I use this medium to appeal to Buhary and APC, to as a matter of urgency introduce a more effective and human friendly monetary policy.

We cannot continue like this, agreed, Nigeria has fully slides into recessesion, we can still get our country back.

Likewise:

We implore all the looters across the 36 states of the federation and FCT, all those who had contact with 'SECURITY VOTES' while in office to please return the loots in their custody.

Buhary should please use the Pareto Principle, the 80/20 rule.

Fight corruption 20 percent, focus on the economy and the future 80 percent.

His approach of fighting perceived corrupt elements does not amount to fighting corruption, you fight corruption by blocking all potential loop holes, thereby discouraging the 60' in the 20-60-20 rule of fraud.

God help Nigeria.

Buhari don't know how to create wealth outside oil.

Unfortunately, Jonathan whose team can still think outside the box, has being booted out by ethno religious zombies.

You are good at making me laugh. Your threads are always opened on emotional tantrums and needs no serious effort to diffuse. I didn't see this earlier as you didn't spell my moniker properly wink

Let me ask you a simple question: Can you mention one possible consequence to a nations's economy the scenario of a central bank so loose that $47m was withdrawn in cash stacked in suitcases in this 21st century of Cashless banking and transaction?

This by no less than the office of the NSA?

Hehehehe

You lot see women as feeble and emotional even my font type looks emotional, so I'm not surprised that you can't reason beyond that to see that I've asked Valid and Commensensical questions.

As for the scandals rocking certain individuals in our ‎polity, they remain innocent until proven guilty and jailed through a competent court of law.

That said, ‎I believe that some of these funds you lot term looted weren't looted actually... But due to leadership decisions by Jonathan which maybe buhari in his thoughts thinks inadequate, he will term same fraud...

Leaders make decisions especially when under threat security wise...without waiting for house appropriation...(the clandestine purchase of arms and weaponry come to mind).

So legally Dasuki can pass on...but because Buhari wants him down, so he may find it difficult.

I believe some money was stolen but it is far below the figures they are taunting around

Btw,  why is that stories like this come up whenever there's an economic mess coming up... So APC can use it to shield themselves from blame? And to divert attention‎?

What if the aim of all this is for APC to make PDP look bad?‎
Aren't we all playing into their game if we appear self-defeatist?

That's it exactly!! Make PDP the fall guy...when as a matter of fact, there are worse shameless looters in APC masquerading as Navigators, Ministers and Chieftains.

In governance, decision taking whether right or wrong isn't a crime.‎
Whatever decision taken by Jonathan was for Nigeria interest no matter how flawed it may appear.‎

Not taking decision at all is what is a crime.

That's why Jonathan can not go to jail unless under some unscrupulous script by VERY HIGHLY powerful beings greater than him, including Okonjo Iweala.

That said, I will shave all my eyebrows, go without make up for days, and plait irun kiko on my head AND apologise profusely if Buhari prosecutes the likes of Tinubu, OBJ and Amaechi.‎

What we need is a total overhaul. An overhaul in the faces and operators of our government.
Period!

This question is directed at my Sai Chanting Buharist Brothers...

If PDP looted Nigeria dry and things found a way to work...at least, better than what we have now, what then is wrong? Why isn't there a change now that there are no more "looters"

Don't even quote me to tell me APC is cleaning shiit or mess, else I will dash you an e-slapgrin

But if you insist, kindly tell me how they are cleaning this mess.
What exactly are they doing? What are the indices to judge what they've mopped up so far, also tell us the expected or existing impact on the masses as far as the cleaning is concerned.

Whenever there's a cleaning going on, it is expected that progress would be made, and no matter how miniscule, the affected parts feel it. Pray tell, what is the word on the streets today? Is there any sector of the populace genuinely applauding Buhari?

Answers Please.
Thanks.

Oya! Dash me an e-slap....

How do you expect any serious work to be done with a budget that was not planned by them in the face of dwindling income? The moat they can do is manage and hop on.
Remember that as far back as 2014, NOI had said the country was broke and no one did anything serious.

We need to change out handover date to around september so at least the year will almost be over even if a new government is coming in.

Oh look up NEPA!

There you go again...what has being female got to do with the emotional basis of your thread?? Remember you and i went down this road some few days ago when you opened a similar thread asking for where Buhari kept N334B you believed he skimmed off the N713.7B bailout money?? Of course you and i eventually arrived at the same conclusion: BUHARI DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING FROM THE BAILOUT MONEY. I advised you then to always exercise patience in situations like this.

