sure u can applied poultry manure to ur plantain root but make sure u create space for it ooooo. are u wetting the plantain plant or u are doing mechanized irrigation?.

I've not watered for up to three weeks now coz the water pump summo is spoiled. I'm considering buying water from tankers, but I've not yet watered. Is it bad not to water?? What about weeding How often should I water the plantains

well it depend on how u want to water the plantain but u know we are in the harmattan season so pls they need much water this period cos' the leaves may be dried if u are not wetting it oooooooooo.make sure u repair ur pump on time ok.

waoooo that's great bro well for now am planting plantain. am not in the farm presently but i av a worker that's monitoring the place. presently am intercropping it with yam cos' of more land space and to improve the root to be strong when they are growing fast.for i have not start watermelon cos' of harmattan period i will try it next yr.well bro for training am busy for now, well i will be organizing training seminar next yr i will inform u here thks. if i may ask do u av land, how many acres of land ?
