Before I leave here, just one advice. ...Before you start something, learn to finish it, the comments here would never be enough to help you choose to or not to join your uncle, if you don't totally understand what the order is all about, tell him you wouldn't want to join, if what their members are saying here is true, he wouldn't mind. If he makes it a condition that you must join if he must continue supporting you, then that confirms your doubts, you shouldn't join at all. Like the guy said no man's destiny is staked to another.

@The Bolded

Thank God you have finally negated your initial statements concerning AMORC! Atleast everyone can now see that you were initially ignorant and painted a falsity. Thank God I have corrected that.

Im done with you!
lol,the op said, his Uncle settles most of his bills or something like that, hence giving his uncle the ability to make him an offer to join which he's finding very difficult to refuse, and thats when my morality advice of "selling soul" for financial gaains came in...(you see;you"re not that deep as you think) secondly,i never said anything bout amorc making him rich, just becos i said "sale of soul";you jumped into conclusion cos of ur knowledge of the perception that amorc's sinister;so i dodnt negate anything cos i didnt even say s in he 1st place;however, since you"re a member and the amorc doesnt make u rich, smarter, or ven aard a degree, then whats ur aim of being there? Just like i said; simple baseless reason to validate urself cos you"re in acertain group! That being said, i could be ignorant on this amorc of a tin,(becos i simply do not want to have anythingg to do with it,not becasue i cant do my research or join, but cos i dont wanna know)howwever t my close encounter and perception gives me valid reasons to justify my perceptions not like you that claim to know the in-and out when you have never even had close perception except maybe what you"ve read or being told, morever you"re tooo young to even know the intricacies....

Hello jasysandra,

I'm really impressed reading all your insightful comments on this thread. In fact, your maturity in dealing with ignorant religious fundamentalists and bigots is second to none . Still praying to the infinite intelligence for such patience. I also have a deep interest in the study of metaphysics. Can I send you a DM so that you can also forward the "mystery of life" to my mail? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your kind words. You may send a DM. I'd respond as quickly as I can.

Your uncle is either not a member of AMORC or I have good cause to doubt your story. First off, AMORC is not a religion. AMORC doesn't ask for members. How many times have you seen an AMORC invitation poster. In AMORC, we have a saying; when the student is ready, the master will appear! AMORC is a personal thing. Do not JOIN AMORC because your uncle wants you to (assuming your story is real). If you want to join AMORC, first sample the order for a while by visiting any affiliated body and then petition Calabar for membership.

Willing to tell me more?

And who gave YOU the right to AGREE or DISAGREE!!! Why do you feel you or the person you are disagreeing with are right or wrong?

Speaking of God's love, even outright idolaters have the love of God! For God's sake, they are his children! Who are you to select whom to love or not? Most of the people and groups most Christians despise actually do love Christians! Its surprising how God's love works, doesn't it?

You are just beating round in circles..!

As much as you are in your filth, as everyone are in their sins, Jesus saw value in us..

Somethings are too deep to understand. This was something I discussed in my affiliated body some weeks ago. Someone asked a question on why is it that most wicked people are rich and a higher percent of good people are poor and the person even went further to ask why it seems that people who do evil even get richer. The answer was simple. Wealth and materialism are even obstacles to spiritual evolution. Wealthy mystics usually use their wealth impersonally, this proves that they have conquered such passion. People who are materialistic and run after wealth need to conquer it and in that sense, it becomes a karmic burden in other to teach a lesson and free the soul from unneccessary attachment to the things of the world.
well is not a question of somethings being too deep to understand or not with the natural laws which are at the same time the creative will of the creator one can understand & explain many phenomena to the extent that can be appreciable to any human being. I think Wealth on its own is a neutral factor. Infact creation offers humanity all manner of precious stones & metals for use. What matters is the way the human spirit uses that wealth that will determine if it will uplift man the regions of light or press him down to the deepest darkness. As a matter of fact Material possession or Riches/ wealth does not form obstacle to spiritual maturity/ evolution rather it furthers mans' true evolution if used in the right manner, ONCE HE DOESN'T MAKE THE PURSUIT OF WEALTH HIS MAIN PREOCCUPATION IN LIFE. in the right manner here meaning if used impersonally or for general good & to uplift fellow wanderers in life's path. better still u can tell me the particular law of nature that it violates & how material acquisition hinders it.

