With respects to some issues raised above and some common misconceptions I'll like to ask the following questions;


1.) Can someone help to define...
a) Spirit
b) Soul.
Also how can we effectively differentiate between the two(spirit and soul).

2.) How can we develop/feed the spirit and the soul.

spirit: the real you. your link to God. the person you are. the one will go to heaven

body: container. casing just like phone. dust. vanity.

soul: the seat of your emotions, will , intellect, reason. like your sim card, placed inside your spirit. able to be possessed or manipulated by dark forces


to feed the spirit:
1. read the bible.
2. mediate on the bible (thats the primary food)


to feed the soul:
1. LISTEN TO CHRISTAIN MUSIC. music is the food of the soul

2 . listen to christian praises esp at night

3. listen to wholesome teaching and preaching.

God bless you all... I need some advice... I previously danced to worldly music I.e Micheal Jackson moonwalker in times past... but then even as a solid zealous Christian ..I noticed an error. I noticed distractions of these past obsessive music even though I pragmatic and determined never to play or hear them..I resist them highly, loathe after its deceptive tricks and evil passion of flesh because of how evil the instruments and music intentions are, so for long time, I never like wordly music.. here is the contention, I noticed that most times, I unconsciously sing micheal Jackson songs or it sings in my thoughts and I unknowingly dance to the rythm depending on where my mood swings to .. (note: this is not frequent tho, rarely occurs but very strong when it happens ) I have renouced every thing relating to demonic music but Micheal jackson is a perfect depiction of satan appearing as an angel of light.. mistake I made in time past which I am correcting now... seems he used bewitching spells on his followers-- not too sure. but please SOME one help me on what to do.. I have resisted this influence several times and even if it was. a food for the soul.. if the person decides his soul will not feed on this evil music.. its enough!! I resist in Jesus Name but it comes later when I least expect or know. does this music truly have some spiritual connotations., words have come to me like fasting about it because I was now thinking maybe it's all just a part of my past memory a Christian don't forget or hope it is not some demonic influence

Over the years, your mind has processed and stored in the lyrics of this music, so its acting out what it has absolved. Now you are going through mind regeneration and renewal, give it time, your mind will censor and take in what you now want it to take in.

For me right now, my consciousness does not allow certain things. This could be extreme, I don't know. I listen only to Nigerian Infor Radio, that's because, they hardly play music. if they start, I switch it off.

Its only on Public Transport that I can be and they play their music. or wen a neighbour is playing. I don't know how it got to this extent, but I don't nod my head, or tap my toe as they sing. like I said, it could be extreme.

I don't watch TV randomly. I watch films with a remote in my hand, fast forwarding every now and then. or change channels if they start their romantic scenes. I don't read Romance Novels. Jackie Collin's kind of books.

On the 23Dec. a friend wanted me to follow her out, she knew if she told me the kind of party, I won't go, so she lied and said, it was a get together of few friends. And that the main organiser was a Winners Chapel Member. So, I went out with her. When we got there, it was like the whole street was present.

Very loud music, free flow of Alcohol, Come see dance nah. serious body touching dance. It was a clear case of debauchery.

I needed to leave that place fast, because I, all of a sudden I became very uncomfortable staying there. I just told myself that, demons roam places like that looking for hosts.

God heard my prayer, because light went out. I had the chance to tell my friend that I needed to leave that place fast, because I was in a wrong place.
Am considering cutting off that friendship, anyone who will make me compromise, shdnt be my regular friend.

Spiritual Warfare is not fighting against Witches and Wizards. Its fighting the OLD YOU. ( SELF). Its hard to win this war, but if u mean it, you will.

thank you my sister ,it's really weird because it's actually extreme.. maybe the times of obsession.. all those is strange dance move I just do them like I am pushed unconsiously to do them.. maybe past shadows.. what can I do.. it sings in my head like tunes, my concern is that this dance don't glorify God like that of David.. I was too obsessive about Micheal and danced his moves even in night or any where most especially when am alone at school.. even that evil song called thriller

BASIC POINTS ABOUT DREAM
1....You need to know that things goes slower in the dream world than we have it in this natural world i.e., It's faster here than there 5 minutes in the dream world = about 1 hour in the natural world; hence 1 hour spent by a dreamer in the dream world is about 12 hours of being asleep in the natural world! No wonder a thousand years (In the natural world) is like a day in the sight of God/spiritual kingdoms. 2Peter 3:8.

