Nubian113: lol.. it's not Xmas carnival... it's new year carnival.. it is done almost in every street, estate & borough in Nigeria - christians and Muslims celebrate it together besides , it's not an African thingy but a normal phenomenon... Carnivals are done before the season of Lent in the Gregorian calendar(Catholic church) **most poets are emosh.... I'm sure you'd do great if you decide to pen something... I'd like to read something from you .. please do so |

darkenedrebel: I just picture carnival in a hot country I mean. We can't have carnival here so it's good ol fashion pagan light worshiping this time of year because the sun sets so early... Wish we could have a street carnival now 1 Like |

SOLIDARITY WITH ADVERSARY This meek peasant's reminiscing - let him dish it in an instant, Love never dwelled inside this district, Malignant thoughts caressed our instincts, Acerbic words on all our kissers - we cursed and curses caused some lesions, we made awful decisions, and we wasn't really patient, we were vitriolic, and our baneful words brought abrasions, lacerations, deriding and account deactivations, even perused Thesauruses - to grammatically diss our opposition, I hope this piece can preach the peace - and help in bridging up the distance, for instance....shut your eyes.....picture me and Nubian Kissing, Amidst smogs of Egyptian incense, or me and Tashaa swishing, me and Truck in deep allegiance, Lala thinks I'm still indecent, I regret and I'm sorry - no facade, no faux, no pretence, Friends uniting with foes - Moors residing with Christians, am I a wishful wisher - are these just verbs of a feeble nuisance? 2015 says Aloha - in 2016 we'll make the difference, Dedicated to Nubian113 cherryice, Tashaamania and all ma frienemies ... also to luxanne and creamish and cherlene.. and laveda and Kimburlyie too..sinizia, mhizkel and estharfabian 9 Likes 9 Shares |

Nubian113: He's good with words, the only mistake was that he didn't put it in poem form, but it's nice. I love it. Evening Queen. Happy new year to my troublesome friend whom I love fiercely. Would've taken you out on a casual date if I was anywhere near you, but since I ain't, I'm gonna spend the night listening to the sound of firecrackers in my street and watching In The Heart Of The Sea. Have you seen the movie before? BTW, the pic below is for You, Cherryice, Lala, Danbrownmf, Llaykorn and Rebel, my online buddies. Y'all rock. 3 Likes 3 Shares

As I lay here wit grief and resentment. I think of her smile, Her oneess, Its so sad I regret my actions I regret my unconscious decisions I regret everething Time flies by and I get scared Scared to loose my soulmate Sacred to loose my engine For she has driven me all these years It is as though I ask for a rewind of time from grandfather in the sky The feeling of sheer depression sinks into my brain Mentally nd emotionally depressed I am All seems to be valiant a of my troubles Scared I am to the very elm of time I miss her smile Her cheeks She was so full of life I cant stop thinking of her The way she held me so strong all these years, Her believe and love 4 me, For sadness is my only friend. Apelex: . ~Kiss~ My tongue sticks to hers Rotating in an anti clockwise With its tip pitching her teeth gum Claiming the audacity of love. My saliva crosses the border Like the meeting of two rivers The taste changes in zero second Sweet sour like honey salt. My lips clutch to hers Well paint with her make ups Wide open to give the way Moving in direction with hers. My eyes close in anticipation Paying treacherous respect no one requests Serving as line to my heart A romanticize contact, I say My hands grab her hips The best posture I ever recommend Perambulating on her behind Resting well as one in paradise. ©Sotikare Olakunle Taiwo |

This dome might be a bit inappropriate to post this but fück it. So much school work have made me forgotten how much I enjoy composing these hubristic rhetorics. ,.composed in a train... The D of TRANQUILITY I hear a wailing piano in a tear-furrowed concerto/ where wheedling diminuendo overlaps razor-sharp crescendo/...When an inexpugnable force/jams immovable thoughts/You know the answer: the crucible will be buried in the salt/ This sacrosanct Schröndinger cat - give heebie-jeebies in clacks/and bukake the Blarney stone for the gift of the gab/ Niccolo Machiavelli on a vertical groove/with a golden lung that emits omnidirectional tunes/Me and the sorceress are wrapped beneath the cloak of the moon/We swap flüids then smoke the relics of a Serbian wolf/ Hobbesian absolutism is seedily established/in this Godzillah Zillah God whose nous is outlandish/Ectoplasmic mass of sentience, parallel brains that could ravish/and align pathos with bathos to do literary damage/..In the year of Anglo-Saxons - my prose civilized a savage/ The Earl of Vikings grew envious...He called it pants & dumb luck/...so I clubbed the Earl in combat...I'm Ragnar Lothbrok/ James Holmes on a killing spree - weaponizing a millipede/The eerie Optician to the eye on the pyramid/ They gave me the term of opprobrium/in a spatial emporium/till I iambized tragedians in a 12-hour symposium/ In the disciplines of Literature, the Rebel's sublime/Art, Philosophy, Politics..three-quarter of Science/Method of Loci to memorize the tenets he writes/A proper genius - scientists pitching tents in his mind/ Hegel and Plato schooled his clan/he bears the Nubian brand/Some call him the Renaissance three-dimensional Vitruvian Man/ He's more of a myth, blind thurifer, supersensible priest/dripping of the healing liquid of the Lazarus Pit/ **** 8 Likes 6 Shares |

Felt like sharing..... Reviews please.... constructive ones, don't crucify. We all know you're smart Google lined up on the tartars of your gown Poised erect, all gloomy and shiny On the media for us to see The emptiness in your drum A beat you've been itching to touch We all know you're kind-hearted When with fingers, camera and sound All imagery filled with farce abound Smeared with smiley faces of your Ego-riented kindness are all loud Spare us your misery, we'll swipe away We all know how pretty you've become Your public display has fed our eyes We needn't pay for a private show We got it in High Definition for free Even more, your silent pains that harbour the horrors that lie beneath your smiles We all know how rich you are And that your display is quite necessary Cars, Houses and clothes of no equal We've found joy on your expensive timeline And the bitterness you find in helping the poor But don't be ashamed, we'll keep pretending we like you We all know how happy your family is We only dont get to see behind the scenes And the horror you put your spouse to But display it, flaunt it, we'll like Again and again, and pray, and curse But our minds tell us the truth Like the fact of death, it never deceives We are well aware of your arrival i blog at poeticpopcorn..com |
