There has always been exceptional strikers with different characteristics.
Drogba is a modern striker, but he can't play so much with the ball, but he was deadly nonetheless.
Look at you mentioning R9, Henry
Those guys were aggressive strikers who weren't on the same level with Benz in anyway.

How many times have you seen Benz score from outside the 18 yard box?
How many difficult goals does he score?
People say he is world class, but where are the world class goals? (Just watch Suarez's goals for adequate comparison)
