To Boot into recovery mode on an Itel phone:
1. Remove the battery then slot back in
2. Press and hold the Power button
3. Press and hold the Volume decrease (Volume -) button
4. Immediately you see the Itel boot animation, release both buttons (Power & Volume decrease )
5. You should see a green Android lying on its back.
6. Press the Volume increase button to proceed to recovery mode
7. You should now be in recovery mode
8. Use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select

My itel 1406 refuses to install xposed framework, it installs and says it's installed but displays warning that it might not be installed... Any solutions?

Which version of Xposed installer and gravitybox are you using? It seems to me that my it1406 won't accept gravitybox and has some issues with xPosed. plz assist me.

Hi Tintinnoty, to get into recovery mode, you need to turn off your phohe first, then press power button and volume down button at the same time. After entering factory mode, use volume keys to choose "eMMC", then press power button. If it doesn't work, you can take your phone, along with your receipt and warranty card, to our Carlcare Service Center and ask our colleagues to check it for you. only version 2.5.1 works for reasons I'm yet to fathom.

The screen is pressing on its own. I've spent #5000 on screen replacement for two different times

It's the capacitor not the screen. That person who keeps fixing for you a new screen is messing with you. Had same issue with an old Tecno N3S

Well the screen is just a piece of plastic or glass but what we really touch is the capacitor. If this get damaged even slightly then your device will start to misbehave. It normally spoils when phone dropped or water enters device.

pls, my itel 1503 just developed some faults. if I power on, the device just keep hanging and lagging. I don't know what the problem is. any advice?
