No. It's more trouble than it's worth. Billionaires aren't very happy people.

I don't see how it's weird at all. Lol your weird scale is very confused oo.
Wait what kind of billionaires are you talking about?.
Do you realize that Bill Gates money financed the eradication and vaccination of polio in the north?
And that he is also currently financing the research on a vaccine for malaria? Do you know his wife went to a country and had to lift bucket water on her over a km distance to see the daily struggles of the females in that community?
Or what is the point of becoming a billionaire? It's to put smile on people's faces who her grossly under privileged! The kids in the north east or Syrian kids who need relief materials?
I saw a documentary one day, in Kenya there is this disease that causes a whiteish kind of worm to grow in their legs, it would enter into their leg and grow as long as 100cm to the point their legs get so swollen they walk in pain. So this kid was held down by 2 men while the third, a doctor, was pulling this worm out and you could see the amount of pain he was in, crying and scratching. Eventually it was over and his leg was bandaged. But he was walking barefooted even after the treatment. Now I discovered the whole community needed a footwear of sort to stop a reoccurence as well as a form of disinfectant that would be applied to their leg or surrounding to keep it at bay.
Now I put it to you, being a billionaire to solve such problems is not worth it or that it won't make me the happiest man alive? What other possible happiness is greater than this?

Ehm. No I didn't mean that. If I happened to become a billionaire of course I would help as many people as possible.

I could bet Bill Gates isn't a very happy man. He will never be completely happy. He can never have friends he can truly trust. Do you know how much work it takes to be a billionaire ? They always have to be careful. Their kids always have to be careful. Do you know how many people he has to manage ? For security ? And how his life is completely based on them. Never mind his company. Imagine having to make all your "friends" sign non disclosure agreements.

And actually, according to psychologists, when billionaires start giving away a ridiculous amount of money they usually only do so to make themselves feel better. They become satiated with money. They have bought everything they'd ever want. And they start giving lots away to get a sense of fulfilment. But unfortunately, it won't work because they never really struggled to get the money they're giving away.

And by the way I wouldn't wait to become a billionaire to help people ? What about the ordinary people that go and volunteer in Africa every year? They deserve just as much recognition.

So you think there is anybody who is completely happy in life? Every one irrespective of class can be betrayed.. How about billionaire friends who stand as much to lose as yourself? You think they will be so quick to fucck you up? Do you know how Warren buffet and bill gates are good friends? They have a common interest that brought about their friendship and to show that goodwill, bill gates has a share in Warren's company while Warren contributes to bills charity foundation. You talk of managing people? People will manage themselves if you offer a good pay for the job or you think bill gates manages the whole of Microsoft solely? Well as for the kids, if they intend to take over dad's company someday they better start learning how the game works else they free to go live ordinary lives(not that am against that kinda life anyway).

.
Well psychologists are not the billionaires, I rather take the billionaires words over theirs. Not all billionaires are spendthrifts, mark zuckerberg is one. there are some known who still ride trains or even rather reinvest their money in other businesses,.heck Warren still uses the same house he bought in the 70s. I don't know any billionaire who did not struggle to get to that spot, even those who inherited, struggled to remain on top. If you give for your own need to find fulfillment it may not work, but if your desire is to give so as to brighten another individuals day, to give them hope in this cold world, to help dreams come true. I am sure as day, going to feel fulfilled and so would any man too.

I am not saying no one should wait to become a billionaire to help people. But unless you want to sound bias,a large pool of money can bring a much much more desirable and condiderable effect to individuals in need than a single individual and his pocket. Example is the polio, and malaria vaccines.. Another example is the haphazard solution to the legs ridden with worms in Kenya. The resources of a billionaire could do much more than a group of individuals could achieve. I am not speaking on the basis of recognition, as a matter of fact,, I believe the best philanthropist deeds are those done for no recognition.

Ehm. No almost all philanthropic deeds are done for recognition. Just be honest, I give a lot of charity and I won't even lie there's always that small part of me that wants gratitude for what I've just done. That's complete normal human nature. It's like if you go to work and you did an amazing job and no one recognises it you'd feel bad... Even just a bit. Obviously, the bigger the job you did the more recognition you'd want for it. Simply because it'll make you happy. What a lot of billionaires do is, they start to give a lot of charity to make themselves get appreciated and happy. They're honestly doing it so they can believe they've done something.

No. Think about it. As a billionaire you're going to have a security team yes. But you're a huge target so that security team will have people working for them. The amount of people you'd have to manage. Not only that, the chefs and cleaners and people to manage your house. They'd all have to be super trustworthy because they have access into your daily life. As well as therapists and psychologist. Heck a billionaire can't even visit a normal doctor if they were sick. Is that really life? You've to second guess everyone in your life. You can't trust anyone. That's horrible.

Is that friendship ? No ? That's a business partnership. That's not what friendship is at all. Billionaires are usually very very lonely people. Do you know how messed up children born into fame and fortune end up ? Look at Micheal Jackson and Macaukay Culkin. More than likely they'd end up addicted to drugs or have problems in life.

Sigh. Yes they struggle to get to the top. And may struggle to get there. But getting money is an addiction of its own. And it's a bad addiction too. When will enough money be enough? They always want to stay at the top and they're truly never happy. Every minute bill gates makes over 23 thousand a minute and over 1 million an hour. Why ? Honestly. Stop for a minute and think. What will he do with all the money. What else are you going to buy. Yet he's still trying to make more. For what ? And even at that bill gates doesn't spend a ridiculous amount of money. He wants to keep his money. Why ? Why are you making so much just to stay on top and you honestly can't afford to take a walk on the beach alone. Is that life?

