I wrote my test in July and interview/exco chat on August 3rd for personal banker. Still no medical invite? The HR of this bank should not keep candidates in dark. There should be updates and reassurance from time to time. Naija companies sha. Well I'm moving on! Focusing 100percent on my present employers. Bye folks!! Happy new year.

Is this how recruitments go generally in banks? I mean this is Killing!

Almost a year. Started this since March, done medicals and all they keep saying is that one should hold on. Haba !!

Some banks are faster while others are slow. Heard they have expansion plans next year sha... So they would just keep people in view because on-boarding people before the new branches are on ground means massive cost for them in terms of salary payments... My thinking though!

I also wrote the test early last week (Dec), for experienced position.
I know the result will be positive.
Still awaiting my success mail from them and invite for an interview.

Your monthly or quarterly statement will do. If you dont have it you can mail them and request for it.

They should have been sending you email alerts. You may print it and present. You can also print a certificate online or request for a statement of account. Any of them will suffice.

I guess they are tryna fill the vacancies now that's why they remembered us that had Ed interview in august...

Thanks bruv... The issue is My PFA only send alerts via text... Though I mailed them last week demanding my statement via e-mail. They should send it after the holiday.

Also, as at when I had my interview, I was fresh from NYSC so I negotiated "fairly" when asked about how much i would love to earn. Now I'm currently in the banking sector with over 4 months experience.... Can I renegotiate?

If the chance comes please do but don't be the one to initiate the renegotiation. Let them bring it up then tell them what you want.

what of those of us that doesn't even have any evidence of payment. All the places I'v worked payment are made in cash and nothing like pension. I just left the space empty and told them my office does not do all that. I hope it doesn't affect me

You are good bro. I am sure it won't affect your chances...but at the end you will have to register with a PFA.