During the era of Idi Amin Dada in Uganda, They had an economic crises with inflation at 700%. You know what Idi Amin's order was to the Central bank governor? PRINT MORE CASH!!. And of course printing more cash without the economic fundamentals to back it up leads to gross distortion in the fiscal and monetary environment of a nation.

The problem with the GEJ govt isn't just the looting. They looted under OBJ too. It wasn't improper handling of security votes....every politician does that. the most damaging feature of the GEJ years was the MINDLESSNESS with which they did their looting without regard for it's effect on our monetary policy or fiscal well being. Dasuki woke up one day and requested $47M CASH and Emefiele simply created an expense head for it in CBN and voila....the cash was delivered. How was that sum factored into the cash in circulation at that time? Dasuki came again and said he needed N10B for party faithfuls and Emefiele obliged. What damage do you think that did to whatever monetary policy was in place at that time? All these at a time when GEJ ANNOUNCED THAT HE WAS INSTITUTING TECHNOLOGY THAT WOULD ENSURE THAT THE YAMS ARE SEPARATED FROM THE GOATS!!? I don't know how true, but my former colleague who is now a zonal operations head at one of the banks in abuja said they ran out of dollars some weeks to the elections because of excess mopping up.

The last time we had such was under Abacha with ISMAILA GWARZO, the then NSA but even at that, it wasn't this much and Abacha as wicked as he was ensured only a select few had access to the yams then. GEJ your hero gave every willing goats duplicate keys to the barn so much so that they ran out of names to use that Bafarawa tagged his own ''for spiritual purposes". They didn't even need to come ask him anymore. Just go there and collect your own.

I'm not happy with the current govt. I believe they are slow. I want things to move at a faster pace but it's only someone with his/her head too deep into his/her ass that will expect any miracle with oil, our only source of FX, down to 25% of its value of a year ago. This budget was drawn on the basis of $65/barrel. Can you tell me how much oil is being sold now? Has Buhari drawn up his own budget?

You guys, especially you, have your minds made up and are only too happy to see things go worse. So i'm sure you celebrate when you queue for 5 hours to buy fuel or when you buy it at N150 if you don't like to queue while conveniently forgetting that part of the subsidy paid last week was arrears from August 2014. In as much as i'm not happy with the pace, I'LL FOREVER BE HAPPY AND PROUD THAT I WAS PART OF THOSE WHO HELPED PUSH OUT A MAN WHO WAS TOO WEAK AND TOO TIMID TO STOP HIS FRIENDS AND SUBORDINATES FROM MESSING UP HIS GOVT.

It wasn't his fault anyway....Na OBJ Satan go punish for forcing him on the sick Yar'adua.

my write up is long....i hope you take the time to read it.

cheers

What about TheVoice, StOla and Rawani?

Ehen, Obailala, where are you?

Don't tell me you're avoiding this thread.

Now would be a good time to give Nigerians an expose on the questions asked above.

I believe we have addressed these issues in the recent past...

The challenges are immense, but you should recognize, appreciate and acknowledge the degree of the rot you handed over as well.

Who failed to solve the electricity problem which we have inherited, and failed to restore the refineries and instead wasted billions of dollars in scam off-shore processing agreements which Diezani and co. used to fleece this country, ultimately causing perennial fuel scarcities all through his tenure? The aftermath is what we live with today.

Who failed to diversify our economy from oil in the time of oil-price boom, and emptied our foreign reserves through a combination of corruption and incapacity to lead which ended in him being tricked by his governors to share the SWF? The DIRECT aftermath of these are the economic troubles we are facing today under low oil prices, and high exchange rates which our efforts to control is resulting in our ejection from bond indexes.

Who supervised the looting and mismanagement of of the defence budget through his aides (Dasuki n co.) which seriously hampered the fight against BH, and resulted in the loss of thousands of lives? The failure to fight the terrorists with political will and sincerity, resulted in their blossoming and is the reason we are still fighting them today.

You see, while we are not blind to the realities that face us today, its is an insult to conscience, logic and common sense for the same set of people that wanted all of the above and more to continue till 2019, to come and pontificate about good governance while condemning a President that inherited these challenges just seven months ago.

Put simply, you lack the moral capital to admonish or condemn Buhari or Buharists.

Enjoy your evening smiley.
