But in this regard,we should be considerate towards God himself.
He must feel pained to see the world this way..still he's willing to let you choose your own way.
Lol... you not serious!..... are you saying God never knew the world was going to be this way? There's a book of the Bible named Revelations... I guess you haven't gotten there as yet!

I doubt if anyone knows the precise birth date. It is just a day agreed to mark the celebration of the birth of Christ. By the way, some folks think it has a pagan origin of some sort. They may be right or wrong, what matters is that anything done in the name of the Lord on any day overrides what ever event is being honoured on that date because just as Christ is Lord over sabbath, so is He Lord over any other day or season.

That is what you think but ask yourself, is this how God sees it?
That whatever is done in the name of the Lord overrides whatever event is being honored on that day. Can you back this up with the Bible.

The sabbath you mentioned was originated by God, it is holy. So, it doesn't fit in this context.

Satan is wicked and deceptive. He uses good and normal things to deceive us into sinning. The apple eaten by eve was GOOD for food. He deceived Eve. He tried using something holy to deceive Jesus in the wilderness, He used food, he also used the Bible to support his deception but Jesus was wiser.

Today Satan is using so many good things to make us sin; Money, love, material things, Celebrations etc.

God has lovingly advised us to seek what is of the spirit and pay less attention to things of the flesh. In today's world the opposite is what's acceptable.

Birthday is idolatry. Studies has shown that the main believe behind this celebration is idol worshiping, the gifts and candles involved is a clear indication. They believed that there is a spirit that protects a person from birth. The birthday gifts given to the celebrant is a sacrifice to that spirit. Especially the cake and candles.

Has anyone ever wondered why none of God's prophets, Jesus himself, any of his disciples and first century Christians ever celebrates any birthday?
In the Bible, the only two people who celebrated birthdays are chronic idol worshipers.

So, because the world is following this path, should we all follow. They have brought in idolatry into Christianity and we have accepted without thinking or applying what the scripture says. —2 Corinthians 6:17.

What is more important, our own made ways of serving God or the way God himself have stated in the scripture?

If you want to celebrate Christmas, fine and good but you need to know the dark origin of the celebration.

“When we give or receive Christmas gifts, and hang green wreaths in our homes and churches, how many of us know that we are probably observing pagan customs?”—The Externals of the Catholic Church

I'll advice that u read the whole of Romans 14. Digest and understand it under the atmosphere of the Holy Spirit

And what makes you confident that what I think is wrong? Anyway...that's your opinion.

1. Matt 18:18 whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. This was clearly reflected when Paul went to Athens and found them worshipping an idol. The altar was captioned 'to an unknown' God. From this base point, he turned things around by referring to God as the unknown being they were worshipping. When ever a christian blesses anything, he exercises authority over that thing because he is backed up by a higher governing council.

2. Col 2:16. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect to an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days. Paul proclaimed the believers authority on earth because of Christ.

There are several scriptures I'd like to highlight but its best u get the revelation your self. Study 1cor8, Rom 14. Christianity is bigger than these things. The authority we wield gives us freedom. What ever is done should be done out of revelation and faith.

If one considers a day to be holy, let him be because he is doing it to honour God. If another man considers it to be unholy, let him be because he is doing it out of reverence for God. Don't let your belief system stop another man from pleasing God.

This is the love and freedom christ provides and speaks of.

Some parents alive today cannot tell you the exact date of their birth, but whichever date they chose to take is never questioned. Bible said what you agreed here on earth is also agreed in heaven. Since Christians have decided to celebrate christ birth every 25 Dec, it is also celebrated in Heaven. Trust me

Nissan 14 is a date. It's a day in Jesus' life, close to his death. You need more info, we will open the Bible and show you. Not like people who speak and teach only from their personal perceptions and understanding.

I don't need to read it. I have studied it and I have full understanding of the whole chapter.

I am not judging nobody.... 14:10,13
You are responsible for how you worship God.. 14:12
You should study from verse 17 downward... You need it. Verse 20 says: anything not based on faith is a sin. If you doubt it lasan, when it comes to spiritual things, DON'T DO IT.

the people of old that celebrated their birthdays were pagans. No follower of the true God did such.

Christ is not the reason you are celebrating christmas cos he never ordered such. Was he the one that formulated father christmas, the xmas trees, the disco lights, the drinks, the carols, bangers etc? Did any of his disciples and the early church fathers who knew him face to face celebrate such?

Heaven can't rejoice with you concerning what the owner of heaven never ordained. Christ only told us to remember him using the lord's supper, not some pagan birthday.

Maybe you and your household are celebrating pagan birthday, for me and my household,we are celebrating with the Heaven's on the birthday of the second person of the trinity (Jesus Christ)

Ask Dasuki
Is greeting Christians or others with the traditional Christmas greeting “merry Christmas” or “happy Christmas” permissible in Islam?
It is not permissible for a Muslim to greet Christians with the traditional Christmas greeting because it means celebrating the day of “God’s” birth – a concept absolutely abhorrent to Muslims and in direct contradiction to the Qur’aanic verse, “He (Allah) did not give birth nor was He born.” (Qur'an 112:3)
The date of birth of Prophet Jesus, like that of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them both) was unknown and it was chosen to match the Saturnalia, the festival of the harvest dedicated to the Roman god of the harvest, Saturn. Christians did not celebrate the birth of Christ for the first 3 centuries after Jesus’ departure because birthday celebration was a known pagan practice. Similarly, Muslims did not celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday until 4 centuries after his death. The practice was started on a state scale by the Fatimid Shi’ite caliphate in Egypt and the date of the Prophet’s death was chosen for the celebration.

Since the date doesn't matter but the purpose why haven't you ever celebrated your own birth anniversary in another month?

Don't talk like a Jew. Nobody alive has a record of when exactly Jesus was born, unlike you who has a birth certificate. Simple

The exact date of Christ's birth is of little significance. The fact remains that christmas has come to be the most celebrated holiday on the calender. It augurs well that it continues to serve as a pointer to the reality of Christ's existence.
It is very unlikely that i will go to hell because i ate a bit of rice and chicken on the 25 of december.
Re: Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? by bee444: 4:36pm On Dec 25, 2015
Jesus was born on Christmas but not the actual date. A date has to be fixed. And a special day has to be agreed. Birth record couldnt be traced. But the season and year was known.
