Hello people,
this is an italian tourist visa enquiry. However, this is the only running thread I could find concerning italian visa. I hope I would be able to get answers here.
I have a UN conference in Rome next year. I have checked the italian website and somethings are still not clear to me.
Is the €30,000 medical insurance compulsory for a two-week stay?
what documents do I need for the application?
I learnt that there's a consulate in Lagos, do I need to book an appointment?
Has anyone recently applied for a schegen visa enroute italy? please, I need your help. Thank you

Sorry bro,
I don't have any. But I'll suggest you go to 16, Anifowoshe Street, VI. And make enquiry there.
It pretty close to Mike Adenuga tower/house.

It's same here, a film festival in Rome accepted my short film for March 2016 screening. I think its better to go the VFS and get a better explanation on the requirements.

thanks for the information. i will check their website immediately. Concerning the bank statement, I will be using that of my brother and
we bear the same surname. Hope it will pass?? Finally I do not understand the proof of flight booking. Am I supposed to book a ticket and print the page as evidence? This is because I dont think it is advisable to purchase a flight ticket before getting the visa. How do I go about that??
Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by greeners222(m): 12:52am On Dec 03, 2015
It's flight reservation. Don't pay. Go through an agent if you don't know how to do it. Yeah u can use your brothers but make sure u demonstrate on your bank statement that u earn money too. Like u work and u need to resume back to work after the trip. This are the things this people wanna see. That u got something going on here and u wouldn't wanna abandon them to start living in the Italy. So demonstrate your home ties.

I'm a student and do not have a job. I'm thinking of attaching a letter of purpose of visit from the dean of students' affairs of my school.
Is there anyone with information about very good hotels accessible from the airport and close to Sheraton parco de medici (conference venue but it is quite expensive to book there)?

Unfortunately, you need document to certify that you have Italian language skill to get admitted to such school and to get visa.