3...Dream is one of the ways God interprets man's destiny to man through man's spirit-soul, but if the natural, spirit-soul of man was not sealed with a measure of Holy Spirit, understanding of one's dreams will not be an easy task.

4.... Dream has to do mainly of the future, except when reference of the past is needed to enable the dreamer comprehend his/her dream.

5...In dream, edible food, are not meant to be eaten for any reason. Eating in dream is not lawful to the spirit-soul just as eating the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not lawful to Adam & Eve.

6.... In rare cases, a dreamer's spirit-soul can meet another real person's spirit-soul who coincidentally was dreaming at the same time of the same night. In a case of this nature, the two persons involved can know that their real spirit-soul met in dream. If the discuss in the dream face to face in the natural world, each of them can tell what actually took place in the dream.


7...When the spirit-soul of the living human agent of the devil meet in dream, all of them will easily know when they woke up from sleep. The greatest enemy of of the believer is SELF... A thorough look into the new testament(especially the Pauline epistles) will open our eyes to this truth. The devil and his minions cannot fully operate in the life of a man who perpetually keeps 'himself and his body under'

There is much emphasis on witches, wizards and the likes in some places today with little talk on overcoming self and sin. Witches, wizards, demons etc are real but they remain under our feet when we 'walk in the Spirit' and do not yield to the flesh. Yielding to the flesh is quite a deep subject too.

Spiritual warfare starts from conquering the self life and then dealing with the devil, witches, wizards etc by the power of the Spirit. If we are still involved in worldliness, lust, drunkenness etc, we don't have the legal ground to battle d devil.

Conclusively, John 14:30...Jesus said the devil came to him and found nothing that was of him. The devil had no hold on Christ because the Lord Jesus had none of his property / attribute in him.

I was a big fan of Bone Thugs n Harmony. If there ever was a hip hop group with links to the occult, it is Bone Thugs. I mean I couldn't get over the speed with which they rapped. My favorite track was Crossroads, and if you watched the video, there is a spirit of death that goes harvesting souls of those who have just died and leads them to a mountain which is called Crossroads. Another guy who got to me was Bob Marley, No Woman no Cry and Redemption Song.

What worked for me was as I substituted these for pure worship music, I thought less about them. The frequency of thinking about them died off. I realized that thinking more about it as an attempt to get the music and obsession off my head became an obsession itself. Just start praying and singing in the spirit when these thoughts flood you and it shall be well with your soul

I had an interesting dream today. We were on a safari, a trip through some uninhabited place like mountainous and forested place. I think I was in company of my past school mates.

Then there were huge cracks developing on the surface of the earth and rocks were moving and falling. If you watched the cracks that followed the Nepal earthquake earlier this year, it was like that( see the image below). I don't recall anyone falling into them but there was a real danger of tripping and we were afraid.

Then my dad shows up and advised us against stepping on the smaller cracks as they were developing into bigger ones suddenly and they could swallow us alive.

There are bits about people's neck I can't quite recall.

Then I woke up

bro analice has perfectly replied you. the only thing i will add is in the spiritual world, there can't be a vacuum. so if you are praying for the removal of the old self (the old worldly songs) then u must ensure you put on the new self (new christain songs) always memorize new christain songs, new bible verses. Note that your spirit man doesnt sleep. so when your body sleeps, your spirit man (the real you ) is musch alive. play christain songs and sleep off. I want to share my personal experiences on this thread.

It is dangerous for people to dabble into the occult. I grew up in the north so it was easy assessing demonic powers and principalities. As a teenager, I have started visiting Mallams and Herbalists for charms and magical potions. I took love potions to enable attract girls, took potions to make me extraordinary in my academics (Astra brain power laced with Quranic verses), potion to make my Aura Shine brighter thereby making me get favors etc.
It eventually opened me up to demonic Manipulation and oppression.
No good gifts come from the devil..
I can categorically tell you that what I listed above is what most people Crave for.

can you explain the mystery of seeign a particular crystal floating object like the shape of a snake with my right eye.I cannot feel it nor touch it, sometimes it tweaked its appearance a tad bit,i can change its direction and shape by moving my eye sharply pointing to that direction.it started since my childhood,i can't explainthe meaning of this.I,ve seen and heard demons on two occasions before.

introduction; Reading this passage of the Bible, we are made to understand that Lazarus and his sisters were the Master's personal friends. They knew Him closely. He visited them often. He ate in their house. They looked forward to him coming every time he was in the region.

