justwise: ...just wondering why black on black killings don't attract this sort of protest...black life matters only when killed by white? justwise: Everyone knows that the blacks who commit these heinous crimes are held accountable by the system. They are never given a free pass on any level whatsoever. How do you think America became the only country in the world to incaserate close to 2.3million human beings mostly people of color through decades of a failed drug war? Even though statistics show that whites use drugs at the same rate or even more than black folks. Now that the drug epidemic amongst whites has reached an alarming proportion politicians are no longer for mass incaseration but rehabilitation and treatment. People protest police killings because they took and oath to serve and protect. The criminals are not under any such obligations. Anytime the instrument of state is perceived to be used to subjugate or oppress a minority then we have a problem. I will admit that the media has successfully ingrained certain stereotypes in all of us... ** A Muslim or someone with a Muslim sounding name shoots up a mall and we immediately think -terrorists ***Mexicans are illegals *** Blacks are considered criminals *** A white man who shoots up a school full of little kids or a church full of blacks is labeled mentally unstable. The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses. Thanks Firstty for the response. Interestingly while there I requested to make payment for the epidural (i had read ur post) and the nurses got someone from accounts/admin who said I can't pay there, no one would take cash from me. Is there a specific person I can ask for at the hospital to be able to make the payment. Thanks firsttymum: |

I gave birth there exactly 2months ago. For Birth certificate, it comes in within 5days but request from the person filling the form that I need to speak to their madam or her number so u can follow up with her.that's what I did. For zero balance, call them in their line, and request for it immediately after dischage,it always ready 2weeks after delivery. Their bills range from 7 to 9k dollars. Normal delivery is like 7k and around 9k for c-section. All depends on d doctors fee and epidural / pediatrician It all varies so enquire and choose wisely. jacklenst: |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by vcole: 10:30am On Dec 30, 2015 |

you mentioned a doctor off the top of your head? so what correspondence did you give? cos the rules clearly state that you should have contacted a doctor who is ready to accept medical responsibility. Hospital correspondence only shows their fees and policy. You are the one giving summarized stories (maybe phony too). To come here asking for Atl doctors when that has been flogged and beaten to death and even buried in the other parts just seems phony. I am very sure that your "correspondence" clearly states that they are exclusive of physician fees. VO advised you to book a doctor's appointment? #miraculousvisathings LWKMD!!!! Plus you have been a registered nairalander since 2007 with interests in other random albeit male-seeming kinda posts - building and recruitment. and since 2007, all of a sudden you post on dec 29th, 2015 asking about Atl docs. maybe i have watched too much fiction sha. 10 Likes |

kemmytino:My dear just ignore any comment that is of no benefit to your quest...google the O &G doctors with associated to the hospital you are interested in...load airtime and get to work..you are sure to get one within your budget..then you can check shawbabe's posts..had her baby in atl i think..and i reiterate again simply ignore unwarranted unneccesary or rude comments. 7 Likes |
