Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,
Seun (Founder Of Nairaland).

Seun....... who wrote this script for you?

Am not Igbo but i must say it is very wrong for seun to make this kind of rule
What happens to freedom of speech and expression? This is just like the social media bill that we are fighting against today
Denying a people the right to express themselves is wrong seun
Very wrong move

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you and then you win.

Seun we never forced you to put Biafra or IPOB topic in your frontpage but circumstances forced you to. Now you want to ban us for speaking our mind. Hahaha

The Scottish and catalans will be laughing at the mentality of the blackman who owns Nairaland. Nairaland is too small to stop Biafra. You shall get the result of your decision soon I assure you.

Monkeys and baboons berates the senate for the social media bill but clap for Seun for banning Biafrans. Pathetic! Lol

#IPOB #FreeNnamdiKanu.

you should grow up seun,
think twice,
are you the only founder of social media?
there are numerous social media forums where Biafra issues can be discussed.
you have proven that you are a tribalist.
what makes the difference between you and of American who called for banning all Muslims from entering America?
with your nairaland or not Biafra will come true.
Biafra was before nairaland and will continue even after the demise of nairaland.
I do t know why you guys over there in Africa is full of ego and pride.
just see the founder of Facebook and learn some lesson of socialism and humility.
if you like you can do me a favor by banning me forever

Mr Seun, Free speech is an inalienable right an you can't appropriate it for anyone so you are free to Ban me because i will definitely respond in equal measure on anyone that makes derogatory remarks on my convictions.

You should also create a Nairaland rule against Divorce since you fail to understand that Nigeria's amalgamation was nothing but a forceful marriage without the consent of the parties involved and the only way to get out from a marriage with an irreconcilable differences is through divorce which is universally acceptable and constitutional.

You call it secession but i call it Divorce.

Seun you can't fight any ideology with ban, bullets and violence. History is a great teacher. The colonial masters with supperior fire power could not stop the idea of INDEPENDENCE IN AFRICA. You need a better ideology to win.
The funny thing is that in the case of Biafra, you have a better ideology. Your tribe had once clamoured for it - TRUE FEDERALISM! That is the ANSWER. If you continue on this weak and foolish path of banning, you will end up making nairalanders fanatic about this biafra issue. Even business wise, it wouldn't help you. In a world where social media use issues like this to attract traffic on their site, you choose to do the opposite in the most irresponsible manner. I hope you don't regret this action.

You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.

What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss.

Seun dnt attempt this mistake

No I totally disagree with you, let's forget about the injustice side.
The poor lad his not being tribalistic.........only God knows the threat he has decided...Who knows. there rules and regulation in any social network sites like facebook,twitter...etc.
And if u can't comply by it you have the right to move else where and have your freedom of speech. And don't forget that nairaland his a product of his hard work and lively hood so I don't blame him if he generously guides it, in what some lads call being tribalistic!
Has I have said Seun does to have the right to barn any bodies freedom of speech but he has the right to barn comment that's seems harmful to his site....... you can move to face book, instagram etc
Naaa by force ; there his otherlands or create one yourself to promote such race and see where it lands you!
BIAS IS ALLOWED IN LIFE....
'AM A FEMALE AND I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THE FEMALE FOLKS'
'YOU'RE A MALE AND WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THE MALE FOLKS'

the above is just an example

'YOU ARE YORUBA AND WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THE YORUBA FOLKS NO MATTER HOW GLARINGLY ATROCIOUS IT IS'

I REFUSE TO FOLLOW SUITE

Biafra can not be defeated, it is an ideology. There are many other forum that allow the discussion of this GREAT NATION (BIAFRA) every day. Can this man ban any man that promote the interest of Yoruba race in this forum?

All the threat to withdraw from this forum is laughable. This man is the CEO of this forum. He has the prerogative to sieve the information that we feed our eyes on. Many forums are out there to promote the Biafra struggle, if Nairaland is saying no. The way some threads are created on this forum generate a lot of strife and hatred; either for or against. Enough of this jangbajantis grin

[size=13pt]Much as your decision is appreciated, it would be appreciated more if you do not insult the Ijaw people of the Niger delta by associating them (us) with that movement borne out of inferior thought, logic and reason and inspired by fraudulence and greed.

It is terribly insulting, the idea that Ijaws who have had their kingdoms for 100s of years before colonisation would take any direction based on the bidding of Igbos for whom it was the white man who came and installed warrant chiefs for colonisation purposes.

If we are to believe everything the Igbo man says, then we all will believe that Lagos is no man's land and that it is even the Igbo man that built lagos

Sentiments and bias of this nature, from the Otta local champion is the core reason this local seun can never be fit enough to clean Linda Ikeji's sandals. Imagine the effrontery to ban free speech because you buy domain name and pay for hosting and code a few python. You are silly Seun. I couldn't believe a social media practisioner is restricting free speech. Absolute rubbish from a nobody.

Hypocrisy is when you assent to no Biafra on nairaland but complain about the #SocialMediaBill.
I mean there is so much hate targeted towards people from the East and it cannot be out of place if they demand a country of their own

Seun, for the fact that you're on the saddle to this platform should not give you the privilege to gag the fundamental principles and right of free speech and opinion.

This is the height of impunity and stand condemned!
