Thank you sir, but what happen to self respect.?

He messed up big time, if he had honoured their request am sure he wouldn't be roughed handled.

Equity =clean hands.
I get your drift sir but I still think that's not enough reason to manhandle him. Let the law manhandle him.
We know what happens in saner societies. Difficult suspects are tasered or stunned to humble them, and that's only when they pose a threat to arrest or the safety of the officers.
We need to learn to respect and treat ourselves, if we don't respect ourselves, we'd remain as garbage in the eyes of the whites and they'd equally treat us as garbage.

If you do not have a valid point to counter a reasonable point, it will do you good to just keep ur trap shut.
How dare you address him that way, Is your father half his match? You cow!

What is your profit after complaining for on behalf of ex-nimasa?
And now that FFK is not careful by refusing to dance to your ironic tone, wouldn't you make His case to come up?

FFK claimed to be a lawyer, but forgot that under Habeas corpus, a person can lawfully be 're-arrested after being granted bail in respect to another charge or offense. It's equally unlawful for anyone to resist an arrest with a warrant and your lawyers even aiding and abetting such action, when they should encourage you not to and follow you to the EFCC office to ascertain what the new charge were.

Bless you once again. I respect your position. And concur. The way we treat ourselves matters alot.

Nigeria law enforcement agencies need to learn to do things in a mannerly order.

God bless this nation

Nigerians should be weary of the things they support. Whether Rich or poor protocol must be adhered to. EFFC abusing court orders and we are shouting change. Dont forget how things usually turn out to become culture in Nigeria. Even as we want prosecution of looters we want it the right way and unsectional.

All these arrests and detentions have not yeilded any result, our economy is worse off since they APC came to power,Buhari is applying crude method in recovering stolen money, now these men who had stolen so much will gang up and fight him. Moreover he is fighting his political opponents. He should be fair and balance, and don't think these men will just be watching him. Buhari apply wisdom.

this is very simple to understand, his lawyer was present, it means he is being arrested for another crime relating to the initial one, he knows better than to resist arrest, he messed up and he is fortunate they were gentlemen.

All these people mentioning US and "saner" climes. If police tries to arrest, you oblige and if you try to resist they apply force, though minimal. People should understand "Law and Rights" cos must people who claim rights dont even understand the Laws.
Moreover a common man undergoes this each and every day so I don't know why a common man would lend it's voice for the elites who cares less about them and most importantly rape the economy blind without conscience.
There is no such thing as Total Freedom (there are boundaries/limits), if there is anything of such then it will be a case of what is called "ideal machines" which is not realistic. Once you pass your boundary, there will be reaction.

what stops them from re-inviting him...the truth is most Nigerians are just jealous of each other..you think your poverty is caused by others ...

Trust me chief, in any part of the world, if you're apprehended by the police and you refuse to follow them gently, you will be whisked away. They won't pamper or beg you into following them, provided there is a warrant of arrest. He should have just gone with them first, then contacted his lawyer or something. There was no way this wouldn't have ended the way it ended with his attitude.

What outrage?
If Nigerians want to embark on an outrage about how PDP destroyed Nigeria I am sure FFK will be in a far away land and not twitting this nonsense.

The security agents for FFK's notice had their warrant of arrest which was shown to the former DG but dude was acting the usual Nigerian big man way by saying he is going no where.
Well, we all knew what happened he was moved somewhere which he deserves by resisting arrest that was duly warranted.

NIGERIANS UNITE!!! A MUST READ

First they came for the Igbos killing millions in the name of biafra war, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not Igbo.

Then they came for the Niger Deltans, killng thousands in the name of fighting militancy and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Niger Deltan.

Then they came for the Hausas, killing thousands in the name of fighting insurgency and I did not speak out—
Because I am not Hausa.

They will soon come for me, the Yorubas —and no one will be left to
speak for me.

It's a prophecy . . by antibiafra

Most of the comments above show that we Nigerians nay Africans have lost all sense of what makes us humans, we'd rather take up animal like orientation.
No matter the offense of a suspect, he is presumed innocent before the law till the law states otherwise. Even when proven guilty, we still have to respect human dignity.
Even the whites don't treat hardline terrorists and criminals the way we treat suspects,,, yet many would come on here and hail and jeer at this animalistic behavior. That's why we're always inferior to the whites, because our orientation is basically flawed and alien.

All we have been told is that he was granted bail. No media house has reported what the bail conditions are so we can't be sure that he has fulfilled them. Also, the use of mild force is totally legal anywhere in the world.

Some APC/Buharist apologist ll not see anything bad in this undemocratic treatment. Till ll tell
I had witnessed a lady burnt alive at Onitsha main market in 1989 for stealing a roll of female bra. Yes, a bra! Something I will never forget. Crime in Onitsha was so bad that Onitsha residents formed their own security force through the market association and took the fight to the criminals head on. Within 2 years Onitsha was so peaceful again because either criminals are dead or had relocated to other states. It was called operation "BOYS OH YEAH"

Compared that burnt lady's offense to what this guy was accused of stealing from your yet unborn grand children?
There is no comparison. The level of impunity in Nigeria is so bad and deep that it cannot be addressed with a human right gloves. Human rights are for humans. These men and women are not humans but monsters. Every aggressive cancer requires an aggressive treatment to stand any chance of remission.

Can you just imagine an ordinary robbers trying to resist a lawful arrest with a lawful warrant, what the police would have done with him and in this case, no one hit him, they nicely asked him to go with them after showing him the warrant but in a typical Nigerian big manism he said, " am not going anywhere".
They had no choice than to use minimal force to effects his arrest when he totally refused to be arrested.

These criminals steal enough to afford themselves fancy lawyers who use their stolen booty to buy themselves bail no matter the cost, buy themselves an indefinite trial time and in the end, buy themselves freedom. Things are changing and may it continues until thieves realize that there is a sheriff in town who is allergic to stealing.
Support this crusade and forget your politics of APC or PDP, or your personal dislike for Buhari. These rogues are your rightful enemies.

in anycase...stealing of our wealth has been going on since 1960...no bi today ooo....
i hate corruption but we must also respect rule of law...
you wont beat up a referee just because he reffed against you...will you? some referees deserves to be beaten but you still control yourself ..
so we must know that some judgement may not go our way ..so leave it for another day ..period...
even in advance countries..people have a way of by passing the law so they keep reviewing it until it gets better..
it is not one day we would get there...take it by step..all of this wont make people to change .....but gradually....

You watch too much movies. Look through YouTube and See how some real arrest happen even in the US that you probably emulate.
All I saw was a policeman preventing a common criminal from escaping. If he had civilly followed them to the vehicle, he will not be forced in.
I rest my case.

Our economy is worse off because oil prices are at an all time low. It'll take more than seven months to diversify our economy. The previous administration had all the time and resourses to do it. They simply refused.
Buhari is applying crude method in recovering stolen money,
I don't understand what you mean by "crude method". The EFCC was not established by Mr. President. They have simply woken up to their duties under his watch. If they had been doing what they're currently doing years ago, we wouldn't have gotten to this point.

Moreover he is fighting his political opponents.
*Sighs* This is usually the last line of defence. Fact remains that these people stole. Political opponents or not.
