Dat is a lie, how u can register for an exam in January n d exam is starting in Feb 2, this is not Jamb o, even if u read day n night from Jan 1 to 31 u nor go knw wetin to write.
That guy is a scam, i wrote my own exam btw Jan 20 and Feb this year, this is an exam u need to prepare atleast 5months before the exam and remember it is made up of theory only and no objectives.
we saw alot of cases were those no nonsense mallams from Zaria chase people out of exam venues because of illegal registration like d one they are trying to convince u on.

olatunji21:
Sociology is the study of social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. Sociologists investigate the structure of groups, organizations, and societies, and how people interact within these contexts. Since all human behavior is social, the subject matter of sociology ranges from the intimate family to the hostile mob; from organized crime to religious cults; from the divisions of race, gender, and social class to the shared beliefs of a common culture; and from the sociology of work to the sociology of sports. In fact, few fields have such broad scope and relevance for research, theory, and application of knowledge. Sociology provides many distinctive perspectives on the world, generating new ideas and critiquing the old. The field also offers a range of research techniques that can be applied to virtually any aspect of social life: street crime and delinquency, corporate downsizing, how people express emotions, welfare or education reform, how families differ and flourish, or problems of peace and war. Because sociology addresses the most challenging issues of our time, it is a rapidly expanding field whose potential is increasingly tapped by those who craft policies and create programs. U can work as an advice worker, social researcher, social worker, youth worker, charity fundraiser, housing manager, human resource officer, probation officer, public relation officer Also as a criminal justice, law enforcer, parole system, human resource, human developer, leadership trainer, social service, child care, youth service, census bureau, social science analyst, policy analyst, homeland security, alumni relation, placement offices, educational researcher, child welfare, public relations trust me if you can or you ate studying this particular cours in Nigeria you have no problem in getting job even though it not highly valued in Nigeria.

Unilorin targets 100% digitization – Ambali

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali (OON), has vowed that the University would not rest on its oars until it achieves its ground plan of 100 percent digitization in all ramifications.

Prof. Ambali, who disclosed this last Friday (December 11, 2015) in his address at the Unilorin @40 Verve Card Raffle Draw, said that the University of Ilorin belongs to the group of institutions of higher learning that pay utmost attention to Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Represented on the occasion by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Technology and Innovation), Prof. Gabriel Olatunji, the Vice-Chancellor said that the University of Ilorin's due recognition of the importance of ICT informed the introduction of the one-student-one-iPad scheme three years ago.

According to him, this also informed the introduction of the multipurpose Identification Card (Combo card) for both staff and students of the institution.

Prof. Ambali disclosed that the feedback has been very encouraging as the iPad has really gone a long way in enhancing students' academic performance. He said, “Gone were the days when students were limited to outdated materials in the library, but with the introduction of the iPad and e-library, students and staff have golden opportunities to access current materials as they unfold around the globe”.
The Vice-Chancellor, however, commended the management of Verve for remembering the students of the institution with such monumental gifts and described the gesture as morale booster for recipients of the prize and potential winners in the coming Verve Card raffle draw.
Prof. Ambali said that the University of Ilorin places high premium on Information and Communication Technology.
No fewer than 12 students of the University received prizes ranging from 32-inch television sets, laptops, cash prizes and air time from Verve Company as compensations for activating and using their Unilorin Verve cards for transactions.
Abdulrahman Muhammed, a 300 level student of the Faculty of Pharmacy won a Plasma TV set while Ige Oluwatosin, a 300 level student of the Department of Information and Communication Science won a laptop.
Other students that won various prizes at the Unilorin @40 Verve Card Raffle draw included Kamali Azeez, Oguniyi Joseph, Mahmud Olarewaju, Ayilara Oluwashayo, Ifebude Abigail, and Olujide Taofeeq among others.
Earlier in his address, the representative of Verve Company, Mr. Ugo Obasi, said that the idea of giving was to encourage students and staff to develop positive attitude towards the usage of Verve Card.
He disclosed that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Verve is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, saying that he graduated about 10 years ago from the Department of Computer Science with First Class Honour.
He advised both staff and students of the University to take the bull by the horns and make use of the card within their reach, pledging that great rewards and advantages await those who use their cards optimally.

The Verve representative, who gave kudos to the management of the University of Ilorin for always blazing the trail in the scheme of things, affirmed that Unilorin was the first tertiary institution in the country to partner Verve for the production of Combo cards for both staff and students.

Mr. Obasi disclosed that the prizes presented to the winners were just a tip of the iceberg as more would be presented to potential winners by January next year.
