They all come and it's a case of negotiating and collect the number of their Boss. Once first one comes and u settle, once others a come, call the Boss of the people who called before to help you put mouth. This way you can get the figures down. They all work together and know each other.

Also if you can get a permit it gives you some leverage. Also make sure you have correct setback. I had like 3/4 groups come to my site with all sorts of things.

sir;i'm still under your tutulage, you can easily do that by measure the length feet, width feet and height inches which will give you cubic and then multiply by 1.4 which is the rule of thumb. for example height feet ×width feet × height/depth inches= cubic, then cubic × 1.4= tonnage. note this only applicable to granite, gravel and sand.

If one wall of let's say 7 coaches is suspected of not being powerful enough to retain laterite, will a second wall acting in unison with the original wall as a double wall suffice?

So basically if one wall can retain say X#, does that mean that 2 siamese walls then can retain 2X#?

Once your wall is Up to 5, 6 courses, there's need to do a double wall..The new wall has to be inside so as not to Disrupt the aesthetics of the building.
And yes, a 'siamese' /retaining/double wall can retain 2X#
