This game ranks amongst my favorite in the UCL. The pace was just incredible. Funny thing is that Casillas is the only player in this game that still plays football.

I have watched plenty UCL matches. Tho i know i ve not watched as much as some peeps for here....

But seeing Alonso equalise for Liverpool from three goals down and Jerzy Dudek constantly being a thorn in Milan's flesh makes the 2005 final my own favorite!!

My Fav UCL game has to be the 2-2 draw at camp Nou.... That game still looks like a Nollywood production....

That is an indefatigable fact!! I believe roman made a big mistake!! For fu*ks sake, he should have been patient!!! That is what long term means!!!! Ferguson had rough patches but always came back stronger!! From 2002-2006, Manu's team hit a rough patch because most of their players were now old, they surrendered their title to arsenal and Chelsea, they were a bit unstable but nobody in the board complained because they trusted him, he disassembled the squad, then rebuilt it around Rinaldo and in a few years, they won the champions league!!!

Now that's successful long term management.. Although Chelsea has won loads of trophy's in the last ten years, we have done that with so much instability, and some trophy's have been arguably by luck!!! Eg, 2010 premier league by 1point, 2008 fa cup by 2red cards and an own goal by our opponents(Liverpool), 2012 champions league!! By a late equalizer, a missed opponents penalty and the 2013 Europa by a late 90th minute goal by Ivanovich, don't forget we are the only champions league winners not to have won the club world cup and uefa super cup further highlighting our inferiority\ instability in the competition.

The clubs heirachy continues to give the players the collective will and power to act as they like, mostly undermining the manager, mourinho was one of the best coach in the game who guaranteed success and its unfortunate the board turned their back on him despite the belligerence of the players!!.

I thought our board had turned a corner when they publicly backed José but for them to have turned their back on him later on due to PALPABLE DISCORD WITH PLAYERS!!!!! its a shame!! Its a really big shame!! But I hope we come out of this unhurt!
