Use the ones you have.
Your school/degree certificate, NYSC certificate, awards that you have gotten over the years can also serve. Family is one of the best (and commonly used) home ties and you have that. Use a family picture if you can.

View the post above.

Also, as a minimum read the whole of Part 9. At the rate of 20 pages per day, you should be done with it in nine days. This should get you started. You may then read Part 8 at your own pace after you have applied for admission and are preparing to apply for TRV.

Read read read. It will benefit you greatly. No one will spoonfeed you. Also, don't forget that Google is your friend.
I really don't like it when new people are told to go read previous post, tell them what you know and leave the rest. Thank you.

Hello house something strange was stated in my letter, it states i do not show sufficient relationship with sponsor. my sponsor did an affidavit of sponsorship and support and we both answer same surname. pls house kindly advice on how else to tackle this as it sounds strange because i dont know how else to prove relationship as we answer same name. sponsor is my brother.

3M is way too small. U have to tell ur sponsor to beef up his/her available balance or u get a co-sponsor.
If ur sponsor is not your parent, let him/her state the amount that he/she will be making available to you yearly.

When did u graduate and finish NYSC?
You told him 3M is way to small, and you ended up not telling him the okay amount in figures.

I'm certainly not sure, but I can remember 2/3 years back, in this forum people added old photos of them selves and their sponsor.. I personally didn't have do that cus my sponsor was my dad, who is your sponsor btw?

Thesoj telling him to read is one of the best advice he can give. You think thesoj and other people here will be so knowledgeable on Canadian visa application if they did not read previous posts? The guy was asking for everything ranging from list of universities to how to apply for admission to visa application. He simply gave him a link that contains all those information. Is that not enough?

@akmillion, I advise that if you want to put up a great application, read those links thesoj provided thoroughly. This will give you great insight. You can now come here to ask constructive questions when something is not clear to you.

Cheers

I think so. It is related. Research and familiarise with your chosen programme so you can explain your motive for choosing it to the VO in your SOP.
Look for common points in your first degree and use this as a point of reference for choosing your intended programme (e.g courses you did relating to health, safety or you can mention your final thesis topic as well if it had something to do with safety measures, disease prevention etc.).

I don't know what other reasons were ticked but I advise you concentrate on fixing those. You could easily obtain birth certificates of your brother and pictures to add in your next attempt.
Could be an oversight on part of the VO.

Oga siga I hail oo, but my uncle put his SOA in my application and a declaration letter. Tax clearance CAC documents and letter off sponsorship, it's a company sponsoring me. All he did was sign a declaration as the CEO..

Also, How do I deal the with the relationships that they ticked, cos he's my uncle not the same surname. So what do I do, should I just state in my SOP that he is my uncle and should I include his travel documents. Thanks for ur response and I also welcome other responses.

Even as i know Visa these days is 80% work and 20% God/Allah/Sango/Luck/anything you believe, these are My Tips for new TRV applicants based on my observation at vfs today.
1. Asides from stating in your SOP your purpose of studying the course and all, always try to find a summary like a sentence or two, you will need this to fill in your questionnaire, try and understand the difference between what is in naija and what is over there.
2. Get the right applicant form, download from the cic site, reason for this is, you might be filling an outdated form, happened to a friend today, he filled a 2014 form, instead of 2015 form, had to pay #3,400 to get new form at vfs.
3. Don't play with your admission letter, it is very important
4. don't play with your Receipt or Notification of fee payment
Reason for these tips above is that, today i noticed at the vfs office, The two IMME forms, Admission Letter, Fees receipt, Study permit questionnaire were stapled together, and when i asked, the attendant simply said, those are the first set of documents the VO reviews, that gives the VO heads up, even before your cover letter or intro letter (if he/she will read it anyway), after that the VO moves to your financial documents, and other additional documents. So please and please, filling your form carefully is very very important, and your answers on your study permit questionnaire is very important.

To prove he is ur uncle especially maternal since u don't have same surname, attach his Identity document, birth certificate, marriage certificate. Since he married ur mother's sister, attach ur parents marriage certificate, ur mom's identity document. That's a way to show the connect.

Documentation alone is not enough to prove ties to Nigeria. Many applicants use so many documents in the name of packaging but don't tell their personal story/narrative to tie all the documents together. A very well-written SOP can help the VO to understand why you would return to Naija. The SOP is a very strong yet often underestimated device.

By the way, a bad SOP with incoherent points and grammatical errors is worse than not having an SOP.

Thanks for the input, I think i have been passing the wrong idea, in my application I stated that a company was sponsoring me, I didn't state it was owned by my maternal uncle. Pls pardon me with my questions, thanks for ur input in advance.
How do I show relationship with the company?
Must I work with a company first before I can be supported?
Can't a company sponsor who they want provided they have funds?

Anyways, they plan to employ me wen I come back from school since my discipline suits the needs of the company. Would this add anything positive to the application if they state this cos they didn't state it in the first app, they tot that since they have provided a declaration letter, CAC, tax clearance and SOA, That it was enough.

Please all the gurus and members in this forum, ur input is appreciated. Thanks.
