Good questions. I'll answer you!

As a member, you gain clarity, knowledge, good health (through lifestyle changes and meditation), peace, harmony, happiness, contentment. You no longer become ignorant, dogmatic, tribalistic or an extremist. You acknowledge all religions and tolerate them. You aspire towards the greatest good (loving others as yourself), you realise that life is ephemeral and transient and you do the best for your continually evolving soul personality. You unlock your latent human faculties and use them for the greater good. You become spiritually inclined and wouldn't even hurt a fly that is not in your way. You are released from the shackles of superstition into the greater light. You understand why you are in any condition you find yourself and realise the reason behind everything. If you are rich or become rich, you use your wealth for the greater good. If you are poor, you become contented and realise that it is your karmic burden. You do away with the get-rich-quick syndrome and aspire towards a better life. No true Rosicrucian is unhappy!

Members dont do incantations. Im sure what you term as incantations are merely vowel sounds, which have been proven to energise the body and mind and prepare us for deep meditation. There is nothing superstitious about them. You can try it yourself. Pick any vowel sound you know and just intone it, notice how good you'd feel if you do it well.

I am a Christian and also a Rosicrucian! My priest in church is also a Rosicrucian (confirmed). So yes, you can be a good christian and a good Rosicrucian. Infact, Rosicrucianism will help you become a better christian because you'd understand so many things behind what Jesus did and his life in general.

May our eyes and minds be open to the truth.

AMORC activities are not secretive. It appears to be so because most people have not gone there to check what is going on actually.

AMORC doesnt worship anyone other than GOD! There is no GRANDMASTER in AMORC. What we have is a body of leaders who see to the day-to-day functioning of the organisation administratively.

The girl that did thanksgiving was NOT a member of AMORC! I can tell you that categorically. She may have been to our affiliated body a number of times, she wasn't a member. TO become an AMORC member, you have to petition Calabar and wait for upto 3 months to receive your first series of mails. You have to get a key number and progress in reading monographs. That lady was simply using AMORC to cover for something else or she was simply brainwashed by a pastor into believing that she was committing a sin by attending an AMORC affiliated body.
hmmm.....tnx alot shaa.
As for the gal, she was for sure.... for lyk 6-8yrs.
Her dad was a member till his death. Bt lets 4 forget dat sha.
I wish every 1 all d best!

No! No! My evening is not disturbed at all!

The Bible has many parts: history, geography, prophesy, mystery and mystical, etc. Simplicity is mixed with complexity. You don't build a house from top down.

The Melchizedek - Jesus relationship is one of the mysteries of the Bible. The former is regarded by us as one of Christ's pre-incarnate existence.

The core message of the Bible is Man's salvation that even a child can understand. There's 'milk' and 'meat' and 'bones' in the Bible. A baby starts with milk. When God gives birth to you He gives you a measure of His Spirit and you begin to understand His words. Over time you grow and are able to understand better and more.

A believer may never understand the M-J mystery till he or she dies. Understanding it and similar complex subjects such as Trinity are not key to knowing and believing in Jesus and being eternally saved.

Unfortunately, groups as yours seek out 'inconsistencies', 'errors', esoteric matters, etc in the Bible and use them to prove how the Book is of little usefulness to spirituality and 'intellectualism' and how it's claims as God's only written word to Mankind and believe in Jesus as the only Way to God.

Remember the battle in Eden was between faith and trust in God and His Word and the deception of knowledge so called, spun by Man's Arch Enemy.

Objections by many have kept them from the Bible Christ.

So long!

Having read your comment several times, I don't seem to reconcile the bolded.

I know no good teacher/school would certify a student that doesn't have a good enough understanding of a course work to meet the minimum score required to pass in continuous assessment.

Since the M-J mystery is part of the course work, and there are "inconsistencies, errors", is it the fault of the student that seeks to have an understanding of the course?

What do you mean by pre-incarnate existence?

That is an "error" in this case, because Melchizedek was not a Spirit Being but a physical flesh and blood being, that wined, dined and interacted with men.

The prefix "pre" suggest before physical earth bodily existence.

