IbnSultaan: The one problem with Nigerians especially Muslims, is that they are difficult to see reasons with you especially when your action is contrary to the rituals. Christians can tolerate certain things so far they can continue with what they are doing afterwards. For God's sake, this incident could have been cleary avoided if the Shiitees had given the convoy of the COAS free passage from the onset. They clearly out of illiteracy doesn't know what The Chief of Army Staff represents. How can you stand in front of a fast moving train and expect not to be crushed? A clear look at the picture can tell you that the representatives of the group addressing the Army personels were proving stubborn. Take a look at the guy tying scarf and the one in red jacket. Nevertheless, the COAS should please call his men to order. |

IbnSultaan: Don't care explaining to dem their minds are made up! If the military refused to take action they would have said it was because they are Muslims now the military has taken action and they are now unharmed civilians. Anything against PMB is welcome. They will even support Fulani, Hausa,Yoruba as long as its against PMB. |

Should in case these Muslims decide to start their new round of terrorism, I think they should direct all their grievances towards all the military barracks in their area and forgive the civilians..........thanks |
Re: Photo:nigeria Army Officers Pleading With Shiites Yesterday To Stand Down by Rafidi: 2:01pm On Dec 14, 2015 |
meccuno: Shias are not Wahhabis. They don't go around killing civilians in churches and mosques. Shias themselves are victims of terrorism the world over. And for those lying about warning shots and then claiming they were pleaded with, does all that justify killing hundreds of people ? Is the Nigerian army made up of children who kill people over who should pass first? You liars and supporters of crimes against humanity should make up your mind. It is either they were pleaded with or they wanted to assassinate the army chief. It can't be both. How could the army have pleaded with evidently, as the pic shows, unarmed Trekkers of men, women and children, and still sell the BS that the army chief was under assassination attempt? You have killed them and you still lie against the dead. Is the NA becoming a gossip columnist interpreting events and spreading gist to suit their mood? This is shameful. And the international community is watching. Even in New York and London Shiites hold processions. Why should they be killed in Nigeria? And all of a sudden northerners are law abiding citizens who don't block roads. You need to go to Agege and other places and see how Sunnis block roads on Fridays. Churches do the same on Sunday's. Yet no one is killed. Jonathan's convoy used to be stones in the north and the almajiris would boast about it. No one uses to be shot. What is happening? Genocide against harmless Shias is not justified in Nigeria. Nigeria is not a Wahhabi state. Nigerians should be free to choose their beliefs , even if that means all Nigerians become Shia Muslims. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Rafidi: I feel your pain but you're forgetting one very important fact; it's the NA. Who born you to even talk back when you're been abused by one. There are more civilized options than the shootout but then I know most young guys in the north are criminally challenged and would dare the NA. It's a pity. |

vyvime3: Did you read the title of the thread? So soldiers were "pleading" with suicide bombers?! Nonsense!!! Who even believes Nigerian soldiers would plead with civilians? And after pleading they killed hundreds! And the killings took place at three locations and after the army chief has passed. Keep justifying state terrorism. Soon it would be your own turn. |

I suggest the OP lets the NA Media do their job. Don't (mis-)represent the Army and information it officially wants to release to the public. This picture could be anything, just anything subject to different interpretations |
