I love flying with them but they can embarrass preggies for airport sha. On their website they took time to write how many weeks for singleton/twin/triplets preggie they will carry. They don't joke. Apple19:That MEDIF form has to be sent to and approved in Doha via email I think 2 days before your flight, also doctor's certificate has to downloaded from their website and certified by their own approved doctors(I don't know if they accept the signature from Port Health at the airport). Best bet go their manager at their check in counter at the airport and clarify. Someone talk about her experience on this thread,I think she had to buy another ticket with another airline that day. Me still dey hope that Klm will do sales after New year(na February I wan port). 1 Like 1 Share |

For your Information House.......If PTA is an issue now, one of the best alternative is to use FORM A. Most banks(I use GT) use it to pay directly to the hospital and /or doctor at 199 or 200 per dollar. If you know the doctor very well, you can even over pay him or her and tell the person it was an error and request for your refund when you get there. That's what am going to use for DW this time around . Though for her, she's using the same doctor and hospital she used the last time so it's an advantage using this method. If you are a first timer, then this method "MAY" be a little difficult since sometimes you don't know which doctor or hospital you are using. Like (Afrobrown) planned to go to El Paso and ended up in Dallas.....It may take up to 3 weeks to process |

FFFB:Hi FFFB. I used Cheapflights.com to search for all flight combos from PH to my destination, but finally booked through the Lufthansa website when I read about the issues one might have when it comes to adding infant ticket. You will see different flight options and combinations too. But sha, bear in mind that it is more expensive to fly from PH than from Lag, but when you actually calculate well (flight from PH to Lag, excess luggage fees, all the stress), there's no difference, it's better for me. They carry up to 36weeks, but they will ask for your doctor's letter if you are above 28weeks. Check www.lufthansa.com/en/Pregnancy All the best... 1 Like |

If u r flying Lufthansa get fit to fly from port health. They are uninformed about the 36 weeks tingy... So print the page It was quoted, And have data to show them if dey won't wanna see d print out. I had to go back home becos one oversabi nuisance who isn't even sure of her job said I'm not fit to fly. Even though it was rectified the stress isn't worth it abeg. I remember the nuisance telling me I shouldn't have indicated how many weeks I am on my fit to fly. And make copies of ur fit to fly. Aside the counter at d boarding gate I was asked for it. Imagine I don't have an extra copy? And I know it's d nuisance that asked d lady to come and ask me. To think it was a partner flight tingy.... Cc FFFB AND MERRYMUM 1 Like |

Apple19: Please stay away from Qatar Airways oh, I was 35+1day pregnant and they deemed me unfit to fly. It took almost a month for them to refund my money, after deducting taxes and gbogbo tigbo(almost 50k). 3 Likes |

yokus: Yup at oakbend for my daughter they gave me that birth certificate. Haven't used it to do anything though. There is Wifii, there is a photographer and freebies (I got diapers, wipes, pad, formular, blankets, some baby onesies, cap and socks), breast milk storage containers and some coupons I never used (Started pumping in the hospital cuz of jaundice - hence the storage bottles) - the formula they gave me was ready to drink, the already liquified ones in small bottles. P.s all these things we call freebies are already billed into the cost and is not actually free Gwinnett is faaaaar more expensive so temper expectations |

Apple19: For emirates you have to choose the best available flight to be eligible for dubai connect, any flight with transit time longer than 8hrs they provide accommodation. if there is an available flight with a shorter transit time (less than 8hrs) and you dont select it, but rather go for one with a longer transit time, then they might not give u accommodation. 1 Like |