Like every human, Lazarus fell very ill, sick unto death. They knew He could heal him without issues. They had seen Him heal others, so they sent for Him, He didn't come. probably didn't even send a word back to comfort them. They knew that Jesus knew how serious the matter was, he didn't need to be told. They still went on to inform him about it. He still didn't showup.

Lazarus Waited for his friend until he died. His friend didn't come. 4days after he had started decaying, he came. To do what now? To mock? to watch us mourn? One may ask.

From January to December, I have prayed, fasted. trusted you, obeyed you. won souls, evangelised, I gave to the poor. I never missed any church service. I followed every instruction through. Yet, am still here. Do you really care?

Holy Spirit, what does that even mean? How is Christ the Resurrection? (knowing this time, he had not died nor resurrected yet) I closed my Bible, closed my eyes, closed my physical ears, switched on my spirit man.

(Life may not die immediately in the absence of the sun. But it's dead, it's just a matter of time)

He said, so it is with Christ. Christ is Life. He can give life to who ever or whatever, at anytime he dims it fit. The issue is not whether He can give Life. The issue is, Is He willing to give it, and when?

But they asked Lord! Why didn't you give? Why didn't you ask your father for healing for your friend Lazarus, why let him die first?
Which would ve been easier, to heal him or to raise him up?

He said to me, The case of Lazarus is the same with the case of the man born blind. It has nothing to do with his parents or him, just like it has nothing to do with Lazarus being sick, dying and getting resurrected.

If Batimeus didn't grow up blind, many Jews would not ve sought to know how possible that could be. If I had gone when Martha sent for me, they wouldn't learn patience and discipline in ministry.

If I had gone when they wanted me, the name of Lazarus, would be just be a name. But today, anywhere the name Lazarus is mentioned, people know him. MY DELAY MADE HIM FAMOUS.

He said, I want you to tell me your challenges, not because I don't know them, but I want you to depend on me, in love. Tell me what you want, BUT don't tell me how you want me to do it, and When you want it. I don't walk/work with your time. I will do it, in my time.

He said, He created everyman to handle just one assignment on earth. But man is not even interested to find out what his assignment is, that's why he is so worried trying to do 100things that doesn't concern him.

He said, The spiritual is not fascinated by signs and wonders. And I don't perform signs and wonders to show off. It's not to flex ego. There are only necessary to raise questions in the hearts of men, and for those questions to gets answers men will have to draw close to the Master. When they come, then we can sit down and talk about issues. They will then see that they have been looking at things wrongly and are getting it all wrong.

If you want to work for yourself, then walk off, but if you want to work for me, then walk by me, not looking at the clock that tells you how old you are.
As at when I needed Isaac, was when he came. As at when I needed Samuel, was when he came, as at when I needed John the Baptist is when he came.

Remember you are the clay. The clay doesn't tell the Potter when, and how to be formed, or what the Potter shd do with it.

My Friend.. This is a prophetic gift you have there.
This is something you must really take serious because satan & his demons will fight you tooth & nail.
Let me share an experience why you need to be strong.

While in the university, I lived off campus with a friend in one of the hostels oustide school. Boys & Girls lived in that same hostel together.
One day I had a guest(a girl) who was a friend of mine that had graduated but she came to finish up her school clearance so she stay with me.
My room mate didn't really mind just becos of me. He was my close friend.

This girl was demon possessed and I knew all along, but I was too weak spiritually at this time and I didn't care. I had serious lustful feelings for her & I didn't even know why. Anytime I tried to touch her, she always complained that my body was too hot, then I would let her be.

This particular night, at about 10pm. I was cuddling her, touching her and she didn't seem to care. Then we slept off. At about 2am in the morning, i woke up and turned to look at her.
Lo and Behold, I saw a very angry face staring at me. A very white spirit, it eyes were pure white, der was no pupil in its eyes. It was in the girl's body. This was one mean angry spirit.

Before I could say Jack, the spirit had jumped on me already, trying to strangle me. This is real physical experience not even in a dream.
Mehnn, I fought hard with the spirit. It was ontop of me, full of anger, just trying to squeeze the breath out of me. The spirit was strong
I couldn't even scream. I struggled with it until I overpowered it. The demon in the girl was obviously jealous I was tampering with his property.

