y'ello ! ya all shouldnt blame mtn alone on this...all this is happning cos of the problem d mtn got wit ncc....(in conjunction wi oda local network providers daa wanna ruin d image mtn has). they are bent on pushing d company out of business in nigeria....but mtn is doing its possible best to ensure it updates d much anticipated finger print error n photo error.all other networks should b having dis same problem ,but dats nt d case....d best yall can do now is wen u get d text concerning d re_registration,kindly go 2 d nearest mtn center n Register ur sim or sims( be it 1 or 2 or 4 sims its all going to b registered in one single process that shouldnt b more than 15mins.MTN HAS A BONUS FOR THIS REGISTRATION PACKAGE...some. got 1k some 2k ..some 5k ...10k airtime and some lucky ones got N 20,000 worth of airtime. thank you 4 chosing mtn...........every were you go.

No i didn't
They blocked my line during the time they did the massive blocking. Then i used the BVN option cos i was too busy to go to any of their centres.
I couldn't call out or receive calls.
On the third day after the blocking my line rose again, i got a call from a friend. That's how i knew it was done.

I then dialled *789# and i got the confirmation there that it was indeed registered.

My dear am not an MTN fan as such because of the S-African-zenophobic treat to us, so I don't need to convince you. Just like I said this is my second time and right now am still using it.

the funniest thing is that i was @ their office in falomo and the queue was nothing to write home about , i have to leave with annoyance.
i dont know what to do cos i cant afford been cut off this line its my only sure-p