That is another way to look at it and it's perfectly normal. That is one thing about mystical teachings, they are open to interpretations but no matter the interpretations, the truth in them is static. The truth in this matter is;
1. One does not need wealth or material things in other to know, worship or serve God.
2. Wealth is not an indicator of spiritual progress and neither is the absence of it such.
3. It is better and easier to know God and develop a healthy spiritual life when one has transcended materialism.

Every other thing we say would be mere interpretations to these facts. wink smiley

By the way, I love the way you think.

Well all your submissions in the three lines argument are 100% truth & I agree with u also 100%. Though the three lines doesn't support the premise that wealth is a hindrance to spiritual evolution.

I also admire your reasoning & hail a lady's interest in such matters as this. like I quoted u earlier I will like to know u better especially if u are single.

Rosicrucian Creed of Peace by Fr. Ralph M.Lewis

I am guilty of war when I proudly exercise
my intelligence to the disadvantage of my fellow man.

I am guilty of war when I distort other's opinions,
which differ from my own.

I am guilty of war when I show disregard
for the rights and properties of others.

I am guilty of war when I covet what another has honestly acquired.

I am guilty of war when I seek to maintain my superiority of position
by depriving others of their opportunity of advancement.

I am guilty of war if I imagine my kin and myself to be a privileged people.

I am guilty of war if I believe a heritage entitles me
to monopolize resources of nature.

I am guilty of war when I believe other people must think and live as I do.

I am guilty of war when I make success in life solely dependent
upon power, fame, and riches.

I am guilty of war when I think the minds of people should
be regulated by force, rather than by reason.

I am guilty of war when I believe the God I conceive is
the one others must accept.

I am guilty of war when I think that a land of a man's birth
must necessarily be the place of his livelihood.

The true articles of peace cannot be legislated but are drawn up in the
personal aspirations and conduct of the millions of little people. When all
men will frankly perceive their common dependence, an understanding will
emerge that will transcend the barriers of time and space, creed and race.

War as a condition of mind should be negated. It should not be tolerated;.... As we have said, editorially and otherwise in this magazine—think Peace, live Peace, and show Peace, then War in all its ramifications and material manifestations will cease to occupy a chair of directorship in the government of man's worldly affairs.

Contribution to Peace
I contribute to Peace when I strive to express the best of myself in my contacts with others.

I contribute to Peace when I use my intelligence and my abilities to serve the Good.

I contribute to Peace when I feel compassion toward all those who suffer.

I contribute to Peace when I look upon all men and women as my brothers and sisters, regardless of race, culture, or religion.

I contribute to Peace when I rejoice over the happiness of others and pray for their well-being.

I contribute to Peace when I listen with tolerance to opinions that differ from mine or even oppose them.

I contribute to Peace when I resort to dialogue rather than to force to settle any conflict.

I contribute to Peace when I respect Nature and preserve it for generations to come.

I contribute to Peace when I do not seek to impose my conception of God upon others.

I contribute to Peace when I make Peace the foundation of my ideals and philosophy.

It is very unlikely that you are a good Christian, if you are one at all.

Having established that, I'd proceed to say that your post and the previous one lacked paragraphing, juncture features, cohesion and coherence. I was still able to deduce your point because I strenuously read through it. There is nothing more to that! Work on your verbal presentation on public forums such as this.

AMORC degrees, like I said, are recognised only within AMORC. AMORC has a University known as the Rose-Croix University International (RCUI), an open University. Members degrees are recognised in this University and are used to appoint lecturers. Going to school or through a school, any school at all, must not be to get a job. That is the mediocre mentality killing Nigeria today. Learning is fun! It is adventurous and enjoyable. Making money off knowledge is the reason why AMORC is not free for all and sundry so that people with such a mentality as you cannot find their way in easily.

AMORC is NOT a RELIGION so saying AMORC is my "all and all" is fallacious because I have a religious life outside of AMORC. AMORC is mainly an organisation I am affiliated with!

I hope you are now well educated on this.?