Why do you categorize "me" as "groups"? My moniker is not even "Legion" grin

I am not questioning the spirituality or intellectualism of the bible, but to understand the course content enough to be certified "worthy in character and Learning" in the continuous assessment leading up to the attainment of Christhood.

As for the Eden story, lets leave it for now.

I don't think I raised any objections to the Bible Christ, my Lord. grin

I deduced that the OP is an AMORC member. He started this thread to propagate more about AMORC on NL.A media strategy I guess.

I am a Christian and believe that Jesus Christ is my SAVIOUR AND LORD,and ONLY through Him I will have an eternal life. His teachings ARE GIVEN ONLY in the Holy Bible,I don't need to study any other book to know more about Christ's teachings.

Though,I am not a perfect being,But my daily desire is to please my Saviour Jesus Christ by studying the HOLY BIBLE,because IT IS GOD'S GIVEN MANUAL FOR MY SUCCESSFUL LIVING HERE ON EARTH.

I don't know more about AMORC,but all I know is that THE HOLY BIBLE IS ALL I NEED.

If only it were that simple.

The Bible is just like a road map to a destination, though some lines in the map are missing.

That the bible is a reference guide, does not mean the traveler would not make use of other signposts on the road to his destination.

The Bible is not the destination, Christhood is.

You should have kept your condemnation to yourself too, See?

He's been too rebellious for someone who's asking for advice, I saw that, which is why I didn't bother advising him, my guess is he wants to join but is digging for anything negative that might come out of it, and I agree with you on that one, there's rarely anything that would stop him.

But then, the so called Christians on here are just antagonistic and not objective, if Jesus christ used the method of evangelism the Christians of nowadays use do you think that anyone would be saved? Do you think there would be a religion called Christianity at all? Christ's aim of coming to earth would have been defeated.

That's true.

Some Christians these days by their actions, inactions and utterances almost make the purpose for which Christ came a nullity.

Jesus manifested Christ, that we also may know how to manifest Christ in us.

It's only by manifesting Christ that we can "overcome the world" of hate and bigotry, and all the vices therewith.

Illustrations and examples are not always perfect, but we can, should and do use them anyway. Jesus did also. You did and it's ok.

The acada example you used is ok. The problem is while self effort may or may not earn you 100% you can't know everything there is to know about a subject, to be qualified, even teachers, professors, specialists and experts. In Christ, it's expected, good and desirable that one grows in knowledge, but better still in love!

The uneducated is not sidelined in Christ. Though he may not be able to read, he understands that love of God, neighbour and enemies, faith, holiness, trust in God, relationship and intimacy with God and such are key. Deep intricate knowledge of the Bible as important, desirable and useful is not necessary to live the above to be acceptable with God and Christ.

How many Christians understood the eschatology in Daniel and Revelation before death? Yet many are in heaven today.

In the philosophical and esoteric groups such as AMORC, Grail Message, Eckankar, how many members can't read and write? Thank God for intellectualism. But thank God MORE for the ACCESS to God that Christ made possible!

Luke 10:21
In that hour Jesus REJOICED in spirit, and SAID, I THANK thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that THOU HAST HID THESE THINGS from THE WISE and PRUDENT, and HAST REVEALED them UNTO BABES: even so, Father; for so it SEEMED GOOD in THY SIGHT.

1 Corinthians 1:19 - 29
For it is written, I will DESTROY the WISDOM of THE WISE, and will BRING to NOTHING the UNDERSTANDING of the PRUDENT.

WHERE is the wise? WHERE is the SCRIBE? WHERE is the DISPUTER of this world? HATH NOT God MADE FOOLISH the WISDOM of this WORLD?

For after that IN THE WISDOM of God the WORLD BY WISDOM KNEW NOT GOD, it PLEASED God by the FOOLISHNESS of PREACHING to save them that believe.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, CHRIST the POWER of God, and the WISDOM of God.

Because the FOOLISHNESS of God is WISER than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For ye see your CALLING, brethren, how that NOT MANY WISE MEN AFTER THE FLESH, not many mighty, not many noble, ARE CALLED:

BUT God hath CHOSEN the FOOLISH things of the world TO CONFOUND the wise; and God hath chosen the WEAK THINGS of the world to CONFOUND the things which are MIGHTY;

And BASE THINGS of the world, and things which are DESPISED, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

THAT NO FLESH SHOULD GLORY in HIS PRESENCE.

