I do not hate Igbo's neither am I jealous of them( not like there was anything to be jealous of anyways). i dislike myopic humans in general. I dont live on your land either. you people always cheated in ways that are incomprehensible, to the point that feel this list has been distorted in the disfavour of igbos.

the way and manner your nnamdi KANU goes about insulting the hausa/Fulani and Yoruba's is alarming even tho I am not from those listed tribes. the other day, on getting to know about helicopter crash, he said " if the deceased were Hausa/Fulani or Yoruba then good riddance". I have no hatred for igbos, but they can fight for their course in better ways than raining insults on innocent people.

This thread is quite funny. A bunch of you are feeling suprerior to others because your land happens to have resources in it. Something which is a natural occurance not a human achievement but some of you are going on about it like you guys are better because yam happens to grow in your area. A few qs for those of you.

1. What good is having all these resources when you don't even exploit them properly?

2.I've been reading Nairaland for a while and I notice no matter the topic you guys must turn it into a tribalistic topic. Be it education , entertainment, etc why? you people are all supposedly grown men and women acting like children. Infact Some of you will probably respond to me with an insult.

3. You guys act like a nation can't sustain itself without Natural resources. Have you guys heard of Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore , South Korea? This countries have no natural resources yet they are world leaders.

4. Why do must every thread turn into Igbo bashing threads? Then you guys wonder why Igbo people feel marganalized in Nigeria and don't want to be a part of it. Why would they when Nigerians are constantly spewing hate towards them? A perfect example is this thread. What should have been a great thread about Nigeria's potential turned into Igbo bashing thread before any Igbo person said anything. The fact that some of you guys have an obsession with Igbo people says a lot.

But since you guys want to bash Igbos...... who are the most Industrious people in Nigeria? Who controls most of the Industry in Nigeria? Who runs Nollywood? For those of you who believe Igboland has no resources at least what they lack in resources they make up in brains.
The most developed countries tend to have more people working in Secondary (Industry) and Tertiary (Services) activities. You guys should celebrate actual Human achievements not the fact that yam or rice happens to grow in you state.

but seriously some of you people need to grow up. I believe in One Nigeria (With regional federalism) to achieve this each Individual needs to do his part and remove tribalism. Our biggest problem in Nigeria is not each other, it is our politicians.

Shut up, and read to understand . . . BTW, remember to be articulate and coherent while at it.

My point was, Ondo state is supposed to be the richest state in the country (probably after Lagos) with all those resources if properly managed.
