KingEbukasBlog:You are simply using the sentiment of your religion to back your arguments. If you are as intelligent as you try to appear you would've known I answered your question when I pointed out that Mao Zedong and Hitler were cleansing their societies of undesirable elements. They killed people in their millions but they are vindicated today because they bettered their societies. Forget quoting a bible that contradicts itself and point out what the world have benefited from religious killings. You cannot embarrass me, my man. I'm far more educated in this topic than you. I can point out achievements of atheists who killed people but you should be able to give me achievements of religious killings. I'm waiting here for you. |

You appear to be a really bad person . I condemned the killings in the name of religion while you justified the killings of people ? 2 Likes 1 Share |

KingEbukasBlog:You've started judging my person. That's how you religious people start your fundamentalist ideas. Next you'll feel like throwing a bomb at me. Open your mind a little; the killings carried out by people like Mao Zedong, Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler and the rest and killings by religious groups which have benefited the world most? If you don't know let me tell you that 80% of the breakthroughs in medicine was made in Hitler's Germany. China's economic prowess was set up by Mao Zedong and his political philosophy is still used in China today. Here are two groups of people who are killers, Mao Zedong and the rest dictators and the religions. Let's look at why both killed and the world benefits. You'll see at the end that religions have no single reason yet they've incited more wars and killings than Mao Zedong, Hitler, Stalin and natural disasters put together. |

This is not an atheist versus theist post. My ancestors were not atheists and I am not one. I am an Aborisha one who is always ready to worship anyone and anything. Do not reduce this post to an atheist versus theist debate. Thanks. There is God but that God is not the beast Christians and Muslims are portraying him to be. I am relaying real accounts that can be independently verified on google without you spending money or moving an inch. Those accounts are more original and more authentic than your Bible account that will tell you Herod ordered babies to be killed when nothing like that happened. May God guide us aright. Please stop the digressions . The focus of the argument is who killed more . The religious people or the atheists ? Enforcing people to accept an ideology at all costs by a political leader is dictatorship and that's what's these people are - dictators . Stop defending them , its inhuman and wicked ! Pathetic , disgusting , repugnant ! Let me make this simpler . If you have a great idea for a family business and your family members dont agree with you . Will you slaughter them and explain to the court that you killed for the betterment of the family's succeeding generation Dont forget the future generations may reap in billions if you just have to kill them 2 Likes |

Re: The Story Of Jesus Christ by oglalasioux(m): 2:47pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
KingEbukasBlog:Apart from saying I'm insane you sounded more intelligent this time. Let's cast our minds back to the beginning of the last century. The industrial revolution was in full gear and some people weren't ready to accept or even work in it. For progress to be made some people had to get out of the way. That's the justification of the cleansing carried out by Mao and the rest of the dictators. Believe it or not, had they not put some people out of the way the world would not be where it is today. It sounds bizarre no doubt but the dictators had a reason for their killings. The religions don't have. Consider Papa Doc (google it) who was a dictator but used the cloak of religion to hoodwink his people and Mao who said if you don't work you must die. Who of the two was a hypocrite? 1 Like |

oglalasioux: Though its baffling that you justified the killings of millions , you actually downplayed the intelligence of these dictators who exhibited gross bigotry . Insisting that an abhorrent approach to effecting change is right also exposed the vacuousness of your intentions . Did every country use this method to get where they are ? By the way China is not actually benefiting from MAO's wickedness - they took a much better reformation policy . MAO's dictatorship had very few notable good impact on the economy at that time but not to China's present economy . And I sense you are evolutionist - survival of the fittest . The cruelty of evolution - the weak who could not succumb were killed , those who could not work were killed . Atheistic concepts like evolution are deleterious to a sound mind 1 Like |

KingEbukasBlog: Fact or fiction?; Is the story of bible god who walk in the garden, used humans to mine gold, chased them out when they knew his secret etc is probably a believable story? Or,is the bible god a spirit hanging in the sky,who now lives in the Christians heart? I can imagine you will believe the 2nd due to years of brainwash. KingEbukasBlog:Very brilliant response. You are however wrong about Mao. Secondly you are right that I'm an evolutionist. It by far answers my questions more than the bible and the religions. I'll rather believe the world is survival of the fittest than write the disparity between rich and poor, fortunate and unfortunate off as the will of a benevolent god. |

Re: The Story Of Jesus Christ by KingEbukasBlog(m): 3:58pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
oglalasioux: Thanks . By the way , the disparity between the poor and the rich was never God's plan - clearly written in the bible . Even Jesus Christ knows there are poor people , that's why He wants the rich to help the poor - to alleviate their indigence - but instead the rich ostensibly help the poor with praise by the public as their main purpose . Its never the survival of the fittest . That has been disproven long ago . How better adapted are the rich people to the environment than the poor ? Have you asked yourself why the rich are rich and why the poor are poor ? |

@Lawani. Just on the ben Pantheras issue, I think that the infancy stories as contained in the books of Matthew and Luke are essentially made up, it should be clear that the author of Matthew is trying to place Jesus of Nazareth in a particular lineage and Luke simply embellishes the whole idea. The very first gospel, being the author of Mark does not provide any details of the infant Jesus nor does the author of John. Considering that the book of Matthew was likely written around 85CE or thereabouts it therefore follows that early Christians who had only the early writings of Mark around 65CE to follow would have had no idea that Jesus of Nazareth was born of a virgin. The story of Pantheras is really striking, as you pointed out it obtains in the Jewish Talmud, I am also aware it is contained in a very rare Samaritan Midrash. I would point out that the writings were of those who had good reason to reject the divinity and Messiahship of Jesus of Nazareth, therefore in my view the story of Pantheras, as well as the infancy gospels of Matthew and Luke are likely false. Interesting point you make about the use of magic ritual, any student of Qabbalah will recognize immediately what was going on in the scene where Jesus reputedly writes in the sand, and evades capture. I am amazed it was retained in the texts I would say that a significant amount of the stories attributed to Jesus of Nazareth are a conflation of various first and second century bearers of the same name for instance, Jesus ben Ananias, who wailed about the impending destruction of the temple of Jerusalem, and various other “Messiahs”. Of particular interest is, Jesus ben Sapphias, leader of the Galillean boatmen and party of the poor who poured out their blood until the whole of the sea of Galilee ran red. 1 Like |
