It's interesting that in a thread titled 'books every investor should read', nobody mentioned any book about the greatest investor of our time (if not of all time), WARREN BUFFETT.

Buffett is the 2nd richest man on earth and there are books that teaches his simple, yet effective principles for growing wealth. If you apply those principles, you too can become financially free. Learn how he used the power of compounding to turn $150k to over $50 billion!

People please let’s be realistic I can’t keep resending the books each time a new batch of people request for it; I have other things to do.
Please if I have given to you kindly extend the gesture by giving to another person, this is also the reason I recommended the book club of a thing. Am in PH, if we could get up to 10 interested persons then we could talk
Again this is not a one man’s show, am sure some of you have some other nice books you could share with us, am interested in upgrading my library, even if it’s a novel like those of John Gresham or Sidney Sheldon, I won’t mind getting some from this forum.

Who cares to share with us?

Blackkie:
Think And Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill

Think and Grow Rich, a book wrriten by Napoleon Hill is a summary of what it takes to build a business and set it on automatic gear. It is among the oldest business literature that is still relevant after about a century of its first publication.
The dictates of the book are the basics without dilution. It is based on positive philosophy and psychology - what you think is what you will be. The author made it clear that there is no magic, accident or miracle to wealth creation. If there is any, they are the ones an individual personally orchestrates knowingly and unknowingly. According to him, all one has accumulated in life is a sum total of what that individual knows.

Going through the book, all the names mentioned are pioneer captains in various fields in United States of America. These men are in politics, management, sales, marketing, arts, music, invention et cetera. One thing is peculiar about these people, these men who are the fulcrum of what we know today as America are men of no certificate education but men who are pure thinkers and acted accordingly positively. Thinking makes the difference. A popular maxim said ''Good thinking - Good product'' Unfortunately, thinking aright is the hardest thing to do. Good thoughts sets people in their desired calibration!

All through the book, history of great men were given prominence in its simplest and educative summary. You will come across Ford who a majority of the so called elites of his age dubbed an illiterate, yet he built Ford Motor Corporation from nothing but imagination and persistence, the Enchanted Kettle-talking about the origin of the bottle with the best contours Coca-Cola, the men who fought with their brains to midwife the nation called America by risking the gallows, Berns who taught his way to become a partner with the great inventor Thomas Edison, the savvy personality of Charles Schweb in building United State Steel Corporation, the speech that gave birth to Illinois Institute of Technology as delivered by a priest, the list was endless.

Napoleon Hill's focal point in the book is success in wealth creation, this could only be achieved by coordinating various attributes in the right dimensions.
These attributes includes-

Desire - The starting point of all achievement
Faith - The belief that whatever one is going after is obtainable
Persistence - The only shield against failure
Auto Suggestion - What you tell yourself, you will voluntarily do in real life
Organised Planning - How to go after what seems too far from you and pocket it via application of winning strategies.

On the other side, he outlined the elements that causes many to be perpetual losers in life. Chief among them is procrastination-shifting till tomorrow what you should have done days ago. Fear, being afraid of what has not yet happened. According to him, fear has different ways of presenting itself conspicuously without due invitation. When fear reigns, procrastination creeps in boldly and dictates the way things will go, however they will be wrapped in negativity.

The author directed the attention of all seeking wealth to the place of transformed partnership. Partnership was all he was describing when he mentioned the Mastermind Group. A Mastermind Group is a group of people who came together to carry out a specific assignment till absolute perfection. Thus, any successful person must practice the act of bringing people together and working harmoniously with them and achieve a set out goal. To support the work of Masterminds, he advocates tapping ideas from the ''invisible'' counselors and Seating for Ideas. The Invincible counselors are achievers and role models that may be living or dead, you focus on their work and ideas and draw inspirations from their wealth of success. Seating for Ideas is taking an extra time to disect a given challenge and factor in the most suitable and qualified answers to the given challenge. Once again, its all about thinking and thinking right.

Some personal analyses are added with questions to draw ones attention to personal effectiveness. These researched questions are offered by the author so that the reader of the book will understand that he or she is totally responsible for whatever happens around him in life.
Think And Grow Rich is the name of the book. Why did the author appendage this name to his work? Thinking and Doing it right is all that spells success in all realms of life. Riches and wealth is within your environment only your style of thinking makes teh difference.
In his closing remarks, Napoleon Hill quotes the words of Immortal Emerson, ''if we are related, we shall meet'' which he accents to thus, ''if we are related, we have through these pages meet''
somewhere inside "i worked for a menia job ... only to learn dismay that whatever i ask of life, life would have willingly paid"

I have sent to everyone who indicated interest.
It would be nice if people staying in same location could reach a nice agreement to form a sort of reading club or support club where you decide to read one inspirational book each month. You come together at a mutually agreed location once in same month to discuss lessons and how to put What you've read into action.
This would help those who want to formulate a good reading habit, it could also present a platform to those who want to enhance their presentation skills and also helps inspire you to be the best you can.

Just saying

I just finished the greatest sales man, am thinking of the next book maybe I will try "Outliners" or can anyone suggest any for me, don't get me wrong I have lots of books and audios but I just like to keep accumulating more
1 should spark u running not asking for more. Its not novel
