Good evening every nairalander, every guest, happy 2016 in advance...

This post is in no way trying to bring down nairaland, but to help promote Nigeria biggest forum to become the world biggest forum.

Here is a thread opened for suggestions from nairalanders on how to improve the forum to become a better one, since nobody is an island of knowledge, let's make suggestions and together we can help push nairaland to the world stage...

Disclaimer: This post was in no way sponsored by NL founder Seun Osewa,it's just me a s a concerned nairalander..

1..People who like and share your post should be made visible, just like facebook..

2 Since it's a forum where different people share opinions,I think a Dislike button should be introduced...

3..Less thread about sexual relationship should be making Frontpage, there was a time this year I got really tired of it...

4..Word sensor should be cancelled in the sexuality section...

5..No matter the level of offense committed,no ban should expand more than a month, enough of the ten years ban, this will help reduce number of multiple accounts owned by just a single person

6...Wonder why sport threads aren't making FP as often

Over to you nairalanders, your suggestions please..

I have no problem at all with the current system.. But, I think the block or unfriend button should be introduced.

Seun, I'm still expecting my end of the year gift!wink

Really? You don't expect a persistent porn spammer to earn one month ban, nooo. You don't expect a moniker dedicated to advertising and spamming of threads with advert links and pictures to earn just a month ban. Hope u get me.

That's one of the benefits people derive from being members of the forum. When they write about their relationship problems, they are featured on home page, they get the advice they want. You see that such threads often get up to 7-20pages, depending on how interesting or controversial the topic is.

I understand brah, but there is a higher likelihood the banned spammer would still create another account under different name

And also most of those thread are recycled
