We should try and ensure no new recruitment is carried out without recourse to the 2012 applicants that were invited for interview

U yearn and cry for change, so you hav change now. Bros this regime is for laying/sacking of Staff, NNPC sacking over 1100 staff. No employment for now, austerity measure now. Companies retrenching, states going bankruptcy, I wondered where d corrupt PDP got money to run economy. Dollar nosedive to almost 300 naira. Abeg go look for anoda job or learn trade. No vex for this small advice, but na harsh truth.

crude oil sold for as high as 110 dolls per barrel for more than 5 years. That's about 3 times what it is now. Instead, this money was shared, wasted and that's a reason we are here now. Even the excess money from oil sale was squandered. We should not just expect the present government to come do magic.

Crude oil Started declining since almost 2 years ago, yet the economy was still managed. But within the past few months, everything nosedived that Jobs were lost at alarming rate, Dollars exchange rate increasing at alarming rate, Toll gates back, electricity tariff abt to be increased, petrol queue almost worsen than previous govt. I agreed that PDP mismanaged this country, i'm just wondering how they managed to patch or run the country until PDP handed over power.

The change agent and his evildoers have put a stop to my first opportunity to get a well paid job. May it never be well with Buhari and Ibe Kachikwu.

Many countries are without crude oil and they are prosperous. So no one should use falling prices of oil to defend a daft president who lack the capacity to govern this nation and diversify its economy.

I don't like to debate with people without solid Knowledge. What is the country's major source of income? Do you think to diversify is a child's play. Does it happen in 6 months of governance. Can you diversify an economy in 6 months ? You need real financing, investors, if you cannot make the environment fit enough, it can't work. The dividends of diversification is not seen in a short time.

it started declining 2014 June. It still sold for about 70 something last year dec. As at march 48 or so, now below 38. You would not expect to see the effect of a drop almost immediately. That's it. The fact that the economy was the way it was when PDP was in power does not mean it was run successfully. This is a government that has not spent upto a year. Why can't we be patient. If you must know, these tariffs can only lead to something better. Check out the developed countries, they pay bills like whatever. That's how it is. I know this government means good. It's only a matter of time.

Good news.

mcFANZY:
Hello folks, I mailed Philips Consultant Limited on 26th August and they replied me. See the details below:

Dear Sir,
I am one of the applicants that applied for this recruitment. Please, may I know in details the reason why this has been put on hold since February that we got texts that say

''Dear candidate, congratulations! You have been shortlisted for the next phase of the NNPC recruitment process. Interview details will reach your mail by 21/02/15

Dear candidate, as a follow up to our previous SMS, we are putting in place required logistics for the interviews. We'll update you in due course. Pls bear with us'' ?

The main reason why I am writing you is that, there are so many rumours in town and on 'nairaland website' that it might be cancelled. I wonder why it might be cancelled. Instead of me to believe that, I am sure it is better that I mail the consultant to know what is happening.

Many regards,

Atoki, Oluwaseun.

Dear Candidate,

Thank you for contacting us.

If you received an SMS from us informing you that you have been shortlisted for an interview: please be informed that the interview details that should have been communicated to you by February 24, 2015 has now been rescheduled to a later date. Please bear bear with us; we will contact you in due course.

NOTE:
(1) If you no longer have access to the email address you provided during application, we advise that you send in the accurate email address immediately to 'nnpc-recruitment@phillipsconsulting.net'. Such email should have a subject line as follows: "Change of email address/GT" or "Change of email address/OP" or "Change of email address/EH" - whichever is appropriate for the job you applied for. Receipt of SMS will not guarantee entry into the interview venue. The body of the email should have your full name, candidate number (for GT & OP) or application number (for EH), your new email and phone number,

Unsuccessful candidates will be reached appropriately afterwards.

We wish you the very best.

Recruitment in Nigeria takes longer than pregnancy period.

Later they will be asking for applicants that are less than 26 yrs.
