When you apply for visa with a Bus admin course or with an IT course, which one has more chances for visa approval?

An invitation for medicals is about 99% that u would be given visa. If everything goes well.

You can start gathering all the pertinent documents together now and apply as soon as possible preferably 3-4 months before start date.

Pls I need advice/guidance... I am about applying for trv to study Project Mgt (Post Degree Diploma Programme) at U of W. I also plan to apply for visitor visa for my wife and 2 kids along with my application, so they can come visit me during d period of my study...below are the docs I have arranged to submit:

For me: All cic forms,offer letter of previous and current employment, SOA of 3.5m(joint name of me and my wife), salary SOA of 350k, SOP, pension statement of abt 1.8m, CSCS statement, 3 land deeds + 2 land receipts, 1 vehicle doc, marriage cert, birth cert of me, wife and kids, deed of contract showing joint venture biz with a friend, bank ref letter, ref letter from UG school, police cert, LOA, receipt of full tuition payment, UG transcript, NYSC cert, WAEC cert, UG cert, family pics, old and new passport

For wife and kids: cic forms, letter of consent from me, cert of biz reg, coy SOA of 1.3m, bank ref letter, birth cert of wife n kids, family pics.

NB: I am currently working with a commercial bank with 8yrs experience, and studied Political science in UG and have MBA Human Resources (altho I don't have a cert yet but I was given "to whom it may concern" letter)

Please what are my chances for getting trv for me and my family?

1. Statement of account from company(7.5m as closing balance)
2. Letter of sponsorship from company, stated the amount the company authorized for me.

6. Personal investment statement of account (about 1.2m)
7. Bank reference letter.

1.Police character certificate
2.Birth certificate of my siblings

I don't think so.. I paid n I forgot to add it but I still got my TRV. Even with out SOP.

Yea, it's possible. My friend paid full tuition fees too, without Police clearance and SOP, he got TRV

Read the statement again, I said IF. It's not a must.

VOs understand that you might have the opportunity to legally stay in Canada after finishing school.

But what they want to know is that you would move back to Nigeria if you can't legally stay in Canada anymore. Since your current application is in the non-immigrant category, the burden of proof is on you to prove that you have plans on what to do in Nigeria when you finish school.

Don't build castles in the sky about PR, one step at a time. The VO needs to know that you have plans for what to do in Naija after your Canada education; your goals of PR are a non-starter at this point.

forget about studying medicine in Canada. It's similar to a camel trying to go through the eye of a needle.

Unless you are a Canadian citizen/permanent resident, then your chances are almost nil.

Medical school in Canada is mostly similar to the USA. It is a second degree... i.e. get a BSc in a related area and then apply to medical school thereafter.

Try some Google searches to learn more.

If I am the VO, I will deny your application without much considerations. You don't look like you wanna come here to study but just looking for ways to move your family out of the country.

If you still have your job and a descent life in Nigeria, I would even advise you against rushing out here to study..

Having said that, as a first guide towards your study permit application, I will advise that you halt application for wife and kids...let them serve as your home ties... apply alone.. your wife can join you later with the kids on a spousal work permit...

Who is the owner of the company and why do they want to sponsor you?.. That's the only question that will roll through my head as the VO.. do you have any document to prove their genuine purp of sponsorship?.. have they sponsored any other person in the past?.. why you?
