Guys I want to buy this phone as a gift for someone;I have read so many negative reviews and even my cousin whom I told to buy the phone is complaining. Will you advice me to buy this phone or should i look for something else.

That;s still my point, if the one before had 2 GIG, the one after should at least come with a 1.5 GIG and 2 GIG if not 3 GIG, i see your points tho

I cannot take pictures with the camera, if I try taking pictures with the camera it keeps telling me to ‘insert an SD card before using the camera’. Everything was alright when i bought it a month ago but after about 2 weeks, it started this issue. I’m not using the guest profile cos i see guest’s storage space as 0.92G and i have an available internal storage space of 7.82G from total of 11.68G. I really need help with this.

When you start using the phone without sdCard inserted, it gets to a stage where the phone internal memory will boot into read only mode. If you're not careful you might never be able to access the files you saved on the internal memory by that time. That's why you're required to insert an sdCard first before usage.

Get an sdCard and use es file explorer to copy or move your files to the sdCard then RESET your phone.

The only way out is to unroot it, and then flash back the AndroidOne Lollipop to your phone, or if you insist on installing update without reverting to Android One, you have to manually flash such ROMs. Is that clear enough bro?

An error message shows when you try to update if you've rooted your phone before.

what did u use in rooting.

I know these things - don't root your hot 2 unless you want a bricked phone when you do update blah blah blah I find this extremely odd coming from a Samsung phone! I have gotten past the whole root thing for now. There seem to be nohing I can do after all. My grudge with infinix is why don't they let us the users determine how system updates are delivered to us The last update was well over 600mb of absolute nothingness, what if I had just 100mb left and I was managing this 100mb for the rest of the month?! What this means is that infinix will just waste my 100mb of to download a crap of an update just like that without my consent whatsoever

I have an issue that requires urgent attention. On my infinix, I went to "user" from settings and changed from "owner" to "guest". Not too long, I swapped back from "guest" to "owner". And guess what? My pics video & musics stopped showing. I tried to back it up on pc so I could do a factory reset, but my Pc cannot detect any USB connection. The last straw that broke the camels back, wass when I downloaded es explorer so I could transfer the files to my memory card. And guess what? It refuses to Install es explorer file manager! It says sumtin "parsin error". No version of es file xplorer online is compatible with the os 5.1. What do I do, gurus in this forum? Am fed up!

I experienced the same problem. If you used guest at anytime, you need to delete guest and restart your phone.
