berexio1: Thank you for this. I think you should ask questions instead of brickbats (ask for elucidation). MR KNOW-ALL, please help yourself by moving away from the past and if you see any comments, ask questions before OUTBURSTING or IMPLEMENTING. I hope that helps you. Cheers |

Please can we stop!!! This forum is all about sharing of ideas and helping one of us, nobody knows it all, not even the VO. Its becoming a pain reading your posts and the replies being given, please if I may ask, is there any award for the most enlightened in Nairaland? So why all these, why the continued exchange of words, we are better grow up, or else we would have ended up scaring a new comer. Kind words must be used at all times. Objections are allowed but it must be done with respect. Regards. Jesusgang: 1 Like |

berexio1:Hello @berexio really appreciate ur input here and I understand what u mean, also @Jesusgang I also appreciate ur input. Your inputs are required by me. By the way, I am not in a hurry, I would reapply February by the special Grace of God. I just want to start gathering my documents to refire. So I need to know what I need to do and what I shouldn't do. Since I am reapplying, 1.do I still use the Same soa. (I do not want any ambiguities in my application). 2. Since I am addressing the issues ticked in my delay correspondence letter, should I attach it to my next application or it isn't necessary. I appreciate ur response in advance. |

freezingus: Thank you @freezingus, you have made a good comment. I think questions should be asked when not clear on a particular comment. False accusations and rude words are very bad and denting. We should ask questions on comments, develop new ideas and together achieve our common aim (T.R.V) 1 Like |

BVNO: You will honestly need to do a good job convincing the VO why s/he should allow you go to Canada to study a course that is totally not related to your current occupation. You're going for Engineering Management, you studied computer engineering and you're working as a business development executive........ it is kind of complicated and honestly if I were to be the VO, I'd either believe you lied about your job and in fact not employed, or assume you won't return to Nigeria after your study in Canada, because the program you're going to study in Canada is TOTALLY NOT RELATED and will not add to your existing role where you currently work. So what is the point of going for a program that will not boost your chances of being promoted. Which means you'd probably not return to the job after your program......which also indirectly means you'd be job hunting. So tell me why you'd want to return to a country where 1 out of 500 graduates gets job without knowing anyone. I don't know if you understand me, but I wish you do, because if you don't, you may have issues of "purpose of visit" and "length of proposed stay". I'm not an angel of doom, but I think it's better you know these little things that though can easily be tackled but give applicants serious problems and make it look like one witch in the village is after them. About your son, his fate depends on you, his chances are good once yours as the principal applicant is good, you may only need to show more available funds. Don't be scared by my long sermon (lol), just prepare a good Letter of Explanation, to explain to the VO why you wanna study that course. It has to be convincing. I wish you all the best. 5 Likes |

OTUNBACODED: Sorry about that. However it is not strange, I've heard people having issues with proving relationship with sponsors. How did you fill the "sponsor column" on your study permit app? How good was your sponsorship letter? I didn't do no affidavit and my sponsor is not yoruba talk less of having same surname. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ayooluwatoni(m): 4:45pm On Dec 12, 2015 |
ikem01: Your case is not too complicated. It's basically about your sponsor's financial standing and about your own. If your sponsor's soa was good, then it could be that the VO didn't believe s/he would actually sponsor you. Which means, you should work on your sponsorship letter, if your sponsor is not your dad/mum, you should make the VO understand why s/he will be expending so much fortune on you, and also state the exact amount that would be given to you, put his/her Name on the sponsor column in your study permit application and also think of other things that would make the VO believe you. Also work on your personal asset. I'm guessing you must have stated in your application you were working or had study gap, so you should show proof of what you've been doing since you graduated. I wish u all the best 3 Likes |

Yes he typed that "By the way, a bad SOP with incoherent points and grammatical errors is worse than not having an SOP" and he's on point with that. There has been some application that flies without any SOP, so you can keep it simple if you are not sure instead of cimplicating issue. Jesusgang: 3 Likes 1 Share |

A quick question House. How can you fix an error whereby a VO misunderstood your previous travel history. I submitted copies of my visas and documentation of my previous trip, stamps of immigration in and out, yet I cannot understand why the VO would state such on my gcms note. See attached picture.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ayooluwatoni(m): 1:56am On Dec 13, 2015 |
ikem01: Of course not. 4 months is not too much. You have to check your form again and be sure you filled it correctly, maybe you gave the VO an impression that you've been working. Did you submit your personal soa? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ayooluwatoni(m): 1:58am On Dec 13, 2015 |
NaD720: May I know the countries you've visited? Because some countries/visas don't really count. |
