Thank you everyone for the best wishes. This is a stage of my life that I will NEVER EVER trade for anything else. It is a wonderful journey and it's been fun all the way. I keep wondering how and what I have done to Almighty Allah to have granted me my little bundle of joy. I will continue to praise HIM.
I am praying to Almighty Allah to answer all trying to conceive person (s) that the joy that fills the heart of the new mothers here, the innocence of the new born and this season bless you with your own wonderful kids by God's grace and it will happen soon, sooner than expected.

It really has been so challenging lactating. But with the help of an electric breastpump...I have been feeding my little one.

I rejoice with everyone on this day 31st of Dec 2015. May our joy never be cut short. May God perfect everything that is yours. May we reap the fruits of our labour.

Laeroy, depression kills so try to snap out of it very fast. You have some money so you can start somewhere. Don't allow the little issues happening now affect your marriage. It is a phase and will pass. The way you handle it determines how long your marriage will last. I wish you all the best as we enter the New Year!

I don't really know much about this but most preggie mamas have stomach pain during pregnancy as a result of the uterus lining stretching. If it becomes unbearable then she should see her doctor asap.
Also remind her to avoid lying on her back or tummy. She should practice lying on her side, especially the left side to aid blood flow.

Other more experienced mamas can torchlight the matter for you. She'll be fine

this is the best advice for the lady .when i was in school and nobody had my time i went to aba with 8k,i picked alot of beautiful clothings that day ehh that when i wenf back to school i became popular and sold off everyhing.i did this buisness till i got married and upgraded and one thing i know about okirika buisness is that the price of good HARDLY change so mrs laeroy with 20k you can start off your okirka buisness anywhere just go on a monday morning and picked the best of them and i can assure you that you will always gain.

I won't advise her to start okrika if she doesnt have a solid customer base already. She must have a network of friends and family or even former colleagues that will buy from her cos she has no shop yet.
Besides most ppl buy okrika on credit or installments. That can cripple any business faster than anything.

Laeroy, what can you do?
Any special talents eg baking, hairweaving etc.
Can you cook?
If you can bake very well, try to go round about 15 supermarkets, make samples of your cupcakes(#50) and bargain with them( usually a dozen goes for #500). I am sure that at least 5 will try you out even if they have other suppliers.

If you can't bake at least you can fry.
Make plantain chips.
Make it nice, spicy and yummy. Your capital cant extend to 10k so u are still in a safe zone just like in baking too. Also go round and advertise.
Go to schools around you (tuck shops), hospitals ( esp the ANC unit), neighbours with plenty kids ( for school snacks), if you trust your dh with cash he can even take to his workplace for you.
The money you will be making wont be much at first( just like in any business) but as sales begin to improve.
Buy about 4 samples first to know what size, taste and packaging you should aim for.
Make sure yours has a edge over theirs, add spices ( garlic, ginger, pepper ( cameroon) , peppersoup spice) and seasoning.
Sha google on how to make it.

About the depression, its cos there is no money + the stress of caring for a totally dependent being (your child) can be exhausting.
Take a step back and re-strategise. You are a woman, you can do this.

If you are a Graduate, try looking for a teaching job. Yes, as a beginner with no prior experience the pay may be low. As low as 15k buh if you remove your Tfare ( assuming your dh feeds you) and you can still have 10k, you should take it.
You have to start somewhere and having 10k monthly beats having nothing plus you get to leave the house( and your worries) and mingle with others. It is in that same place you will get private lessons that will pay better or even move on to another school that pays more or even at least get money to continue searching for your dream job. Or even get the experience to open your own creche.
