Did santasuki think of the rule of law when he was sharing the yams to all sorts of goats?

Did Kanu think of the rule of law when he was making treasonable statements against the Nigerian state or when he was travelling with fake passport..

The challenges are enormous. The desire may be there but the KING has made himself the Law. The first thing we voted you in is to hold the tenets of democracy strong.
When the President is apparently endorsing the illegal "kidnapping" of its citizens live on National television, then we really should be worried not just because of the present predicament but because we are afraid that if our legislative and judicial arms arm muscled into acceptance of gross illegality we may be heading to anarchy.
So Mr President, start the new year with respecting court orders.

I pray Nigeria advances. However, I am convinced PMB lacks the intellect, freeness of mind, foresight and hindsight to make it happen. He can hire the best from Harvard to write his speeches, but running a country is not reading written thesis. He lacks all it takes to lead. He has a complex issue. He is unsure of himself. He is vindictive. He is ethnically and religiously too biased to see issues clearly. He is already senile. His mistakes show us what he can do. Even with the best hands, little will be achieved because he lacks humble managerial ability to manage the hands. Howbeit, I hope God helps us. There is no magic that a man of less-than-25-percent intelligence can do to move a country like Nigeria forward.
God bless PMB.
God bless Nigeria.

Bros, They need not think during GEJ's time. Impunity was the order of the day. Asari Dokubo go talk anyhow, go free. Australian Negotiator come say he know BOKO HARAM, swindle the Government go scot free, Tompolo as a private individual buy warships, go scot free. Alams was pardoned infact, Stealing was not Corruption.

What do you expect? Everybody was doing as he like. Dasuki Collected 40billion from CBN She-are the money. Nothing would have happened. Send soldiers go battlefield with old weapons, while Boko Haram get better weapons. Why soldiers no go mutiny?

Now People are responsible for their actions.

Nigeria has many excelleent speechwriters.

Heck, we have produced the likes of Achebe, Soyinka, Cyprian Ekwensi, Emecheta, Saro-Wiwa, Fagunwa, Abani, Helon Habila, Ben Okri, Adichie,Unuigwe and many more.

People who have their way with words.

But alas, we never get those in power, who translate words on paper into economic progress. sad

Two weeks into GEJ's govt, he set up an economic forum and team and started talking about investments, investors and how to woo them to Nigeria. He gathered top biz moguls and travelled with them each time he was to travel. PMB has not made any economic statement since inauguration. A man who does not understand national economics cannot make one.

^^^^^^^ Your post a few months ago.

GEJ was better because he set up economic forum and he traveled with moguls and investors.

Well, I won't even ask you to list the moguls, investors and economic team because Nigerians know the looting and sharing team GEJ st up to loot us dry lawlessly, we know how he drained the CBN with just ordinary memo.

We know GEJ was the president of Nigeria when oil was selling for $100 and above and still with nothing to show for it, we know even with the huge oil income, he still couldn't build the 2nd NB and Nigerians are still in darkness after 16 years of GEJ and PDP rule and even over 20 billion dollars looted power funds.

Sometimes I wonder why many of you are filled with twisted conscience and lousy sense of righteousness..

Welcome to the beginning of a New Year of the continuation of CHANGE in our beloved nation. I am aware that Nigerians have experienced a number of significant hardships over the past months. Living in the State House has not alienated me from your daily sufferings. I am aware of the lengthy queues at fuel stations and of the difficulties businesses have faced in acquiring foreign exchange.

These challenges are only temporary; we are working to make things better. When I presented myself to you as a presidential candidate and asked you to vote for me, I wanted to be a leader who keeps his promises. I wanted to be a leader who restores the people's hope in those elected to serve them. I wanted to be a leader who initiates positive and enduring CHANGE.

I am still totally committed to being that kind of leader. Unforeseen circumstances and other distractions notwithstanding, I shall still do my utmost best to keep every promise I made to Nigerians during my election campaign. In the past seven months since our inauguration on May 29, 2015, my administration has focused on laying the right foundation for the CHANGE you voted for during our historic presidential election. Nigerians will in due course begin to enjoy the fruits of all our ongoing work.

The effective and efficient implementation of our 2016 budget proposals will address many of the socio-economic issues that are of current concern to our people. One area in which Nigerians, especially those in the northeast, have already begun to experience major CHANGE is in the war on terror. I commend our Armed Forces for significantly curtailing the insurgency which has ravaged the northeast of Nigeria over the past few years.

However, there is still a lot of work to be done in the area of security. Our Armed Forces will maintain, consolidate and build on their successes in the war against Boko Haram and violent extremism. This government will not consider the matter concluded until the terrorists have been completely routed and normalcy restored to all parts of the country that have been adversely affected by the Boko Haram insurgency.

Our crackdown on corruption will continue to be vigorously undertaken. I urge the courts to support our efforts and help in the recovery of stolen funds by speedily concluding trials and showing that impunity no longer has a place in our country.

There is much work to do in other areas as well and I have charged all my ministers and other appointees to ensure that Nigerians experience positive changes in their lives in 2016. We must reduce our country's reliance on oil. We must diversify our economy.

And we must do all we can to promote job creation. Our challenges are many but our determination to succeed is strong and unshaken. So too is our confidence in God. I wish you all a very

Happy New Year.