Job 11:7
CANST thou BY SEARCHING find out God? CANST THOU find out the Almighty UNTO PERFECTION?

Thank God you say Jesus is 'my Lord'. I want to assume He's also your Saviour.

I rest my case patapata!

Have a blessed Sunday!

AMORC is a school of thought to build your mind and consciousness, and it was founded in Egypt. Most learned men and women and proffs are members. You can as well find most pastors and so called men of God there.I've been there and I've read their monographs which is quite awesome.

You can either be a lodge at home, which means your monographs will be sent to you by mails and monographs are just study materials like those Jehova's witnesses awake and watch tower etc or you attend any of their lodges.

Mysticism is absolutely involved because indept knowledge about things of life doesn't come on a platter of gold and believe me,they are very intelligent people.
Most notable scientists such as Pythagoras and inventors were members and they actually helped to turn things around for the benefit of mankind.

I went went there when I was searching for a whole new dimension of life after exhausting all I thought I knew at that particular time.I actually went to seek for more knowledge because knowledge is power.

Life is all about choices.Your uncle has just tapped you. It's up to you to find out more about them and ask yourself if that's what you really want because it's a personal choice or decision you make which you have to live with for the rest of your life.

Asking for people's opinions on social media tells how much work you need to do to become a man because real men know what they want and what they don't want.

My advice: Ask yourself if you would be able to bear the ups and downs of becoming a member after you must have gotten some vital information about them.Never you make a decision based on what you think you're gaining from your uncle or how he would feel if you decline because you and your uncle are two different people with two different destinies.

When your uncle was literally catching fishes and giving you to aid your existence inside and outside school, you did not complain. When others close to you did not come to your aid, he came along...now out of the magnanimous of his heart, he wants to teach you how to catch that fish, and you are complaining?

Christian or not, if you do not see anything morally wrong with accepting financial help from him knowing fully well that, some of their sources might be questionable and might be traced to him been a member of AMORC, I do not see any reason for you objecting to follow him to that same place, where he might have been sourcing your sustenance from, for years now.

3. Join him in AMORC and you will start seeing life in a different way. They believe in law of Karma.

God is called several names in various cultures and belief systems. In my culture, it is called Oghene! In AMORC, GOD is simply GOD! We dont color it with any other name. Simple!!!

When we pray we say; "God of my heart, God of my realisation"!

If you do not like this, tolerate it. If you cant tolerate it, ignore it. If you cant ignore it, control yourself in other not to start up a WAR! He who starts WAR must repay his karmic debt.

To also correct your misconception, one needs basic logic in life. If you lack it, you lack "common sense".
or "Oh G*O*D of my realization". Truth is I was exposed to Rosicrucian materials early in life. I started reading Rosicrucian Digest at JS 1 & through out my Secondary school I was stumbling into one Rosicrucian magazine or the other mostly from my dad's shelve(I think he was interested in Rosicrucian when he was younger). Though my maternal grandfather was a Rosicrucian & went real far in his studies being close to him I really learnt a lot he simply advised me not to read his monograms, I even know his key number. I think he stopped paying his subscription after retirement & so his monogram stopped coming & he is a very goodman that I admire a lot & contributed his Civil engineering experience for free for the local Church Parish in the village till he passed on by this time last year. He enouraged I wrote to Calabar for mastery of life & it was sent when I was in my year 2 in university around 2007 but for fin incapacity I couldn't fill d membership form. I dropped the Idea of Rosicrucianism when I read GRAIL MESSAGE in 2009 & ever since then I have been a GRAIL MESSAGE adherent. Even now I still have Rosicrucian friends one was even the Master of a lodge I don't know if he is still he even gave me the mastery of life again last year but I did not fill it. I think I will prefer a Rosicrucian to most of the so called Christians out there though I have some personal reservations about some Rosicrucian teachings but they are not devils like the churches paint, that one is a fat lie

Amorc is NOT a religion, its a mystical organization committed to the study of mysteries of life and existence. Its focus is on world peace. Amorc welcomes any one from any religion and is not a satanic organization as many think. Your uncle loves you a lot, if he actually introduced you to Amorc. Just be prepared to read the monographs. I attended Amorc while in the University, and it has defined my life. I am successful at young age because I ventured into studies to know about God and the Universe. I have attended other organizations in my life, and I can say, Amorc is one of the very best and will introduce it to anyone.

