A picture of the problem should paint a clearer response.

But I'll jst go ahead and point out one or two things that could be the cause.
-Slow/No Internet Connection
-Even Slower Internet Connection(happens when your apps are competing for the best Internet speed.. Youtube+Playstore on 2G/3G=Disaster/Not Good)

These could help

-Force close PlayStore, Play Services, and Services Framework
-Clear data on PlayStore and Play Services

If it still persists,
-Rreboot into recovery
-Wipe dalvik-cache and cache
-Reboot.

It could most likely be a bug from the Rom. Something is force closing Services Framework. Before downloading, go to Running apps and close down the ones u won't be needing.

I also experience this and I found out its network. The download will pause due to network glitches and may not pick up on its own. So what I do is to go airplane mode and switch back on the network and the downloading will pick up from where it stops. Are you using glo?

cos you're still using Normal mode as your Power management. Put it in None and it will stop closing by it self.

No need of putting it in none. Asides most of us don't like d white background.

If you have any problems concerning this phone. Ready to be of help(5C2D0D73). Asides rooting, if u are in Kano, u have the chance till next week wednesday, then abuja (Thursday) and finally oshogbo (Saturday). You will have to dash me little cash for rooting only though. Others are free of charge.
