Naija soldiers are only good for road blocks.

Nigerian Army may not be good wen it comes to shooting, planning, making or using guns but they're very good at begging. Saying a beg we get wife and pikin at home and our Ashewo's are everywhere in d country.

We're battling boko haram at the moment, as if that were not enough we've now invited the shiites to come join the war party.

2016 is indeed going to be very difficult even without the naira in free fall.

Propaganda

The military should be careful with citizens of Nigeria

We don't want to witness a justified terrorism caused by reckless abuse of citizens rights.

And he couldn't go back from where he is coming from than to order the massacre of unarmed civilians he is meant to protect.

Is there no other road, a bypass other than wasting civilians lives?

I still don't understand why a bunch of people, shiites or sunni or whatever would feel they have the right to stop the nation's chief of staff from passing through. undecided So the COAS should seek their permission before being able to move freely in broad daylight in Nigerian territory. Incredible!

COAS IS A STRONG ADVOCATE FOR peaceful military-civil relationship & respect 4 human right

IbnSultaan is clearly a spokesman for the establishment, and no doubt in a government insider. One would not expect impartiality from him. His use of cliche phrases like "COAS IS A STRONG ADVOCATE FOR peaceful military-civil relationship & respect 4 human right" tells it all. If you are a paid pressman, IbnSultaan, please remember to state your interest as a footnote.

On to my opinion, if the COAS's convoy was blocked, and the youth refused to listen to his plea, it is still not an excuse to take laws into your hands and kill a Nigerian. The soldier's firearm is not meant for internal policing. He should have called in the law enforcement agency whose duty it is to handle such issues - which is the Nigerian Police.

I maintain, for the record, that he has no right whatsoever to deploy his firearms in the shooting of Nigerians, even if they are criminals.

If Buhari does not punish this COAS, then it is becoming clear that he has no interest in building our institutions.

We are watching.
