for me gionee s plus. Octa core nuh heavy.. Beautiful design.... But if u want a really big battery and u dnt mind d phone being heavy u cud go 4 d m5

Thats a dope GPU that are found in the Samsung Galaxy j7, which I have used, A8, S5, HTC desire, Lenovo vibe, the up and coming infinix note 2, Phantom 5, tecno camon c8 etc and all other top noch devices.. (especially flagship)

The IHN, HOT 2, Zero, Innjoo, do not have such graphics property instead they possess a GPU of mali 450 which is lower.

Ever wondered why as much as c8 sucks in multitasking, it still played fifa 16 flawlessly while the Almighty IHN did not.. Good GPU was one of the reasons bro..!

The M5 is Open GL 3.1 ES which means the device is ready for games to come in the future like my beloved up and coming Asphalt 9 I think I should start a blog

Ive had a hard time deciding between this two phones also, why dont we decide on a winner based on the following?

1. Design/Finishing
2. Size/Weight
3. Camera/Picture/Display/Video quality
4. Battery
5. Multitasking Performance/ heating up issues
6. Special features
7. Audio/Call quality
8. Network/Wifi
9. HD games handling
10. Internal/SD Memory + expansion

I think those should suffice, lets declare a winner boys

For me, in terms of design/finishing, S+ is a clear winner

Still rocking my BB10 phone (Q5), although ive downgraded a bit
I just need a good Android phone as backup phone.

Both device are great but I will still choose GIONEE M5 over S Plus. Below is a screen shot of battery after almost 17 hour. The only con is just that its a bit heavy. Apart from that, GIONEE finish work for the phone head. Super Amoled HD screen. Movies /Games so crystal clear.

I tell you.. M5 is bette over s+.
The points may not be much.
Tho the m5 plus is coming.. Lets see what that have install for us.

There are gazillions of android phones to choose from but don't forget updates ooo when you decide to pick up one

lol...the Q5 is growing on me, i quite like it . But i hope to get the Z30 or Passport someday. Ive been following the Chinese smart phone market, lots of prospects and too many to chose from, so im taking my time to decide which best suite me. I have a few in mind, just waiting for the right one

Are yummy sure about this? i just checked. The buttons of the Gionee S plus are there all the time even when the phone is off. Are you saying Gionee took part of the screen with permanent hardware (touch capacitive) buttons ?

My bad.. Its not onscreen buttons.. The graphics on the bezels on websites made it look like it was an onscreen button

I went for the gionee m5 because of the build and it's battery. It feels very solid with its metal construction. It balances well with its weight. Feels expensive in the hand.

I tink I will go.4 d s+. My reason being dat it has a gorrila glass3, its super slim & light 4 a fone of 5.5nch. I personally hate screen guards nor protection. I lov my fone screen appearing d way it is. It also has an amoled display same like.d m5. Dnt really giv a Bleep about type c charger. But it wud b fun using face unlock.. lastly. D gionee s+ according 2 gsmarena has a 3gig ram. But d ones in naija has 2gig ram. Dnt kno hw tru dat is by d way. I learnt dat d s+ is superior 2d m5 aesthetically.
