jacksparow: How does this work? I only claim miles with Emirates and that's cuz I go to Dubai often for work. With these other Klm/ BA I fly them maybe once in 2 or 3 years. Is it worth it to register for their loyalty scheme Abeg advice, so I don't nap ontop okada |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by jacksparow(m): 11:16pm On Dec 22, 2015 |
favoredgal: Well the same way you claim miles on Emirates is the same way you do on other airlines. you will have to register before you can claim. And what did you do with the ones claimed on Emirates? it can upgrade you to a higher class, sleep in a higher star hotel, even shop at selected stores or pay half ticket on on next trip or even give part of it to someone to also do all these same things. And the miles have a lifespan for you to claim it and use as well...helpful? 1 Like |

jacksparow: I never knew air miles were transferable? I lost like 40k worth of miles on Virgin some years ago as I didn't fly them in 3 years. Never knew the thing expired sef. It usually came in handy as I used to do miles+money then. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by jacksparow(m): 12:08am On Dec 23, 2015 |
bbaby84: Wow...40k worth of miles. That's 1st class return ticket sef. It does expire. That why it's called frequent flyer miles. For frequent travel. But when they see the frequency of travel, am sure those sort don't expire. An American in 2011 got up to 10 million miles from 6000 United flights that he started flying since 1982. How do u think he spends the miless. .. U may wish to call the airline just in case. Who knows...they are so transferable. when you sign in.to your frequent flyer page. Some airlines place it under manage third party something something. |

jacksparow: You don't want to know the kind of English I was speaking when I found out. Even the customer service operator was feeling sad on my behalf. I've moved on o. I think I have 9k at the moment. I don't have for Emirates and BA though I should. I don't travel as much as I used to pre- kids as we have school fees, formula and diaper etc commitments. 2 Likes |

jacksparow: The Emirates one, I haven't done anything with it yet, im at the upper limit of silver cuz we fly biz class for work. I seriously Considered using it for this waka, but the Israelite journey to Houston (16 hours from Dubai) after 7 hours to Dubai, put me off. Will use it for personal vacay next year or something. Let me go back on Klm and try to claim this one, although have no idea when next I will be flying KlM again But if I aggregate mine, Dh, my mum and my daughter it may amount to something How many points do you have on Emirates? |
