Now that is a video someone uploaded that we don't know how true it is. Let the army come out and clear the ground as to what really happened. Even when that is done the sect members and the public has the right to question and even protest their claims and act. What the army has just done is to use their uniform to want to intimidate civilians. They can't force what they have claimed to be fact to be accepted by all. And yes there are territories you would enter and it will require the understanding of the sect leader and the army for them to enter, go out or remain on the spot. That they are officers does not give them any right to step in anywhere, anytime and do their wish. There must be a check or else we will be leading an anarchic government. I hope you understand my view
Zoharariel:
The ugly truth is; the Nigerian Army is not to be blamed over the shiite massacre. We all watched the video where the shiite miscreants had a violent confrontation with the convoy of the COAS. To make matter worse, they were saying only Mallam (i.e Sheik Zakzaky) could order them to give way. The question is; who tha f.uck is Sheik Zakzaky in Nigeria? Since when did Nigeria turn to Lebanon or Iran? If an ordinary local imam could waylay a whole COAS in a secular Nation like Nigeria, and on a road built by the FG, then the Ayatollah of Iran had just been sworn in as the new President of Nigeria.

Instead of the foolish Sheik to chastise his miscreants & call them to order, they were bent on committing suicide by clashing with a standing Army over some religious myth & lies, watered & propagated by a blatant liar who claimed to have received some mind-boggling & brainwashing revelations from Angel Gabriel a.k.a Elohim Nusku - who coincidentally happened to be 1 of the Anunnaki extraterrestrials that came to Earth from the Planet of Nibiru.

Africa is really doomed and we will never acknowledge the immense damage that religion has done to brainwash & transform our people into humanoid robots & zombies - Nna Mehn, I'm outta here!

No matter what, that doesn't give the Army right to open fire on arm-less civilians. What happen to shooting tear-gas to disperse them. Nigeria is not the first country were protesters blocked a public road. There is no value of life in nigeria. And pple like you who support the massacre of unarmed civilians by army are the problem of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Senseless heartless beings with no value for life

Igbos are really trying hard to cause trouble in Nigeria. They saw this shite/army incident as an opportunity.
In iran the Ayatollah is the head and the president of the country pay allegiance to him. The shites want the same system in Nigeria. They must be drunk by blocking the Chief of army staff from usage of a road. If the chief of army staff had yielded and turned back this would have been the end of a country called Nigeria. Nobody is looking at this angle. All we are looking at is another opportunity has come and we must use it to cause trouble in Nigeria.

Why then did the ediotic army went back to Shiites d next day in their various homes and places of worship to kill them if it's never an arranged game. I have seen the same scenario happen between cops and nigerian university students. even those students set fire under the police tank before they were dispersed with tear gas. even under direct threat those policemen handled the case with maturity and precise use of anti-riot firepower. Those soldiers could have handled the situation better if they had wanted to.

There was no actual footage of anyone being harmed in the video you spoke of and the very part that would have been interesting was conveniently removed from the video so we can't really say who attacked first. Remember the soldiers had wanted to shoot from the very start if not for the order not to open fire from their boss at the start of the video. I believe two media outlets had their cameramen in the COAS convoy. They should have the full video.

Lastly no person or group should be a menace to the generality of citizens but i maintain that the same scenario could have been handled better in advanced countries as well as in nigeria if there is the will just as the cops above did.

No matter the provocation, the Army has no constitutional right to trample on civilians. The video is frankly irrelevant, what happened is full massacre by an unprofessional army. The COAS is a war criminal and should be dealt with as such. I don't do religion because black people and religion are not compatible, but justice has been denied this minority Islamic people by the majority Islamic bullies.

the COAS has no right to killing people when not at war. in sane societies, Buratashi should be in jail by now awaiting conviction . what the Shiite did is wrong but it is not a justification for the massacre.....
it is time we educate the NA on relationship with civilians......they are law breakers..they drive against traffic , they dont obey traffic rules , harass citizens etc...because no one can arrest them or caution them ..in short they are like beasts.... where in sane climate do you have set of lawless people worse than the Nigerian army ?
you should be ashamed posting this piece except you are also part of them?

The killings of shitte in zaria has nothing to do with the sunni. Shitte are claiming an authority and they think they are above the law. what ever kind of law stated in the country the shitte can boast of goiin against it, they dont ask but they take, they feel they are unstoppable.
Stopping high profile men from passage was a normal thing, even when they are not performing any occation as long as their leader is passing, then every body must stop.
the shitte once stopped late rilwanu lukman former minister of petroleum from passage, he has to turn back and cancel his appointment. Followed by the emire of zaria as it even went brutal when his body guards tried using force, the king manage to escape the scene with broken glasses on his car. Earlier this year they stopped a whole governor yero from passage as he was patient and ask his security men not to take any actions. Finally they went further to stop a whole COAS, meeehn they have gone too far this time.

It is obvious that the killings of shitte was not just because they refuse to give passage, but because they where on the black list of this government. there cannot be two government in a country, one must fall. the government have security report of weapons they posseses, they have security report of soldiers his raising, the shitte is a treat to this givernment.

Finally, what I observe with nigerian soldiers is that it dosnt matter whether if you are shitte or sunni, whether christian or pagan, whether ipob or massob, whether hausa , yoruba or igbo, if you mess up with them, they will just waste you.
i totally agree wit u my bro.nobody is above d law.if u break d law wait for d consequeses.u r nt afraid of daring COAS.who d Bleep is el-zakky?

The Sunni Muslims are simply trying to destroy the Shi'ite of Nigeria . Everybody with an ounce of decency should show some outrage over this religious cleansing and let the terrorist Sunnis know how unacceptable this is. Nigerians who are unbiased know shi'ite as peaceful people, unlike the Sunnis who have nothing to contribute to mankind except suicide bombing. Buhari has confirmed the accusation that he's a Sunni fundamentalist fanatic, with obvious bias and intolerance against other faiths. Nigeria is a secular state, no religion should be allowed to destroy another because the constitution guarantees that. It is quite shocking that Buhari is using the state military apparatus to kill fellow Nigerians on the basis of their religious beliefs.
