hariorh: Well, we can't really judge them until they are in thesame shoes. But I think Mourinho performed well in Porto with similar situations. |

LogoDWhiz:Which history are you talking about? History of Arsenal Football Club? Arsene is Arsenal's history himself. He is Mr Arsenal. |

Spy360: So, are you trying to say it's the players that make the managers? Mourinho might be a fraud but he has titles to back it up. Lemme give u a scenario. Imagine 2 kids. One attends a rich kid school and the other an average kid school. When the two meets in a competition, the rich kid floors the average kid. Would you say the performance of the rich kid in the competition is simply based on the fact that he attends a rich kid school and that the performance of the average kid is based of the fact that he attends an average school? |

LogoDWhiz:Ok let me be clear. Van Gaal did it with Ajax in '95. Kudos to him. But Mourinho was oppportunistic with Porto. Monaco had knocked out Madrid sensationally only for Mou to reap the rewards. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by hariorh: 1:04pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
LogoDWhiz: Mou won't succeed like that again with the current crop of teams in Europe at the moment. He's a top coach but at the moment... #mediocre |

Spy360: Which one is opportunistic again? He won the competition and that's the fact. You can't take that away. Let Arsenal too be opportunistic and win the Champions League. You are the one who is preaching "Give credit to whom it's due", yet you don't want to accord Mourinho his credit. 1 Like 1 Share |

Spy360: History of the time Mr. Arsene Wenger spent at Arsenal. I don't think I should continue arguing with you! How old is Arsenal? How many years has Wenger spent here? How would you claim he's Arsenal when you compare the two factors above? What about if Wenger leaves? Arsenal dies with him? #clowns |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by LogoDWhiz(m): 1:13pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
Spy360: You're mistaken my analogy. My analogy is simply to let you know that irrespective of your background, you can still make it. So, you want to tell me rich kids who attend rich schools don't fail or average kids who attend average schools can't make it. The background might you in becoming a great person, but only for those who are ready. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 1:13pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
Bornemouth has defeated both Chelsea and Man Utd within 7days even though they had by far a less superior team to both and are even more injury ravaged than both. Eddie Howe deserves credit whether he eventually wins the title or not. At least he deserves credit and not castigation. That is the point. 1 Like |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by LogoDWhiz(m): 1:15pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
hariorh: At the moment, Mourinho is passing through a dark time. Same with Van Gaal. But their records speak for them. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by LogoDWhiz(m): 1:19pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
Spy360: I understand the meaning of 'advantage'. And I've made that clear. But the point you're missing is that, even with the advantage a student who isn't brilliant/intelligent will still fail. And a brilliant/intelligent student with no advantage can still excel. But when a student with an advantage who is brilliant faces a student with no advantage and is brilliant, then you should expect a student with advantage to excel. That's my analogy |

LogoDWhiz:History? How come Mourinho has never received any ovation from any of the club he has managed when he left. He doesn't even have that connection with any club. Look at how Sir Alex Ferguson was celebrated. Let it be known that Wenger would be highly celebrated whenever he decides to leave. He is like a family to the club now, he has written his name in the history books of the club a state of the art stadium and a training ground were constructed under his management. Raised fund for the club by ensuring he participates in the UCL and getting to the knock out stages with young stars. Do you think he doesn't want trophies? wenger sacrificed his personal ambition for long term sustainability of the club. Ever wondered why he's not pressurised and gets the backing of the board even when fans are wailing. Wenger's name will always be remembered bro. 2 Likes |

Let me help you, LogoDWhiz. Advantage is having the array of stars as Chelsea, advantage is also having to spend £300million in a team, including the luxury of paying £58m for a teenager. What if Mourinho is manager of Arsenal with Giroud as his main striker? What if LvG could only spend £11million and that on a goalie? Here is the result. If Tottenham wins today, Man Utd would drop to 5th having already exited the CL. Even Chelsea defeats Leicester on Monday which I strongly doubt, they will still be 15th on the log. A win for Arsenal today takes us top of the league having scaled through to the knockout phase of the CL. Wenger deserves credit. Wenger >> LvG + Mourinho 3 Likes |

Mourinho is after personal glory! Reason he works with big clubs that are ready to spend. Takes the praises and glory to himself when the team wins (I'm the special one talk). Blames the players, wenger, ref, team doctor, fa except himself when the team performs below par. Isn't it obvious that he's just after personal glory? 2 Likes |

kokaneprodigy: I don't know why Arsenal fans hate Mourinho this much. The two names you mention to buttress your point (Wenger and Ferguson) have spent more than 10 years in their respective clubs. Why then won't he be remembered. Mourinho has never spent up to 4 years in a particular club. But still he will remembered for the trophies he brought to them. Are you joking about the bolded statement? You want to tell me you're ignorant of the praises being showered on Mourinho by his ex-teams? 1 Like |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by LogoDWhiz(m): 1:44pm On Dec 13, 2015 |
kokaneprodigy: You're only picking the points that will help your arguement while neglecting the more obvious point that negates your arguement. Mourinho is a human being. You go for the best in life. If you have the chance to work in a better firm with better conditions, won't you jump at it? But you wouldn't have earned that position if you are not good. Moreso, Mourinho do take the blame to himself. There is nothing bad in singing your own praises. He can call himself whatever he wants, it's the product of his achievements. |

LogoDWhiz:Is it the same mourinho, that fans were happy when he left Madrid? Or the one that will be embarrassed out of epl sooner or later.? Which club will allow mourinho stay for 10years? Unless they wanna go broke. Buy buy and buy he can't groom. At the rate Van Gaal is spending at Man-u do you think he won't run them down in few years time? which club will keep such for ten years. 1 Like |

Spy360: You and I both know that football is not like that. Wenger could be performing badly if he his is Mourinho's shoes and Mourinho would be doing well in Wenger's shoes. We can't judge like that. Except it happens. And the little time it happened to Mourinho and Van Gaal, you know how they performed. |

LogoDWhiz:Hahahaha, you must be reading the back pages of Ikebe Super. Mourinho cannot stay in a club for more than 3years because they SACK HIM. They sack him because after ruining the club financially, performance dwindles. He then finds another club to ruin. Recently he was whining about Wenger's longevity at Arsenal, he wondered why one could stay at a particular club for 20years. He then requested same from Chelsea and was given a 4year contract. Presently, with what is happening to him, he should have a better understanding, that it takes a genuis to manage a club for 5years with success talkless for 2=years. Shout out to Sir Alex Ferguson- Mr Legend. 4 Likes |