And to those who will want to come here and tell me to give my life to Christ. While in Amorc, I was not only an active member of my church, I was actually preaching and taking sacraments.

Final note, Amorc is not anti-Christian, Anti-God or even Anti-Islam, the organization makes you understand your religion better.

Peace Profound.

grin grin grin here they are
The true origin of Rosicrucianism is unknown. Today there are two groups which claim to be representative of Rosicrucianism, the Rosicrucianism Fellowship in Oceanside, Calif., and the rival organization, the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) in San Jose, Calif. The latter group is adamant about being the faithful Rosicrucianism order.

The earliest authentically Rosicrucianism writings come from the 17th century. These anonymous works set forth the travels of the alleged founder of the order, one Christian Rosenkreutz. As the story goes, Rosenkreutz learned secrets about medicine and magic while on a trip to the Near East. Upon his return to Europe, he founded a secret fraternity whose members communicated in secret-coded writings.

The Rosicrucianism Order is syncretistic, meaning that it borrows ideas and beliefs from various other religions in an attempt to unify them under a central theme—wisdom about life after death has been preserved through the ages and is revealed only to the secret brotherhood (the Rosicrucians). There are strongly occultic teachings in Rosicrucianism, including ESP, clairvoyance, and spiritism. This goes right along with the secretive nature of Rosicrucianism because these activities are the playground of Satan and his demons, and Satan always shuns the light.

Regarding the principle Christian doctrines found in the Bible, the Rosicrucians believe the following:

Jesus Christ: According to Rosicrucianism, He was born of Gentile parents, did not die on the cross, did not ascend to heaven, and retired to the monastery in Carmel to carry on secret missions with His apostles.

Salvation: Rosicrucianism denies that a person must trust Christ as the only Savior. Their system is one of self-effort, their motto being “TRY.”

The Bible: Rosicrucianism rejects the divine authorship of the Bible and does not hold Scripture in any special favor.

As is the case with all false religion, Rosicrucianism is a lie from the father of lies, Satan, and as such it has many things in common with other false systems. First, it denies the authority of Scripture. We know from 2 Timothy 3:16 that “all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Every word of the Bible is inspired by God Himself (literally God-breathed), who moved the very hands and minds of each of the writers. Second, none of the claims regarding Jesus Christ conform to the Bible. Matthew 1:1-18 and Luke 3:23-28 affirm the long Jewish, not Gentile, ancestry of Jesus. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:17 that “if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.” Acts 1:9-11 and Matthew 24:30 confirm Christ’s ascension into heaven and His eventual return. The Jesus of the Rosicrucians is not the Jesus of the Bible.

As for the Rosicrucianism doctrine of self-effort, the Bible teaches that man is sinful from birth (Jeremiah 17:9) and incapable of doing enough good works to make him acceptable to a holy and perfectly righteous God. “For no human being will be justified in His sight by works of the law” (Romans 3:20). Man is, simply put, in desperate need of a Savior to do that for him. God has provided that Savior in His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sin and make us acceptable to God. He exchanged His perfect life for our sinful ones: “For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Finally, the secretive nature of Rosicrucianism is in direct contrast with the true faith, Christianity, which seeks to shout the message of Jesus Christ from the roof tops, as the Bible exhorts us: “What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light, and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).

Church is not a cult. A cult is where things are done secretly. No secrecy in churches, I mean real churches.
When I told you to befriend your dictionary, you refused. Below, is a definition of cult from google. Tell me if church, mosque, christian, Hindu, muslim e.t.c are not all under cults after reading it.
Cult : a particular system of religious worship, especially with reference to its rites and ceremonies. 2. an instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, especially as manifested by a body of admirers: the physical fitness cult.
