A résumé is shorter, maximum of 3 pages. A CV is more detailed and comprehensive.
A résumé contains just about 4 to 5 sections. Namely; profile/objective, educational qualification, work history and professional affiliation. While a CV includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details. A cover letter is different from these two documents. It’s usually a 1-page document accompanying a résumé, which purpose is to indicate interest in a job position, provide additional details that are not included on a résumé and market the applicant’s skills.   From what I've learned, CV is the same as Résumé in Nigeria (cause most people including employers don't know the difference). I hope this helps.
Kbs468:

Better, As a personal relationship with GOD is strongly advised for all and sundry, that shouln't again inhibit a mutual relationship with fellow mortals just like we are doing here.
Now talking about mutual relationship, as a Minister of Education (state) Golden City Republic and a graduate of English Language(specialties), also considering that U might end up lecturing rather than teaching in a secondary school, can U differentiate btw a COVER LETTER, RESUME AND CV? Indicating clearly the basic ingredients of each as ur response will go along way in assisting alot of Golden City graduates cum potential employees and employers among them as well as visitors alike.
Thank You.
P.S: I choosed to embark on this form of fun because I noticed U to be someone who is more interested in showcasing her academic intellectual prowess as a genuine Dramatic experience and nothing else.
Oluwafirefunmi well done work.

I'd say I have a way with words so I'll handle the 'telling her' part but well, you win! That'll definitely be me conceding defeat to my fear that YOU want to sniff around LOL...

BTW, y'all would have many visitors here soon tho. My little advice to y'all? Lower your expectations! NYSC isn't as exciting as it seems! Anyway, its not about you, its about service to the nation so... cheesy

Very good submission and on point all through but I wont stop here because the fun had just began.
>Employers of labour in Nigeria both public and private alike usually claim that Nigerian graduates are unemployable with their conclusion usually sterning from poor CV/RESUME and/or COVER LETTER presentation as a first impression provider owing to the poor lecturing and grooming tendencies, would you like to be a vanguard of change to these and other lapses in the course of learning accomplishment of graduates?
>If yes can you lead by example through giving a template or a sampled outline even if it is a hand written one and upload a snapshot?