I was a clone there before , I practically walk into their temple and request for membership, then Mr. Kenneth Idiodi is the general administrator in Nigeria, I don't know if he still is.
Then membership fee was Seventeen naira, upon payment you will be given a sign that will permit you to enter any of there temple in Nigeria.
AMORC is a mystical or esoteric school.
Most businessmen and women in Nigeria are there, Pastors, Priests, Politicians etc, it is not a secret society, but they teach so called secret knowledge that bother to uncanny powers.
But one day I received a book entitled , Mankind Search For God and Truth That Lead to Eternal Life, distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses, I became truly liberated, I told my guardian master , that am leaving, he said you are free to leave and I left.
That my guardian was a special adviser to a past governor of Imo State.
As a Methodist, if he joins, he will be surprised to see his reverend there. What I said before, am saying it with authority.
For him to set fire in his uncle's home, let him inform him that he has decided to be one of Jehovah's witnesses.

I know there is but one Living, True and Infinite God, creating and sustaining all things, visible and invisible, whose essence is diffused throughout the universe and whose mind and consciousness, constitutes the Soul of Man.

Almost every doctrine or religion is claiming that.. So be specific.. grin

It's a pity you don't stand for something. No foiudation in Christ hence the confusion that has set in. That is why I do tell people to stop being a church goer, but have a personal revelation about christ, so that in time like this you can overcome.

Lol. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy. When it comes to AMORC debates, I live for it! An old Rosicrucian once said, no real Rosicrucian can call himself one if he hasn't verbally fought for AMORC! Whenever your "vibe-killing network" comes back, I am waiting for your intellectual engagements!

grin grin grin here they are
The true origin of Rosicrucianism is unknown. Today there are two groups which claim to be representative of Rosicrucianism, the Rosicrucianism Fellowship in Oceanside, Calif., and the rival organization, the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) in San Jose, Calif. The latter group is adamant about being the faithful Rosicrucianism order.

The earliest authentically Rosicrucianism writings come from the 17th century. These anonymous works set forth the travels of the alleged founder of the order, one Christian Rosenkreutz. As the story goes, Rosenkreutz learned secrets about medicine and magic while on a trip to the Near East. Upon his return to Europe, he founded a secret fraternity whose members communicated in secret-coded writings.

The Rosicrucianism Order is syncretistic, meaning that it borrows ideas and beliefs from various other religions in an attempt to unify them under a central theme—wisdom about life after death has been preserved through the ages and is revealed only to the secret brotherhood (the Rosicrucians). There are strongly occultic teachings in Rosicrucianism, including ESP, clairvoyance, and spiritism. This goes right along with the secretive nature of Rosicrucianism because these activities are the playground of Satan and his demons, and Satan always shuns the light.

Regarding the principle Christian doctrines found in the Bible, the Rosicrucians believe the following:

Jesus Christ: According to Rosicrucianism, He was born of Gentile parents, did not die on the cross, did not ascend to heaven, and retired to the monastery in Carmel to carry on secret missions with His apostles.

Salvation: Rosicrucianism denies that a person must trust Christ as the only Savior. Their system is one of self-effort, their motto being “TRY.”

The Bible: Rosicrucianism rejects the divine authorship of the Bible and does not hold Scripture in any special favor.

As is the case with all false religion, Rosicrucianism is a lie from the father of lies, Satan, and as such it has many things in common with other false systems. First, it denies the authority of Scripture. We know from 2 Timothy 3:16 that “all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Every word of the Bible is inspired by God Himself (literally God-breathed), who moved the very hands and minds of each of the writers. Second, none of the claims regarding Jesus Christ conform to the Bible. Matthew 1:1-18 and Luke 3:23-28 affirm the long Jewish, not Gentile, ancestry of Jesus. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:17 that “if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.” Acts 1:9-11 and Matthew 24:30 confirm Christ’s ascension into heaven and His eventual return. The Jesus of the Rosicrucians is not the Jesus of the Bible.

As for the Rosicrucianism doctrine of self-effort, the Bible teaches that man is sinful from birth (Jeremiah 17:9) and incapable of doing enough good works to make him acceptable to a holy and perfectly righteous God. “For no human being will be justified in His sight by works of the law” (Romans 3:20). Man is, simply put, in desperate need of a Savior to do that for him. God has provided that Savior in His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sin and make us acceptable to God. He exchanged His perfect life for our sinful ones: “For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Finally, the secretive nature of Rosicrucianism is in direct contrast with the true faith, Christianity, which seeks to shout the message of Jesus Christ from the roof tops, as the Bible exhorts us: “What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light, and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).
