my amd system HP 650 is terribly slow. it picks up under low temperatures. I largely suspect the CPU while others say it's a virus attack. I need clues about this problem.

What Operating System is your computer running? How much of physical RAM is installed?

It's not virus that's for certain, Amd cpus are known to have overheating issues so watch where you use it the ventilation and such, also your OS is most likely the problem, upgrade to Windows 10 asap if you haven't already.
