Congratulations to you on your pregnancy Apeke. From you post, it looks like this is your first pregnancy, we are all happy for you. As a matter-of-fact, your case isn't at all peculiar; people have been issued visas they never used on this thread and there is no way that is a crime. If you're applying for a renewal though, you should be prepared to answer why you were given arguably, the most highly coveted visa in the world yet didn't use it. I don't have answers to your third question but to the first one: I've also read on this thread that you can land on US soil with a valid visa even if your visa would have expired by your planned departure date since you will be stamped in for a stipulated period of up to 6 months. Other people have opined that you should renew before expiration of that visa. Whatever you do, please remember to inform the embassy the purpose of your travel. It may be a good idea to also seek clarification from them regarding your second inquiry. Congrats once again Apeke1991: 1 Like |

Enizo: In ma reply from embassy for change of intent , was adviced to hold receipts during "this particular visit" and future visa interviews. So just decided to make some deposit out of the projected cost to the doctor (but total projected cost covers doctor, hospital, pead, labs n prob epidural). |

Hello! Everyone in d house. I need to make an enquiry from the forum: 1. Has anyone recently used West Houston Med Centre? 2. How fast do they prepare birth certificate, and prepare zero balance letter? 3. How is their bill like? Thanks for anticipated response. |

Pls my pple, lets not make the mistake of coming back here on vacation without reciepts n 0 balance. Sm1 i know was alrdy separated for deportation in Houston, though they had given her a very hard time before they even asked for reciepts at all. They emphasised more on if she told the embassy before having her baby there last year, she was held for 10.5hrs.... , the intimidation no be here. she will give the full low down. God took control n the new shift of cbps let her go at the end, but it was so unfair. She said someone was even bundled away in handcuffs. With the lil i heard overnight, pple that had it pretty smooth in houston Poe should thank God, they dont like the idea at all. Her crime was holding green n blue passport together. Pls lets try to be honest, esp now that its made easy. When i was having my 1st child about 6yrs ago, i didnt think admitting was even an option at all, but a lot has changed n i have peace of mind that i admitted on this 3rd missionary journey. Pls lets do the needful. God is with us. 11 Likes |

Apeke1991:my hubby's second us visa wasn't used(we weren't married then) He didn't av d time to travel. And he did drop box and was given a visa. 1. Yes u can renew it before it expires. (That's what my hubby usually do.. More like a habit) 2. From my above comment, u can see it's not a crime not to use ur visa. |

Hi. Renew via drop box in 2016. if you are due in August, then it means you should be travelling some time June-ish. So you should plan to renew well in advance. Fill a ds160 form for a B2 visa and make sure you have all your doctor and hospital correspondence and all other documents just incase you get called for an interview. However, you can opt not to renew your visa and send a letter of intent via email to the embassy before you travel and hope to be stamped in for 6 months on arrival at poe. Apeke1991: |