I can't speak for all, but i myself can't figure out why I would want gratitude from someone I helped with a worm ridden feet, a child who had lost both parents in war or the vaccines I financed the research that would save thousand of babies from dieing from malaria or disabilities? To me, that is just sick! We all exist and are what we are by Gods grace not by our sole power.
You seem to know the mind of all billionaires, how many do you know personally?

Your post above can be summed up as someone who is afraid of the complexities of that level of success and I cannot dissuade your feelings because you have your life to live and so do others.

What friendship is to you, may be different to what it is to another. Your principle about friendship cannot apply to everyone hence you cannot judge others mode of life style by your principle.
Your principle may be why you have the friends you have and why he has the one he has.
Your friends may just be to gist about love, cute guy in school, share secrets and counselling.
His may just be talking about the nature of shares, what to invest in at the moment, upcoming election and who they should put their money on and perhaps of course make each other rich.
And I think its better to be alone and spend quality time with yourself than with a friend with a lousy experience. We all operate differently and suited differently to each other.

This your opinion here is very out the window. Are you blaming bad parenting on wealth? Why is Bill Gate's kids not messed up? Warren Buffet's? The owners of Walmart? How about junkies who sleep in trash in the streets whose parents are nowhere financially close also have to blame their parents wealth? Just because you are wealthy doesn't make you a perfect individual, you were an individual before you became wealthy. I can say what it will do is magnify who you truly are.

Do you realise the money he makes is indirectly or even directly as a result of the employment his company has created for individuals? And as much as the company expands more jobs would be created for even peeps like your younger bro to come work later in future. Which makes him take home a good work pay to his family to put food on the table, clothes on their back and roof over their head? You are basically antagonizing a man on a splendid innovation he had years ago that has become an empire over time.
FYI, Bill gates plans on donating all his own share of the wealth of the company(yes dear, he doesnt own the company 100percent tongue) to charity.
Was asked why?, he said he would only leave 2percent to his kids cause anything more than that will ruin their lives. He said he has given them all that they require to succeed they should go and make their own money.

Lol I schooled in a very ridiculously fancy prestigious school in New York when I was growing up and I know quite a couple of millionaires and their kids and they weren't the happiest people...

Of course you want gratitude. It's really normal. That's why you get pissed off when people don't appreciate your efforts even if it's out of selflessness. It's just normal.

No no. But I'd find it easier to trust people. Billionaires have a lot of responsiblities. A lot of people that they've to trust to manage the things in their lives and also people they've to trust to manage those people. As a non billionaire I don't have to do that. If someone betrays my trust I'm not afraid I'm going to lose millions or even my life or the lives of people I love. Other than a bit of heartbreak pfffft I'm fine.

They are business partners. Their friendship doesn't ever go beyond business and will be crumpled if one of them pulls out. That's not friendship. Friendship is based on love. And even if it isn't it should never be dependent on any factors. Especially materialistic ones like money.

Billionaires aren't lonely by choice. They're lonely because they're depressed and paranoid beings.

No no no I'm not. But if you have a child that grows up in money like they would, they would have to grow up being ridiculously careful. You never hear of bill gates children doing bad things because they can't. They've to be perfect at all times to protect the family name. As a non billionaire I can make mistakes and learn from them. I'm not under constant pressure to be a perfect child. That's all going to get tiring one day...

A void gotten by having no friends, being paranoid and very depressed. Do you know how much billionaires pay for therapy ? It costs thousands. For them and their kids and their wives.

Fortunately for me, I went to an average school which am sure will pale in comparison to yours, if not for anything but for the country.

Of course you want gratitude. It's really normal. That's why you get pissed off when people don't appreciate your efforts even if it's out of selflessness. It's just normal.

Some peeps are by nature built for such challenges. It doesnt take a toll on them. But really i think your stance is one can afford to be careless and expect dire consequences. Well life is an up and down situation. If you are fed up of the top?, please by all means come down while those who are fed up of the bottom can take the spot. Hmm. They weren't happy either. I'd rather be a happy average person then a meh billionaire.

Okay. Be honest. When you were younger and you tidied up the whole house and washed the dishes without being asked and your mum comes home and she doesn't say anything. You're perfectly content ? I strongly doubt that. The tiniest small part of you wants someone to acknowledge what you've done.

Of course. That's the addiction. They need to stay at the top. They like the thrill. It's like a mountaineer climbing Mount Everest. The challenge is what feeds them. Even though it's eating away at their happiness.

Are you trying to make me burn out my battery? What then is friendship? Uncommon ground? Divergent views and personality?
I'm sure if we looked hard enough we'd all have common grounds with hitler. Is he my friend now ?
Please do not say this out loud! What possible common ground could one find with Hitler? That sought to the death of jews and also led to WW2?

No I'm saying because they've a ridiculous amount of money they're paranoid and depressed.
Ok. Your opinion

Hahah Bill gates child is never going to be a normal child. Ever. They can't raise her like one cause she's not one.

perks of being a female. In a way they may have just tacitly instilled in you to not tolerate any male that wont appreciate your least bit of effort.

Oh he was. He was an amazing leader. The majority of Germany was completely on his side. He brought unemployment down to zero. He made Germany into a lot of what we see today.

@Yourmain, tell your kid bro that when God was creating humans, he decided to give boys the willies first then give girls theirs too, but after giving boys, he discovered that all the willies had finished, so he decided to make boobs_for girls as a compensation.

There are. sad But my bro is grown up now and he isn't showing signs of being a pervert or being obsessed with sex. grin

See, you are spoiling him o. He can't stay young forever. He is a man and you have to treat and raise him to be like one. He should know that he also has responsibilities and he should own up to those responsibilities, like getting his own food.

When he said that to you, what did you do? Don't tell me you still brought the food to him?
