Indirectly you have shown that the Orlu stadium was not at that foundation stage before it was dismantled by Gov. Okorocha, as you falsely alleged earlier. The stadium was complete except laying the tracks.

It would pay your good friend Okorocha if he restores the stadium to how he met it in 2011.

That Okorocha believes he has political enemies - EVILS - in Orlu cannot make him demolish a stadium, scrape roads in Orlu and move Imo state to become Owerri.

The picture I showed is the finished stadium or do you have another? When Okorocha completes his own we can compare. This old stadium only has the pavilions dismantled by vandals and is still same except for the stolen roof.

Mandax this was the best road in Orlu as at 2011 true or false? Other roads were narrower and mostly red in colour true or false? As at 2011 the old Owerri road was cut by erosion at 3 different locations and rendered unusable true or false? Amaigbo Road dualized by Okorocha is the road on this pic and it is more than 4km true or false. About 5 other major roads in Orlu were dualised true or false? All the dualised roads have functional streetlights true or false? Answer these questions and I will know your sincerity.

I did not mention anywhere. Just drive from Owerri to Banana junction and turn right to enter Orlu town and drive past Enugu Road to Akokwa. Come back and tell us if that place is how it used to be 4 years ago.

Godwin Kizito Ezeji

I travelled to orlu today and I saw how orlu that I used to
know have greatly transformed into a modern neat
city. There are many good roads with double lane and big
structures built by Rochas with street lights coupled with a
clean and serene environment. This can only be achieved by
a visionary leader. The road leading from owerri to orlu
makes a pleasurable ride With what I saw today,it will be
very stupid of anybody to say Rochas has failed.I want to
commend the governor for been a transformation leader a
governor who came and turned things around.I am proud of
you Owelle.

I used to drive from Owerri to Orlu via Owerri/Okwoudo/orlu axis in 1986 with little attention to pay on the road. It appears that this dude, Godwin Kizito Ezeji, has just grown up.

@Centje,
At Orlu local government hqs, pls ask for directions to all those areas I enumerated:

The old Orlu-Owerri road;

Amaigbo road at St. Joseph's junction,

Teaching hospital road;

TESAC to St. Joseph's Catholic church road,

Morning Star Girls Secondary school road,

road from St Joseph to International market.

They are all within five minutes drive or okada ride to reach from the lga hqs.

Ask the locals about their feelings over the dismantled stadium. You may hear some tearful tales.

In Lagos you have: VI, Ikoyi, Banana Island etc.

In Enugu you have: GRA and Independence Layout.

Please which is the 'Most Exclusive/Highbrow' part of Owerri?

Rochas is currenty trying to steal the community hospital in my village of Awomamma!
The community raised money and built a hospital that is of very high standard, and Rochas has sold this community property as if it was a state asset to a company barring his own fathers name.

Youths are ready for them when they come to claim what isn't theres

you must go hell from lying, abagworo.

Below are Orlu stadium during the period when Okorocha agents were dismantling the roofs; and after dismantling was completed, except the walls.

If I say these things it will appear as if I hate Imo or I hate Okorocha because he is APC, but it's not so. And I must say them...
Okorocha as a person is not organised, just take time to observe him, and that trait is manifesting in his governance. I can still recall when someone kept writing about this Orlu stadium that was standing until Okorocha came and demolished it. Why demolish a structure when you aren't ready to build another one? Why scrape remnant asphalt on a road when you aren't ready to build the road? The same goes for schools and hospitals Okorocha started, they are all largely abandoned now.

That is Rochas for you. Although most of the schools have been completed, but the bulk of all the roads he graded are yet to be completed, including the general hospitals. Even the most annoying thing among all is that virtually all his inferior roads, have been washed away by erosion.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 11:57pm On Dec 15, 2015
Yeah, most of the schools have been completed. I loved the concept of both the schools and the hospitals. But the remaining schools are abandoned.

On general note, the problem with our leaders is that they don't apply UN concept of development, any development should be sustainable. Is there any system in place to maintain these completed schools...am sure none, so in the next 10years, when Rochas has even forgotten he was a governor, we will be back to zero, dilapidated schools!

If those hospitals get completed and equiped, Imo state will be among States with best state hospitals in Nigeria. Am very sure, best in south east. The hospital structure is quite huge that's true and fine too. Now the real issue is, what plans are on to have paramedics with emergency network service, link these hospitals to the two tertiary hospitals in state, what system is in place to run a regular maintainance of the hospitals, these issues and many others are not usually given attention...

