Hi everyone,
I am new here but I love this forum as it is currently giving me so much info.

I got a mail from the British deputy high commission stating thus

A decision has been made on your UK visa application. Your application will be despatched within 48 hrs. If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, please disregard as they cannot. You should not expect to receive any further notification from this office.

Yours sincerely,

Lagos Visa Section

Please does this connote refusal or I should wait till I get my package back.

Hello hello Nairalanders, my 28 days period ends on 31st of December and I am looking to book appointment for 4th of January.
1. can I submit my application online (on 1st of January) before I print my bank statement (4th of January)? Or is it a must to print bank statement before submission online
2. Due to the recent restrictions placed on making online fx transactions effective from 1st January, can I make my payment on 31st of December? (the 28th day). I am sacred of not being able to make the payment after 31st December due to the restriction sad sad sad

Go on Google, look up schools and you will find out!
If you can not look up something simple like that how will you do medical degree?
Will you ask for all the answers on a forum?
Are you too lazy?

A bank statement is acceptable as long as it was printed less than a month before the date of application

i think you should contact TLS through the complaints link on your TLS profile. since UKVI has done their part, TLS deals with transport and other logistics, they should be able to give you information on the location of your documents. i hope this helps

Good morning everyone, please has anybody been able to pay for IHS and Visa fee this year? Kindly help me out on how it was done. Thanks
I went thru hell before i could finally pay, and I had 2 dependants to pay for. Most of the banks have reduced their limit to $300 per day, even stanbic that was $1000 is now $350 per day. Luckily I was able to use union bank to pay for IHS cos their limit is $500, but that is not enough to pay for the application fee. I had to use my bro's uk visa card, he was in Nigeria for holidays, and I gave him the Naira equivalent. Also somone's GTB worked but it is a special case cos the bank increased his limit on the card like 2 years ago when he was travelling for studies. I heard that one can also use paga.
