Pls guys, how can I root infinix hot 2 on pc? A friend of mine mistakenly upgraded via OTA without unrooting the phone, now, kingroot can't root it again.
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by Kittana: 9:55am On Dec 31, 2015
Abeg una oo. Is the glo bis still working on androids? I've gone back and forth, trying to figure out what I'm not doing right, but the + signs are yet to appear beside the 3G, not to speak of tethering with PC. Phone is well rooted, BIs is activated, but no internet access. Why?

Engineers in the house, please help, ever since I started using my android phone, it has been sending premium text messages without my permission. Both sims are sending the message. MTN charges ₦15 which is sim 1 while GLO charges ₦10 which is sim 2. I've called customer care of both network and they're not helping. Glo said the number is not showing on their side. Just a name which is USA 1. I've lost a lot of cash to this rubbish. My phone is Gionee M5. Please help.

Note: I don't see any trace of text message in my sent message folder but I some times get a pop up message which says "last sms cost ₦15 or ₦10 and sometimes I don't get it.

I think your phone might be infected. What's the model of the phone? I'm guessing it's running jellybean (android 4.3 or earlier)?

It's Gionee M5 running on Android 5.1
I've done update twice, cleared my phone cache, did factory reset twice and it's still happening.

Maybe you should try using a different sms app. Do you see the sent message in the message log?
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by 4llerbuntu(m): 2:47pm On Dec 31, 2015
Chairman enable app permissions and check to see all the apps that have sms permission.

Disable that permission for the funny ones. Infact it's only whatsapp and the sms app that should have sms permission.

Enabling app permission will let u know which app is trying to do stuff too.

Anyway the problem is you have a rogue app, probably a virus hidden in your phone l OS. If you are rooted you will be able to delete it/them after u identify it.

Have an Injoo One 3G HD it got soft bricked and on bootloop now

This happened when I downloaded the OTA update because it is still on KitKat during imstallation it brought up am error in the stock recovery..
And yes, it was rooted I think that's the issue

That's the problem. I don't see the sent messages. What I get is just a pop up message that says last SMS cost 10 or 15 naira. But I don't receive it sometimes. It just happened again. The first charges was from my mtn line this morning and this one is from my glo line which is 10. No trace of SMS sent in sent folder. I've installed a new OS then I started installing all my apps one by one to monitor it. At first I wasn't charged throughout last night till this morning until I started using internet and the first app I installed was MTK engineering which I used in tweaking my IMEI number in other to use GLO BIS. After that I installed Nova launcher and the charges started after that. So I don't know which is giving me the problem. If it's between changing of IMEI, installing MTK engineering or the Nova launcher.

Eeyah sorry. Now I have one question, does it ever work when you're not connected to the internet? If not maybe you can install an internet firewall app like norootfirewall and use it to enable only certain apps from connecting to the internet

All the times I've noticed it, my internet is always on. Thanks for this info. Will try it after the experiments I'm on. I installed True messenger last night and made it my default message so I'm still observing it for now. One other thing I noticed is that my message app normally crashes for no reason. Thanks for your reply so far. I really appreciate.

What applications have you used to try to surf? Does it surf well when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network?

I had similar issue on my phone only to later realize the message was being sent remotely by an app on my phone. typically, apps programmed to report or lately stolen phone send such messages. in my own case, it was my Avast anti-theft app. in other instances such programmes are preinstalled in the phone user interface. it's left for you to identify the app, disable, force stop or uninstall it depending on the situation.
bon chance

This explains it all. When I first bought the phone, I didnt used network to set it for the first time, but any time I installed a new updates via SP flash tool, google won't give me access to the device unless I log into it with my email that was previously used to access the device. And when I called GLO, they told me the number was not showing on their side that it was just a name and the name is USA 1. Thanks for your feedback. Really appreciate it. I wasnt using anti virus until it started so it will be hard to trace it. I'm even thinking its the messaging app it self.

Motorola are well known for using good hardware, it might be a case of your friends moto having excellent antennas.. My Mum's uses a moto G she usually gets stronger network pull than my Bros who uses Injoo on the same network...
