, then we can ask the donors to also give an account of how they accessed such incredible funds. I support Nigeria! I have a great sympathy for Biafra but i am a Nigerian. In summary, these people care nothing for you and i. The sooner you realized that the better for your heavy heart! 3 Likes |

pharmagba: It tells how much frustration has welled up in me over the last 20 years in Nigeria.. now consider how the masses will react who are far deeper in frustration than I am. There is no room for allowing the building of weak foundations - History has shown time without fail a trend that allows seating public officials to continue in office without resigning when charged with a crime. A trend that shows that our Security agencies have an abysmal record solving high-profile political killings, a trend that shows that EFCC has a loud bark designed to shame criminals and not bite them. if not for the UK government and his quarrel with GEJ would we not see a strangle-hold on Delta Politics?.. wait. his cousin won elections into public office on the back of ibori's influence all the way from prison in UK.. Do you know how many Nigerians have died since the advent of democracy in Nigeria due to "Waiting for things to unfold" at one time OBJ was the Messiah, then Yaradua made such corruption was slowed, the GEJ became another messiah, now PMB is the new sherrif in town. THE FOUNDATION OF A HOUSE DETERMINES HOW WELL IT WILL STAND AGAINST THE STORMS. this administration's foundation is pitiably WEAK 1 Like 1 Share |

Corruption cannot be eliminated it can only be reduced. I am not a partisan and was not eligible to vote in the last election but all the same, lets be factual here. It is a known fact that the likes of OBJ who spent whooping amount of money on power and there was no outcome is corrupt . GEJ appealed to the senses of Nigerians with the I dont have shoe campaign. It was glaring that he was not matured for Presidency as of that time but was been controlled by unknown Cabals who left him after they have used him to loot the funds of Nigeria. PMB who failed to detail his asset is not actually left out. But I think he is better than GEJ. Tinubu-Jagaban, hmmmmm who will one to play with fire!!! With the High revenue he generated from Lagos he did nothing significant in quote. Fashola, 3 in 1 Minister really did not do anything extraordinary as people think because the internally generated revenue is alarming and cannot be compared to what he did. Nigerian politician saying he or she is not corrupt is like a prostitute saying she is a virgin. Even the youths that keep on screaming... Hmmmmm I reserve my comments. From SU leaders to departmental excos who amongst them can boast of clean sheet in offices. To make a Nigeria a better place is to make yourself a better person. I will love to stop here. |