I got up, woke my friend up(room mate), told him what happened. We prayed. Then later I started to use tricks to make the girl leave our room. The girl was possessed and out of love, I toldher she needed help. She still stayed with us for one more week.
Before she left us, the caretaker of the hostel came & told me.. He said 'Do you know the girl you're staying with is possessed'? I was shocked he knew too. I said yes & we both laughed.

It was God's grace that saved me that day. Not every friend is actually a friend. Some are there to spy on you then kill your progress.
Let's be careful.

the most funniest thing is that 95 percent of the time,a demonic possesed human won't realise they are possesed. The demons are extremely trickish,they counceal their identity the entire time.

about demonic attacks, i have that on a regular. most recent one was in my dream. a huge scary creature like a Buffalo but bigger than an elephant charged @ me. one thing i have learnt with dealing with those is not to be afraid, so i stood in readiness, even though i was so tiny as regards our ratio. as it continued to charge towards me and seeing i didn't move, it's size began to shrink. surprisingly when it got to were i was it turned into my elder brother, apologizing to me that he was just playing. though i let it go i knew it wasn't my bro.


other times when they attack i will tell myself it's just a dream and then force myself up lol. sometimes when i very hot pursuit i just fly. i,ve researched about it before,i found it was normal too but what bafflesme was that i can see ordinary tiny floaters like blurry eyes do capture,but this particular floater is distinct,different,and with a shape that spells mystery. Thats why am Inquisitive to know more.

i cannot see it in darkness, on a bright day,when i closed my eyes,i can still see that particular one hence all other tiny floaters disapper. Until I read about this I had forgotten about it. It looks like a mosquito larvae only a fraction of its actual size.

I can't argue with your conviction that it's something else bro. The light test tells me all I need, but I understand they are of different shapes and sizes and they elicit different reactions across individuals.

The eye is basically a 'ball' full of transparent fluid called vitreous gel. For some reasons some linings of the retina wall come off and they float in the gel. These if large enough cast a shadow on the retina and can be noticed as dots which move around as your eye turns. These shadows are called 'floaters' as they appear to float in space in front of your eyes. Think of wearing glasses with a speck or a har strand on them. Everything you look at, you see the speck/hair 'in front' of it. Mine is a tiny strand like 1/20th of a toothbrush strand in size. Totally negligible, and only visible in bright light

Well, to some, its been a year of unfulfilled dreams, unachieved goals, delayed desires. But not to worry. Man count years, God doesn't.

My devotion this morning was more or less a discussion with the holy spirit. I ask questions and I let him answer. So let me share our dialogue.

introduction; Reading this passage of the Bible, we are made to understand that Lazarus and his sisters were the Master's personal friends. They knew Him closely. He visited them often. He ate in their house. They looked forward to him coming every time he was in the region.

Like every human, Lazarus fell very ill, sick unto death. They knew He could heal him without issues. They had seen Him heal others, so they sent for Him, He didn't come. probably didn't even send a word back to comfort them. They knew that Jesus knew how serious the matter was, he didn't need to be told. They still went on to inform him about it. He still didn't showup.

Lazarus Waited for his friend until he died. His friend didn't come. 4days after he had started decaying, he came. To do what now? To mock? to watch us mourn? One may ask.

Martha may have asked. Master, what is the point of you coming now? IF YOU HAD COME WHEN WE SENT FOR YOU, MY BROTHER WOULD NOT HAVE DIED. Now he is dead. its too late. What is the point of having you as a friend, if you can't be here in a time like this?

this post answers a lot of questions i always wanted to ask God but couldnt. e.g
why me, why not now, why like this, are you angry with me, do you love him better than me (even though i make efforts to serve you better) e.t.c

we have gotten used to living with parents (and fathers) who made mistakes and arent perfect that we forget and begin to think God is like that. OH GOD FORGIVE ME(US). THIS POST WAS REFRESHING, REVIVING, HELPFUL, SOOTHING....INFACT I'M ALMOST TEMPTED TO BEG YOU TO POST TOMORROWS CONVERSATION AT MORN DEVOTION AGAIN. THANKS DEAR. YOU SAVED A LIFE(S)