Jesus de Greatest, a statue whose height is 28 feet, will be unveiled at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in the Abajah local government area of Imo state, on January 1, 2016. Obinna Onuoha, founder of Premier Petroleum Limited, funded and offered the statue to the church. According to a statement signed by Smatt Ozomena, Onuoha announced his intention to execute the project on January 1, 2014, meaning that it would be unveiled exactly two years after. Jesus de Greatest, which would be the fifth tallest statue in Africa, has a total weight of 40 tons and is made of marble. With 161 feet, African Renaissance Monument in Dakar, Senegal, is the tallest statue in Africa after Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt with 66 feet, and Ramesses II, still in Egypt, which has 30 feet, is the third. Nelson Mandela Union Building in South Africa has 28 feet and is the fourth tallest in the continent. The world’s tallest statue of Jesus is Christ the King in Świebodzin, western Poland, with a height of 172 feet. A graduate of York St. Johns University in the United Kingdom and the Harvard Business School, Onuoha is an indigene of Abajah. He is a devout Catholic and his marriage to Nkeiru is blessed with four children.

When Okorocha completes his own (stadium), we can compare.

But you told us a few months ago that Okorocha's own stadium in Orlu shall be ready this December.

It's close to four years he started it, but he built two stadium-like structures in Owerri in less than six months in 2012.

In Orlu area with youths in hundreds of thousands, it is unthinkable that no sporting activities have taken place four years.

Which year did Udenwa complete his? The old stadium is still there with its vandalised pavilion. Luckily enough we are in internet age where info is ever available.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/06/imo-govt-to-probe-ex-gov-udenwa-over-uncompleted-projects/

Imo State government has declared that it may
probe the former governor of the state, Chief
Achike Udenwa over his role in the commissioning of
uncompleted project before he left office in 2007.
The multi-billion naira project include the Imo State
University Teaching Hospital, Orlu International
Market and Sam Okwaraji Stadium, Orlu.
The projects were commissioned by former President
Olusegun Obasanjo at the request of the former
governor even when jobs on them were still ongoing
and contract sums paid.
But Political Adviser to Imo State Governor, Chief Rex
Anunobi said there was need to probe the former
governor given the fact that the projects were
hurriedly commissioned when they were not
completed.
He said it was inconceivable that “the so called
signature projects of the previous administration
took eight years to execute and yet were not
completed before commissioning.”
Anunobi, who is a lawyer wondered why Udenwa
has been accusing the state governor, Ikedi Ohakim,
of abandoning those projects which had already been
scheduled as completed and commissioned.
“Apart from the fact that those projects were sited in
only one town in one local government, how come
they commissioned the projects only to now start
crying of marginalization?”, he submitted.
The political adviser who spoke on a radio program
in response to allegations that Ohakim was
parochial and profligate, challenged the accusers to
name what they did for Imo in the last eight years
outside abandoned projects.

Sam Okwaraji stadium Orlu was completed except laying of tracks when it was commissioned by Obasanjo in 2007.

It took less than one-and-half years to complete.
Forget Ohakim group propaganda above.

Methinks, Okorocha has the false belief that Udenwa and others from Orlu are his enemies, hence he abandoned Orlu.

Udenwa was the only past governor who attended Okorocha's inauguration as governor in 2011.

Udenwa and Co. conspired to refuse any gubernatorial candidate from Orlu to compete against Okorocha's 're-election last May.

Okorocha is fighting non-existing enemies in Orlu, enemies of his imagination, as he denies Orlu area the development infrastructures it deserves as the second most populated town in Imo state.

I saw the teaching hospital Road, cause I was at the teaching hospital

I didn't see others cause I didn't know Orlu well and I had limited time.

I will post pictures soon, with some information I got about situation of things.

The truth is that Imo start is in trouble, it's been badly manged by Rochas Administration. What I saw and heard confirms most of the assertions and information here.

This is a Private university in Ideato LGA.

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 7:22pm On Dec 18, 2015
Now, this the road leading to Orlu from Ideato south LGA. What the State government is doing on the road is pouring red earth to the bad parts of the road. So the road is almost filled with this red earth, very dusty, with occasional good part.

I think this explains what Mandax post about people swallowing/breathing dust.
